Uri Segal was playing gin rummy with his family several years ago when his 16-year-old daughter Maayan asked him a question: Why is the king worth more than the queen? The question has turned into a full-blown deck of cards, "Queeng," now in its second edition. The cards feature multi-ethnic figures, and men and women are equal. Playing cards aren't the only thing that's gotten a makeover. Just when I was starting to remember the rules of Chess, its going to get an “equity” overhaul. Or will chess be banished for being too white? That line up of dolls looks like the people my parents told me to avoid.

Chess must be outlawed. White plays first. King is more valuable than the Queen. Right white square is basis for initial piece placement. Too religious. Too chivalrous (knights). Too militant (Castles). And too class stratified (pawns). Worse of all too many Whites and Asians play the game.

In chess the queen is the most powerful piece on the board. Granted, when the King is checkmated or captured that’s game, but in terms of power, it’s the queen.

This isn't "gender neutral", since gender is an artificial construct. As male and female are biological realities designating ones sex, it's really "sex-neutral".

1 king can can have 10 warriors by 10 queens in a year. 1 queen can have only 1 warrior by 10 kings in one year. Rather ancient concept. Math is hard.

In chess, the Queen has more power than the King. It moves all over the board. The King just moves one place at a time and is pretty much a goner if she is taken. Long live the Queen.

I have been expecting outrage about the simple card game "Old Maid". About chess: The King could be renamed the Treasure. And the Queen could be named the Protector. Then the objective would be to capture the Treasure. I offer two solutions to the Black and White problem. (1) have both sides make a move at the same time. That might seem confusing but a government hotline can be created to clarify any problems 24/7. Or, (2) just make a rule that White can never win.

WOKE is no more than refusing to believe anything that happened before the woke person was younger than 14. And in addition, anyone who has read the History of England in the 15th and 16th Century knows why the King is worth more than the Queen.

That daughter will end up living in her parent's basement for decades after getting a useless "women's studies" degree in college and never qualifying for a real job. When my kids would ask me stupid questions, I would simply hold up 4 fingers. They knew that meant "life is not fair" (LINF), and would sulk off. But now that they are adults, they all have good degrees, no college debt, and great jobs (especially the one daughter who is a stay-at-home-mommy now -- the best job in the world). And they have all admitted that that lesson, LINF, actually prepared them for life in the "real world"!!!

Why is the king worth more than the queen? A king can make his wife, even a woman without rank, a queen, but a queen cannot make her husband, even if he is a born prince, a king.

President Biden, along with leading Democrats on Capitol Hill, started the year with the choice between two paths to govern. The first route, which I have strongly urged my party to take, is characterized with bipartisanship. Democrats carry this incredible opportunity to consolidate their power by reaching out to moderate Republicans to achieve legislative compromises at a time when Republicans are deeply fractured. This route would lead to further friction, however, with the growing progressive wing. It is clear that Biden and Democrats have chosen the second route, which involves embracing liberal policies and using their power to push through

You might have noticed that you've been shelling out more for things like houses, gas, and cars. And it's been hard to get your hands on things like fitness gear, sofas, and roller skates. That's because America is reopening to a more expensive economy than the one that existed pre-pandemic. For now, it has a lot to do with a shortage of materials that manufacturers need to make these things. When supply is low, prices climb for manufacturers, and consumers end up paying more for the end product. The materials shortage has to do with several factors. The work-from-home economy
