If you needed a reminder that the swamp is alive and well, look no further than the recent vote by the House Republican Conference to bring pork-barrel spending back to Congress. Egged on, no doubt, by the special interests that fund their campaigns, 102 Republicans—who identify as conservatives when campaigning—just decided to undo one of the biggest accomplishments of the Tea Party era. Now, Senate Republicans are similarly considering a proposal to follow suit.
If this isn’t a sign that Congressional Republicans need new leadership in Washington, I don’t know what is. The good news is that a new group of freshman Republicans who are taking Washington by storm

Fake news imitates reality, as mainstream media competes with itself in distorting what happened in Atlanta. The commentary surrounding the Atlanta shooting appears to be more fake than actor Jussie Smollett’s insane hoax(Snip)
just as nearly everyone who was not wilfully blind saw through Smollett’s terrible acting, the media’s “white racism” angle on the horrifying Atlanta murders exceeded reductio ad absurdum levels.
What made the professional Left—now featuring Asian American elites—explode with gleeful fury was the emergence of a perfect racist enemy—a white, male, religious zealot who had just purchased the murder weapon. Such a perpetrator now justifies Asian American elites, who tack hard Left, to ignore the unpleasant

Last week in Anchorage, Alaska, Chinese diplomats dressed down Biden Administration Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. Both seem stunned by the Chinese broadsides.
Apparently, as elite Americans readily confess to inherent white supremacy and racism—highlighting the complaints of BLM and Antifa—the Chinese are happy to agree that such admittedly toxic Americans should not dare to criticize China’s racist policies.
Not since newly elected President John Kennedy was humiliated at the Cold War Vienna summit in June 1961 by USSR strongman Nikita Khrushchev have American diplomats been so roughly manhandled by a Communist government.(Snip)If China gives out money, it logically believes it owns the recipient.

Republican Senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski voted with the Democrats in the senate to confirm Rachael Levine as Asst. Secretary of Health and Human services, despite the abhorrent job Levine did while Health Secretary for Pennsylvania during the COVID crisis.Last month Senator Rand Paul questioned Levine during the confirmation hearing, and exposed the radical agenda behind the nominee.
Despite the terrible job in Pennsylvania, and despite the radical outlook toward gender reassignment for teens, the UniParty found a way to continue supporting the far-left. (Snip) Before the vote, Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., urged her colleagues to support Levine’s nomination, calling her a “trusted voice” for Pennsylvanians

Interesting that Reuters would outline the walk-backs. Even more interesting that the details of the walk-backs seem to prove the DOJ never actually intended to win any of these cases, but rather wanted to advance a political narrative about extremists through their earlier statements. The approach of building a political narrative through false accusations and over-charging in the DOJ is the essence of Lawfare. The government has endless taxpayer resources to fuel their political weaponization of the judiciary. The process of the charges then becomes the punishment by design. The targets are drained financially, sometimes physically detained under false pretense, and then the DOJ walks backwards when

“Rahm Emanuel, call your office. You said it—‘Never let a serious crisis go to waste!’ And we got one, baby—two white supremacists shooting up the joint in Atlanta and Boulder. The president’s into it already. Bye-bye assault weapons and those thousand round mags Hollywood lefties love to show off in their movies. We might even get ‘im to ban cap guns by executive order. … What? He wasn’t a white supremacist? His name was Al-what? … Like Al Ky-Duh? …

A slide used in a Department of Defense (DOD) training manual identifies Catholics and evangelical Christians as “religious extremists,” along with members of the Ku Klux Klan, al-Qaeda, and Hamas, according to a Marine Corps officer.
“First Liberty also obtained a screenshot of an unclassified slide from a U.S. Army training manual. The slide is entitled ‘Religious Extremism’ and it purports to identify religious extremists,” Michael Berry told the House Armed Services Committee, during a hearing on March 24 titled “Extremism in the Military.”
Berry is general counsel to the First Liberty Institute (FLI), a Plano, Texas-based public interest law firm that specializes in First Amendment and religious freedom cases.

Infrastructure spending is usually a popular proposal. Between potholes down the street and reports of crumbling bridges, Americans tend to agree that America’s infrastructure needs work. An infrastructure spending bill floated by Democrats, however, is shaping up to be something else entirely—maybe even superfluous, according to an infrastructure policy expert.
Major federal infrastructure spending was originally justified as a national defense issue. The interstate system was to secure expedient troop movement, for instance. But those days are long gone. Today’s bipartisan support for such spending stems from political expediency.

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) confirmed reports it is investigating President Joe Biden’s move in January to freeze construction of the border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
Former President Donald Trump, who made border wall construction a key 2016 campaign promise, started building the wall amid legal battles and fights with Congress. On his first day in office, Biden used his executive authority to stop building the wall even after Congress approved $1.4 billion for the measure as part of a $900 billion stimulus package bill to offset losses incurred by the COVID-19 pandemic in December.

The suspect in the mass shooting in Boulder, Colorado had a short temper and was violent, according to former sports teammates.
Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, 21, “was kind of scary to be around,” Dayton Marvel, who was on a wrestling team with the suspect, told the Denver Post.
Alissa once threatened to kill people during an especially heated moment, Marvel said.(Snip)“He would talk about him being Muslim and how if anybody tried anything, he would file a hate crime and say they were making it up,” (Snip). “It was a crazy deal. There is no evidence at all after 60 days of the new administration, of any disposition to collaborate with moderate Republicans in a centrist response to the many policy challenges the administration faces. President Biden remains the man who said of the hooliganism at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, that it was a “white supremacist” attack bungled by “white supremacist” Capitol police and directly incited by the outgoing president in an effort to overturn an election result which the Democrats,(Snip) represent as an unquestionably fair electoral outcome. Boulder, Colorado, law enforcement have named the suspect in the King Sooper’s grocery store shooting yesterday. The shooter is 21-year-old Ahmad al-Aliwi Alissa.WASHINGTON POST – Ten people killed at a Colorado grocery store, including a Boulder police officer, have been identified, as has the 21-year-old rifle-wielding shooter.(Snip). They offered no details on a suspected motive. (link)
And just like that the media will drop the story, because the shooter is not a white male and subsequently his race and ethnicity does not align with the preferred narrative for gun control suspects.
