The Official Outrage Over Tucker
Carlson's Critique of Joe Biden's Military
Shows Just How Lost Our Military Is

Original Article

Friday, Tucker Carlson kicked off a firestorm. His monologue focused n the barking shambles that Joe Biden has made of the Department of Defense in less than two months. His theme was the degree to which the Biden bunch is focusing on making the military a test bed for woke orthodoxy and putting combat readiness, particularly readiness to confront Joe Biden’s paymasters in Beijing, in its rearview mirror. He took, as a point of departure, Biden’s mumblings on the occasion of “International Women’s Day.” Carlson’s strongest point was directed at Biden’s decision to appoint a secretary of defense who is not only beholden to the defense industry but a rabid partisan

Comments:

If you haven't watched the video of Tucker's monologue, here it is. It is Tucker at his best, focused and lethal.

The military is supposed to kill people and break things. Not a job for a woman. What good is a feminist military? Peace keeping? The military is not a career path.

Remember LTC Vidman's criticism of POTUS? He was reassigned, then allowed to retire when he should be breaking rocks at Leavenworth. There is no discipline nor reliable chain of command in an armed forces which allows open criticism of the CinC..

I served from 81-91. I've been out for 30 years so I can't speak to current affairs in the military. Even in the 80's, the Navy was getting "woke". Not all of it bad. And the military has always been ground zero in social experimentation. Again, not all of it bad. I do have to draw the line at tax payer funded sex changes and maternity flight suits. I'm actually ok with women in combat. So long as everyone understands that "most" women will not be able to keep up with "most" men in combat.

My daughter is an Intel Specialist in the USMC. Watching her graduate from Parris Island was one of the proudest moments of my life. That was 3 years ago. And, I come from a family who has served in the Air Force (dad), Army (uncle and son-in-law), and Navy (cousin), and other relatives going back through the generations. I have always been a proud supporter of the military. I am truly saddened and appalled by what the military is rapidly deteriorating into, and how much it has changed in just these 3 years since my daughter's graduation. :(

From the responses coming from the high up Biden appointed and loving “woke” military “leaders” and the fake media, it is for sure that Carlson as hit the Biden crew’s GI Jane nerve. Military promotions should be based upon individual accomplishments and qualifications, and not gender, fake gender, or politically favored race or ethnicity. No doubt there are very accomplished and qualified women in the military who passed all the gender neutral physical tests and other qualifying factors, the promotions should go to them and not others who were deficient in military accomplishments and qualifications, because of their gender, fake gender, favored race or ethnicity. For the most part the “woke” politicians, both civilian and military, who are pushing for the unqualified to be promoted in the military, are the last people in the country who would join the military in any emergency, and certainly would not encourage their family members to join the military. With them it is all political.

Speaking of women-in-combat, I have long wondered how the IDF explains to the Almighty about their having women in combat roles. My mom could have organized WWII if given that chance. She'd be 109 today if still with us. Women make excellent ''brass,'' but nobody would have given her a gun and put her in a fox hole!

Tucker Carlson is absolutely correct. Democrats are ALWAYS trying to tear down the military. None of them have ever served so much as a day, and probably couldn't complete basic training or qualify with a basic infantry weapon. Their constant push for women in every job, including combat assignments, is a prescription for disaster. I was a teenage Marine NCO in Vietnam; most of the time in the field, we lived like animals. We shrugged it off - but we wouldn’t have subjected a woman to those conditions; we respected women back then. My son is the first member of my lineage in five generations that didn’t serve in the armed forces, and the first in four generations that didn’t fight in a war. I’m glad he didn’t get involved in the mess that today’s military has become.

The military today has a primary mission of sucking up excess manpower in the economy, particularly those with few skills. It occasionally fights skirmishes with shepherds and other assorted disorganized threats, winning the "war", bungling the peace, begging to stay in perpetuity as "nation builders" and "security trainers", or it will all have been in vain. And it buys stuff in huge quantities helping to fuel our economy, especially during hard times. We should be following Washington's advice...

This administration is aligning all the branches of government against the people and the founding documents that protect them from the government, Evil is as evil does and this administration is evil and lost spiritually. It has lost its way and is trying to convince itself it is right and you are wrong. They know what is best for you, you don't. But the real enemy to them, is not you, it is God and by association, God's representatives. They are the ones this administration hates the most. They are the ones that know the truth, that know right from wrong and won't succumb to their perverted version of morality. They are the ones who oppose the New World Order and the destruction of America so it can become a part of it. They are the ones who resist the Left's destruction of marriage and family by redefining what God created and defined. They are the ones who reject favoritism based on race, color, sex, class, equity, etc. They are the ones who reject the wholesale destruction of the unborn, and the selling of their organs for corporate profits. They are the ones who support our constitution and founding documents while promoting smaller government and more rights for the individual. They are the ones who believe our rights come from GOD, not MAN. In every way, the Left is in opposition to God and therefore, in opposition to what is right and good and those who live it.

