A new report documents that private foundations spent more than $36 million to pay local election offices in Texas to alter policies and practices in the 2020 election. The money was overwhelmingly spent in solid Democratic strongholds and designed to maximize turnout in these Biden-leaning jurisdictions. The money was concentrated in Dallas, Houston, Austin, and the Rio Grande Valley, according to a new report.
The Public Interest Legal Foundation, with which I am associated, reviewed the grant letters and other government documents executed between Texas county election officials and the Center for Technology for Civic Life, a nonprofit that poured over $350 million nationwide into government election offices in order to

The democrats ran lackluster ads for dour, lackluster candidates. Money is fungible. Someone got rich off of it.

From an article dated October 20, 2020 -
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg -
"Mark Zuckerberg has contributed $350 million to the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL), a left leaning organization that has been providing these funds to towns, cities, and counties for election administration, via contributions to their general funds. The largest, public donations have gone overwhelmingly to strongly Democratic areas, as documented below."

Harris County County Clerk mailed out unsolicited mail in ballots to everyone. We had drive by voting. The office is ran by Democrats, who hire only Democrats, who accept anything that is a vote for a Democrat without questioning. Texas still has a Republican legislature and Governor, but the state is ran by the city mayors, all Democrat. The Democrats have installed their city machines like Atlanta, Detroit, Philiadephia, and just as honest. The Republicans have moved to Katy, Sugar Land, and the Woodlands. Harris County now looks like everyone passing through threw their fast food containers out of their car windows. There is a lot of money, all going into Democrat and friends pockets, none to build or maintain the city.

It should be illegal for this sort of money to flow to election officials. This should be criminal.

#4, with apologies, not ALL cities are fun by demonrat socialist mayors.
The ones in Houston, Austin, and San Antonio are definitely run by tyrannical mayors who have used Covid as an excuse.
Having outside groups "help" bring in the vote should be illegal since there is no official chain of custody. Mailboxes can be used to solve this problem, as Absentee Ballots By Mail in Texas rules are the standard. There is the option of "curbside voting" by that requires two persons doing it and Harris County tried circumventing the rules using only ONE person so it became "drive by" voting which is illegal.
It is amazing how TEXAS counted all the votes cast in a timely manner and those states who cheated had stops in vote counting which NEVER HAPPENS when things are on the up and up. And no FAKE broken pipes or ballots under the table or Governors or Secretaries of State preventing the election laws passed by legislatures ignored-- or votes taken two weeks late!!

Re#3...... The better question is: Why aren't Republicans doing the same thing?
Republicans continue to play by the old rules in an era where democrats change them more frequently than I change my underwear.
For example. Democrats create and implement ballot harvesting, resulting in the loss of several congressional seats. What's the republican plan?

Yeah. And they still lost. No Cong seats gained, no increases in Tx lege.
You know how National Republicans are like Charlie Brown when Lucy holds the football? Well, Texas Dems play the Charlie Brown role here.

Who says Texas can't turn blue? All the large cities in Texas are blue. More and more people from California and NY are moving to Texas. Anglos are now a minority and the Spanish are the majority (with more and more with no more than a 3rd grade education pouring across the border illegally). Ted Cruz beat Beto O'rourke by less than 3%.
Who says Texas can't turn blue? And when it does, it's game over.

Well #11, I would love to argue with you but many Texans have our heads out of the clouds now and see your comments are sensible. Here in West Texas we see changes too and not for the better.

#11, most of those leaving California are coming for economic opportunity and jobs! Many Taxifornia companies are coming to Texas! Tesla is building a hug factory outside of Austin, and has built a spaceport in South Texas at Boca Chica.
Nationwide, republicans gains governorships, and state houses, and are less than 10 seats to parity with the demonrat socialists, but with the news media not reporting this, people assume that the socialists have a landslide victory.
There were lots of coat tails, but seemingly no coat for some strange reason...

The Center for Technology for Civic Life is a left-wing activist group whose mission is to increase voting in Democrat strongholds, like black and Hispanic neighborhoods in big cities. Here is some information about its founder. https://www.obama.org/fellowship/2018-fellows/tiana-epps-johnson/ The Democrats have long known that if everyone were forced to vote, the Democrats would win. The organization teamed with Zuckerberg to use private money to get local governments to relax, ie, eliminate, requirements for absentee voting, to mail out ballots to everyone and to install drop boxes in targeted locations. It worked. And it must be stropped.
