I'll say this for Shatner. He has fun, is open minded, he's reasonable and fearless. I believe this has less to do with his ego and more to do with something that is potentially challenging and fun.

I loved the old Star Trek series in the 60s and onward. He did a great job acting there. Since then....I haven't really watched his other shows. So, a fan of one of his most enduring characters, but not the others. I wish him well on his quest to preserve his 'information'. I doubt that much will really come of it.

Love Classic Star Trek. Shatner has had a long career. Been on Gunsmoke, Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock Presents to name a few. My favorite Shatner performance is as the prosecuting attorney for the North in Andersonville, a documentary about the trial of the commander of Andersonville Captain Wirz. Hope this escapes the woke types. https://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/24914

Sounds like Shatner. I thought immediately that he was an egotist the one time I met him. Rush has spoken well of him, so maybe not all bad (and those were his own horses in ST: Generations, which is pretty cool), so I guess it's mostly Kirk I don't care for. :)

The American people are getting visibly acclimated to a Kamala Harris presidency. A new directive from the White House is one of the most concrete developments that federal officials are getting warmed up for the Harris takeover, as well. Despite long-standing security protocols against the president and vice president traveling together, President Biden and Vice President Harris are virtually inseparable. They have even traveled on Air Force One together to a recent speaking event in Atlanta, although Biden himself was forbidden from doing so under the Biden administration.

Joe Biden boasted last fall from his basement that he had the best “voter fraud organization” in the country. We thought it was one of his typical malapropisms, but it turns out, he may not have been kidding around.Beginning last year, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook joined with Google and other high-tech companies and NGOs to grant hundreds of millions of dollars to fund already taxpayer-funded elections across the country, with the express purpose of defeating Donald Trump. A public-interest law group says those dollars were used to take over election offices and use local government apparatus to turn out Democrat voters to get rid of Trump.

The media didn’t wait for the facts when it came to the state of emergency issued by the city of Miami Beach, Florida. They would like you to believe it was a COVID-19 issue, with everyone from CNN to VOX slapping the big red panic button on the “DeSantis-presented” super spreader event. It wasn’t that at all. The city issued curfews and issued a state of emergency because, as one Twitter thread thoroughly shows you, the young crowds had gotten so rowdy and violent that authorities had to shut it down. Why can’t the media just say that? As you’ll see, it’s because the crowd that was primarily causing the problems

Republicans are poised to retake the House due to redistricting alone. That and the historical fact that the first midterm for a newly minted president is almost always a bloodbath has Democrats dreading what looks to be coming. That’s why you see such a push to get rid of the filibuster now. Democrats know they are on borrowed time, and they want to push through what they can now.