Biden didn't start this decline. It was Obama and he had eight years to initiate this slow moving destruction of the independence of the military. Biden is just a useful idiot who will be kicked to the curb as soon as he has served his purpose in giving enough time for Obama to regain full control again.

It is conceivable that the United States might have had a worse government health care official in charge of informing and advising the citizenry than Anthony Fauci, longtime head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, during the past 13 months as the nation struggled to come to grips with COVID-19. But it is hard to imagine. (Snip) Over the past year, Dr. Fauci has personally discredited the parts of government that are meant to be apolitical. Money from the founder of Facebook touted as being for safe elections during the pandemic may have affected the outcome of the presidential race in Arizona by driving up Democrat turnout, according to a government watchdog report. The grant from Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan focused more on “voter education” than personal protective equipment to guard against COVID-19, the report says. The Zuckerbergs gave a total of $350 million to the Center for Tech and Civic Life, a left-leaning technology group, that in turn issued grants to 2,500 election offices in 49 states.

March 22 is the birthday of the iconic writer Louis L’Amour, a man whose name became synonymous with the American frontier and whose novels promoted old-fashioned patriotism and morality. America sorely misses his kind. L’Amour was born in Jamestown, North Dakota, a farm town, in 1908. He was largely self-educated. As a youth, L’Amour spent many hours at the town library studying history and science and imbibing the fiction of Robert Louis Stevenson, Jack London, and Edgar Rice Burroughs.

In the early hours of March 12, FBI agents in southwestern Florida barricaded a neighborhood to prepare to raid the home of one resident. Christopher Worrell of Cape Coral was arrested and charged with several counts related to the January 6 Capitol melee. Even though Worrell had been cooperating with the FBI for two months, the agency nonetheless unleashed a massive, and no doubt costly, display of force to take him into custody. The raid included “armed men with helmets and a tanker truck” and was partially executed by the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force.

President Biden fired Equal Employment Opportunity Commission general counsel Sharon Fast Gustafson on Friday after she declined to resign under pressure from the White House. “At the time I was nominated, I was asked if I would commit to do my best to fulfill my four-year term, and I answered yes,” Gustafson said in a letter to Biden. “Unless prevented from doing so, I intend to honor that commitment. I have confidently given this advice to countless embattled clients of the last 25 years: hold your head high, do your best work, and do not resign under pressure. Much of the daily conversation on social media is consumed by ephemera. (Snip) It's all fine to think about, as long as you don't devote too much mental bandwidth to it and don't forget that there are some enormous things happening in our politics right now. The fact is, the Biden administration, despite its tenuous holds on the House and Senate, is working to make far-reaching changes to American life. Two of the biggest -- and two that could combine to create a crisis -- are the COVID relief bill, which the president will sign into law tomorrow, and immigration. One year ago, I tweeted: “This is what the Left wants. They want people stripped of wealth, isolated, and terrified. They want sources of joy—church, sporting events, vacations, large social gatherings—eliminated. This is how they get control. And it’s far scarier than any virus.” It was not a popular sentiment at the time. My initial reaction to government-ordered lockdowns, promoted by politicians on both sides and President Trump, was in the slim minority to say the least. “Flattening the curve” required deep personal sacrifices, we were warned. When the COVID-19 pandemic started and lockdowns became part of our daily lives, some romantic souls were predicting that this would produce a baby boom. Now, as the data shows up, we see exactly the opposite. CBS obtained data from health departments in over two dozen states that shows “a 7% drop in births in December—nine months after the first lockdowns began.” Research from the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., predicts that births may well be down 300,000 to 500,000 in 2021. The prediction is based on a negative correlation between birth rates and the unemployment rate. Higher unemployment means fewer babies.

Had Trump remained president, his legacy would have included making true peace in the Middle East. This would have encompassed Sunni Arab nations laying down arms as to Israel, while Iran would have been rendered inconsequential – and, perhaps, the beleaguered Iranian people might have been able to eject the mullahs. With Biden, though, Obama pulls the strings, which means wooing the mullahs, being hostile to Israel, and denigrating the Saudis. Nevertheless, some amazing Saudi outreach to Israel means Trump’s Middle East peace plans still matter. Trump’s genius in terms of the Middle East was to ignore the Palestinians into oblivion.
