A science professor told students that Fox News is not a credible source for news, though The New York Times and CNN are.An ecology professor at the University of Georgia asked students to refrain from using Fox News as a source for a writing assignment, according to emails obtained by the Young America’s Foundation (YAF). Professor Scott Connelly suggested that his students use sources such as CNN and The New York Times instead.“For this assignment, please do an internet search or rely on information from reliable news sources that you already read (factually reliable news sources include media such as BBC, CNN, NYTimes, ABCNews, etc.

Obviously The Onion is the most reliable source of all of them.

I do not consider Fox News a reliable source since they were part of the Coup d’état that fraudulently removed Donald Trump. Have not watched them since November 4, and well pleased about it. Never forget.

Nothing new.
My daughter came home from college in 2006 and informed us that her professor had told the class that Fox News was merely entertaining fiction. CNN was hard news.

Sounds like the professor is unreliable. His students would be wise to look elsewhere for instruction.

I don’t recall any professors ever telling students what sources to use. Part of education is finding source material on your own and the prof is supposed to be intelligent enough to evaluate your sourcing. Sounds to me like this fellow was brainwashed himself.

What kind of “science” course would accept ANY tv news as a source. I see it’s an “Ecology” course, so it’s closer to voodoo and phrenology than to physics and chemistry.

So ecology teachers are experts on local world events? I never knew that. Another reason for shutting down public colleges that teach liberal arts. Useless,

I didn't know 'ecology' was a science. It probably involves the generation of wealth from government grants.

The professor has swallowed the Marxist Communist democrat, republicrat GOPe, Marxist Communist One World Government brainwashing all of his life. He is just one of the following simpletons.
Remember non Marxist Communist Americans it was the Marxist Communist democrats, and the republicrats GOPe, lead by Barry Soetoro who told the Russians to tell Putin that he can be more flexible in dealing with Russia after his re-election.
- Gavin Nascimento, 1928
"The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read or write, but those who cannot unlearn the many lies that they have been conditioned to believe, and not seek out the hidden knowledge that they have been conditioned to reject."
Pravda provided Propaganda from the Marxist Communist democrats, republicrats GOPe, from their first day in government controlled school.
America is full of these simpletons.
