Union to act if jobs promised to Avon Lake
Ford plant go to Mexico

United Auto Workers is promising to act on behalf of Ford employees of Local 2000 if jobs promised for the Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake are sent to Mexico. [SNIP] UAW stated it gained commitments from Ford in 2019 for the plant, including an investment of $900 million and a next generation product to be added in 2023. UAW said Ford will not honor its commitment and intends to build a next generation vehicle in Mexico.

Comments:

President Trump forced Ford to build this new auto plant in Ohio, but Biden is doing absolutely nothing to stop the move. With Biden, jobs head south to Mexico, while illegals head north from Mexico.

Why should they build in the US and add more jobs under Pres. Biden? So they can pay more taxes, be penalized for success, be forced to pay ridiculous wages and benefits? Have to comply with unreasonable environmental regulations due to fake global warming? The Union needs to blame the job hating Democrats for this change. Elections have consequences!

Too bad the union tools voted democrat, as usual. Not that their votes made much difference in 2020, where Biden would have received 90 million votes to compensate.

Well, I believe those in charge at FORD are DEMOCRATS. So, if they feel they can go against the agreement, it's because they feel Biden won't do anything about it because he's weak! So, the Union will Strike! Don't think that would have happened under a Trump Administration. You Reap what you Sow!

Two things every UAW member needs to understand: 1) Democrats are very bad for your personal financial condition. 2) Your UAW Leadership is in bed with the Democrats. The best solution is to change how you vote for both political leadership and union leadership.

I think I read ,recently, that a new F-150 rolls of the assembly line every 90 seconds. I'll wager that a very small percentage of those are union made.

When former President Donald Trump was asked to list those he considers the future leaders of the Republican Party, he quickly rattled off names including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Sens. The call follows actions taken by several states to lift mask requirements earlier this month and ease business restrictions, such as Texas and Mississippi, which drew sharp criticism amid early-stage vaccine rollouts and the spread of highly transmissible coronavirus variants.
