So many on the left were predicting disaster for Texas after Republican Governor Greg Abbott lifted any remaining Wuhan coronavirus restrictions from the government and eliminated the mask mandate.
Texas announced on March 2 that it would take effect March 10.
Immediately, Joe Biden slammed Abbott’s decision as “Neanderthal thinking.” From Fox News:
“We’ve been able to move that all the way up to the end of May to have enough [vaccines] for every American, to get every adult American to get a shot,” Biden told reporters from the White House earlier this month. “The last thing we need is the Neanderthal thinking.”

Proven BY REAL SCIENCE, in a huge experiment, that masks do NOT prevent Wuhan flu from spreading.
Remove the masks....the Wuhan flu STILL goes down. Masks are IRRELEVANT.

Joe knows all about Neanderthals. He was around when they were still alive.

Joey has ensured that TX experiences a huge uptick in CV-19 by putting all those illegal infected patients throughout the state. That's Joey's punishment for TX's actions.

What is the difference? Texas doesn't rely upon the Lysenko Scientist Dr. Anthony Fauci for guidance. Joe Biden does.

Why would anyone listen to this current government? They have thrown open the border, invited the world in and are busing them all over the country, and in the same breath, they are telling us to wear masks.

I could never understand that insistence upon masks when we go into establishments and touch things with our hands. Unless you sanitize your hands after touching every item, germs get spread around. Clearly, the mask was a test of our willingness to submit, and I believe we failed the test. You have to wonder what they have next in store for us. I also believe the lockdowns are a way to prevent us from socializing and discussing with one another the state of the country. Locked away in our homes without those occasions to interact keeps the unrest at a minimum.

If there is another outbreak, it will be from all the infected illegals turned loose on the nation.

The entire virus was a hoax. Biden, Obama, Harris and Rice can thank those Governors that pushed up the death rate by killing all those elderly in Nursing facilities to make this virus look deadly so that they could push the mail in ballot. You know, I could see one or two Governors ordering this stupid guidance in their state but most of the democrat Governors did it. It was planned and executed perfectly. Something also needs to be done with Frankenstein Fauci. Maybe a class action lawsuit.........

CV19 reminds me of nothing so much as Y2K. Y2K WAS a thing. It was the ginned-up fear of it, and the hysterical reaction to it that was the hoax. Ditto CV19. It even has the cutesy alphanumeric tag to throw around.

#6 nailed it. This was a test of government enforcement and our compliance through fear. We not only failed, we failed miserably. How easy it was and shockingly sustainable. It has been a year and we are still trailing around in these useless masks and social distancing. Oh how I have come to abhor that very phrase. I have reached the point where it saddens me to see everyone in masks and fearful of each other. “Science” has pretty much negated every bit of swill we have been fed. Come on America. Wise up! Stand taller. And while you are at it, burn your masks.

Unfortunately, the Governor can lift the Mandate, but unless he makes it mandatory that NO ONE in the State require Masks for entry to a Business, THEY still require it. FL had never had a Mask Mandate, but ALL of the stores I've been in require a Mask for entry. So, basically, they are giving the middle finger to the Governor and doing what they want anyway.

#11, in that situation the thing to do when told you have to wear a mask to enter is to tell them that you will be happy to spend your money elsewhere and then leave. Businesses are already struggling so if enough people were to do that, they would most likely rethink their mask policy.

Masks? Back last year, Tucker Carlson broke the news that a July CDC survey of people who tested positive included mask questions. Turns out 70% of those who tested positive ALWAYS wore masks and an additional 14% wore them MOST of the time. Other surveys show that 85% of all people were wearing masks as requested. Meaning that if you didn't wear masks all or most of the time, like 16% did, you were about 16% of the people who tested positive. If you wore masks all or most of the time, like 85% of the people did, you were 84% of those who tested positive.
QED...MASKS DID NOTHING.
It's that 'Science' thing. It's real.

We visited the kids in Fort Worth the other week, attended the local indoor rodeo and had a great time. No "social distancing." No masks.
And no COVID.

#6, I totally agree. I have carried a spray bottle of isopropyl alcohol whenever I go into a store or restaurant for the last year. After I leave, before I enter my car, I spray my hands, wipe down the outside of the bottle and then rub my alcohol-wet hands together until they dry.
THAT is a way to keep from spreading this virus if you go out. Masks are worthless.
