The off-duty firefighter and paramedic who begged to help George Floyd as he lay dying was berated in court by the judge for "arguing" with Derek Chauvin's defense attorney. Genevieve Hansen, 27, was reduced to tears on Tuesday while recounting the lead up to George's death on May 25, 2020 - before a drastic change in her attitude as attorney Eric Nelson began cross-examining her. (Snip) Hansen rejected Nelson's claims that medics had been called five minutes before she stumbled upon the shocking scene.
"You arrived at 8.26.29. The medics were called at 8.21 – code 3," Nelson said. But she hit

So far, have we been hearing responses based on emotion and what happened racially and socially after the incident in question including the violent rioting, or credible evidence?

In the UFC pay-per-view last weekend, Vincente Luque put Woodley to sleep in about five seconds and got paid a $50,000 bonus.
In the Hollywood version of choke-outs, it takes 9 1/2 minutes, the "victim" speaks longer than Hamlet, and the payoff is in the millions.

I know a few judges. He didn't 'blast' her and he didn't reduce her to tears. He instructed her, albeit firmly, as to what was expected of her as a witness. I've seen worse.

There is a big difference between an EMT and a Paramedic. Embellishing Ms Hansen's credentials is disingenuous.

Ms Hanson was a civilian by-stander pretending to be a world-renown physician, but in court she is wearing a uniform? You cant tell me she was directed by the prosecution to play dress up in court

I want to point out, once more, that all these police against blacks, crimes occur in Democrat-run cities.
Makes you think...

Too bad the same judge didn't jump all over Mr. Williams disrespectful testimony as a so called martial arts expert. Of course, Williams is black so be as disrespectful as you want to be. Welcome to America 2021.

Was she lying? No one suggests she was. Whether an EMT or paramedic, she has substantial training and likely experience in responding to persons in traumatic physical distress. Outside of her editorializing, what did she say that was demonstrably untrue? No one here can say with certainty what happened...none of us was there. My question was whether she produced her Fire credentials to Officer Tou Thao...and why not, while she was taking video. Let's see what the defense produces.

Oh boy, this broad is a piece of work. First clue is the testimony in her uniform. That is a favored theatrical tactic of the left. The second clue is the tears, followed by the defensive, snotty attitude. Typical narcissist, and useful tool for the narrative.

She said she did not believe the testimony of the defense. Should be easy to verify the timing from dispatch records. Appears to a SJW. Would bet she has a preference for black men.

Regardless of what we know or don't know, what we believe or don't believe about last summer, there's no way Chauvin can get a fair trial in Minneapolis.

This emotional person is entirely ignorant of the training given to Minneapolis police officers that the position that Floyd was in was the best position to SAFELY restrain a person with excited delerium. And that this position was created by Minneapolis University medical researchers to specifically NOT interfere with breathing while restraining individuals.
And the autopsy showed no indication of any bruising or injury to any windpipe or neck muscle structures, and no indication of strangulation, which leaves definite, specific telltale red dots, which were looked for in the autopsy and not found.
Floyd killed himself with a massive drug overdose. Opiates kill be depressing breathing....just like they did in Floyd's case. And an ambulance was called (five minutes before this hare brained female showed up), and was enroute at fastest possible speed.

I admit that I haven’t been following this trial and all I know about it is what I hear on radio news, but it seems to me that the prosecution is calling up a whole list of black “witnesses” who have an agenda and no problem with lying on the stand. Many are teens or 20somethings. I think the defense attorney should be able to ask each one of them if they participated in the looting, burning and destruction that ensued.

In the eyes of fat white girls, blacks can do no wrong. We have watched it for the past year on the streets, in our organizations, places of work and at home. In Saint George's case they conveniently forget that he was already a dangerous felon, a thief and a drug addict.

#17 - Ignorant or not of this "approved" procedure, Hansen gave her version of what she witnessed. She's an EMT firefighter, not a police officer, unlikely to know police restraint procedure, which could nonetheless be excessive. Did she lie? Where can anyone point that out. Neither did she claim the restraint killed Floyd, testifying she saw what she thought were bodily fluids released by Floyd while under restraint, possibly indicative of his death. About the dispatch times, she stated she didn't believe the times told her on the stand. The jury can take it or leave it.
So Hansen was emotional...is that now not allowed? The judge took control. The jury heard her story and saw her performance...all normal process in their eventual evaluation of her testimony.
As for appearing in uniform, it is likely that she was testifying while on duty, being paid by the city, which is common practice. In that capacity, she will appear in official uniform, no differently than any police officer or other uniformed employee under the same circumstances.
What we know is largely what we see in media like the Sun, filtered through our biases. So, anyone with a version that doesn't conform with our version is automatically an agent of evil, a liar...but let's have a "fair" trial. BTW: I've had two active police officer friends from a major city department tell me they thought Chauvin was out of line with his restraint technique - said at the time of Floyd's death. Seems there is room for some legitimate question.

#17 is right. They weren’t trying to hurt him. They were trying to keep him alive until the ambulance got there.

She's not a paramedic - she's an EMT. She turned argumentative and flippant when under cross-examination. The judge finally ripped her a new one at day's end.
