I previously wrote about the historical and legal perspectives of a biting incident involving one of the presidential pets, Major.
Both Biden German Shepherds (Major and Champ) were previously whisked out of town. They were then quietly brought back.
Now Major has bitten another person who reportedly required medical attention. In the prior column, I noted that under tort law a dog is afforded (at most) “one free bite” before strict liability applies. Major could now be treated as a known vicious animal for liability purposes.(Snip) he difference between “nipped” and “bitten” is that you are bitten by other people’s dogs. Your dog however only nips, which is somewhere

You think this is bad, wait until Usurper Joe completely loses what little is left of his mind and starts foaming at the mouth and biting the ankles of his commie caretakers.
I can just see it now, Biting Biden is forced to wear a muzzle when making one of his very infrequent public appearances. It is bad enough now that his handlers have to carry poop bags in their pockets to pick up after one of his "accidents".

The dog evidently don't like some of Biden's employees, and is not likely to change his mind. Either the dog, or the employee, will have to be removed from the WH.

Yes and Elmo's pit bull was a wonderful pet. He'd never killed a 2year old before ! And my neighbor went and shot up a school ??? He was such a quiet fellow!.
As far as I'm concerned take all the dogs and shoot them. As for the neighbor, he fits the doggy model.

Keep hearing that Major is a rescue dog. That is a good thing. However, media says he is three years old and was adopted in November , 2018. Sounds to me that he could have been trained since they have had him since he was a puppy. Or maybe adopting this dog was just for show and they have not fulfilled the role of responsible owners.

Someone needs to pick up Old Joe by his ears - the way LBJ picked up his hound dogs.

I love doggies but an ill-mannered one of that size has no business in the White House. Take him where he is happy and feels at home, preferably with better kinder owners !

FWIW...and I'm not a dog owner but had a breeder friend. 1) German Shepherds like many large dogs can be troublesome--and because of bad breeding they are more so, 2) shelter pets require an overabundance of SOCIALIZATION with humans, and 3) some will never be right.
It seems to me that neither dog shows affection for any of the Bidens based on the limited release of video together plus the report that Xiden was chasing one and pulling its tail leading to a slip and fall. Leave aside Xiden's child-like behavior but can set a temperamental dog right off. We also see that they are walked by others--strangers--in a new home and in the public, not private, parts of the WH. What's the matter with old Joe? Can't he walk them before his 9am coffee and his lidded schedule?
Conclusion--these two dogs were adopted for show, for the good press for the Bidens and they're both in the wrong place. I pity the dogs.

Why does Turley still call himself a Democrat? The Biden's did not raise their children to behave. Why would anyone expect their dogs to behave any better?

Around here a dog who bit three different people on three different occasions would be impounded by the Humane Society, in the spirit that no dog is above the law. Biden and his leftest Democrat crew know all about that.

One article said Major and his litter mates were “exposed to something toxic” while still babies. Taken away from their mother. (Bad because it is the mom dog who first teaches them good behavior.) He is a damaged dog. May be as nutty as Joebama.
The last person bit was a National Park employee on the White House grounds. Not a Biden employee.

PS. Because chewing on things is related to biting, I can only imagine what is happening to our White House furnishings...

Last night I watched an old episode of Curb your Enthusiasm in which Larry adopted a dog that was racist (barked at black people). This is not uncommon. In the end he became woke, and then barked at lesbians.
We have become so sensitive to everything. I'm about ready for the pendulum to swing again. Life is becoming gray in this Country

Recently Spousal Unit Prime permitted me to adopt a pair of Black Labs. At 10yrs old they had been neglected all their lives.
They are now just plain old spoiled. The don't bark, never seen teeth, and to say we are socializing them is an understatement.
Since we live in the boondocks some people just let their dogs run free, We don't but that doesn't mean mine don't get to meet up with the neighbors and just have a grand old time.
I'm just happy I can let these two have a decent retirement.

Turley injects a bit of wry humor into his treatise on dog bite liability. Major and Biden have no more wiggle room. Interesting article and the first cartoon is priceless.
