The Officer who shot Ashli Babbit reportedly said Ashli’s backpack factored into him killing her. But what was actually inside Ashli’s backpack? (Snip) So does wearing a backpack give an officer an excuse to shoot you dead now?
In a public statement made by the Police Officers’ Attorney, Mark Schamel, he states the backpack Ashli was wearing compounded the Officers fears.

The shooter's name remains withheld, right? The guy with the white starched cuffs and shiny cufflinks. Who is said to have claimed he saw no police in the hallway behind the woman he shot. Sooner or later we'll learn who is keeping his name withheld, and why. But not soon enough.

I still want to know why we aren't learning more about the shooter. He is turning into one of Washington's most closely guarded secrets. There is something very damning about this. No transparency here. More like a brick wall. Why can't they talk about this police officer?

He couldn’t see her backpack.
I saw the full video that began with her walking through the group of men in front of that hallway door. She was very small. She found a man to boost her on his back - he was thus below and in front of her as she was at the broken glass door pane. Only the upper part of the tall glass pane was broken out, leaving half of the sharp broken glass in place in the bottom of the frame. The shooter came out on an oblique angle from the left, very close to the door, and shot across the doorway toward her. He did not come all the way out. All that could be seen sere his arms and hands gripping the gun. Then he fired. Her head was not through the glass. One early witness said she had wanted to get up high and put her cellphone camera through the broken part of the glass pane. It is amazing that the man who was holding her on his back wasn’t shot as well.

It was reckless to go into the Capitol building in a rush of people who could have evoked fear in the occupants. Doing so was probably an impulse on Ashli Babbit’s part rather than a decision. However, she had no reasonable expectation that the Capitol Police were so inept that trespassing would cost her her life.
What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. If Derek Chauvin or Darren Wilson or George Zimmerman, etc. can be pilloried for justifiable homicides or no evidence of homicide at all (Chauvin) then the lawmakers, who are eagerly turning the country into a battlefield, and their assistants including security, should be held to at least as high a standard. Who shot Ashli Babbitt and why aren’t they being prosecuted? Trespassing is not a capital crime.

They did admit that he was a Capitol Police lieutenant and black. His hands and wrists below his white cuffs were clearly black. He wore a bead bracelet - alternating groups of black and white beads.

It's a dumb person who goes into the building in that fashion with a mob. I wouldn't have if I was there. I watched the video from much of what Gateway Pundit posted and those were fake Trump supporters. I believe Pelosi and the left wanted a shooting death in the Capital to blame on Trump to impeach him. All this was planned just like the fence, razor wire and barriers are the props of the left to condemn Trump and supporters. Ashli Babbitt was stupid to be there in the midst of incompetent police. The three standing in the doorway just walked away as the shooting happened.

Until we have a name, this anonymous Police Lieutenant could be anyone - even a fake cop who infiltrated the Capitol ahead of the incident. We only know Pelosi's gang SAID it was a Capitol Police Lieutenant. Maybe they're withholding his name because he was actually a Democrat Congress Critter's privately hired armed guard! We don't know and no one has ID'd him.
The fact that it has taken them over a month to come out with an excuse for the shooting, makes it sound more like a desperate search through focus groups to find one that sounds palatable. I hold Pelosi and company complicit of this woman's murder.

They know who he is. It has already been reported that he is on “administrative leave”, hiding out in fear for his own life. The notion that they don’t know exactly who he is is absurd.

He was concerned about her backpack because he heard there were pipe bombs nearby- so he shot at someone with a potential bomb on them. Doesn’t seem like a good idea to me. Has it ever been pipe bombers MO to carry them around in a crowd that would make their retreat difficult?

If a black cop kills an unarmed white women, do we get to paint WLM all over the streets in big cities?
Do we get to demand justice, do we get to demand that blacks say her name, and do we get to peacefully protest by burning and looting buildings and business's? Would the shooting put a damper on Garland trying to convict conservatives who were at the capitol that day. Would it possibly ruin the floyd case in Minn.? Info is being withheld for a reason, other then the fact that it took this long to come up with a lie about the shooting.

A wool sweater?
Hey - - isn't that animal cruelty - - shearing the hair off an innocent creature - - just for our own convenience? If it were left up to animal rights activists - - everyone who owned a wool sweater would be executed. Sheep are people too!

"Wool sweater and a scarf" does not fit the Marxist narrative so it's time to adjust history with a little gas lighting again. They will say the sweater had what looked like White Supremacist markings and the scarf appeared to possibly be wrapped around an assault pistol, which she seemed to be reaching for, and she was thought to have screamed racial slurs at the officer.

We may never know his name. The government will pay the parents and husband (why haven't we heard from him?) a fortune to make this go away. And they'll take it.

As not to lose sight of Ashli Babbitt, I'll suggest it was a favorite sweater of Ashli's, having it with her gave comfort knowing she could warm up if need be and look good doing it.

He did not see the backpack as it was on her back that was behind her and away from the officer. Even if he did, he is asking that everyone believe that he processed all the information in the article in seconds and come up with the conclusion that there was a bomb in the backpack. That is not a legitimate reason for a experienced police officer, remember they say that he is a lieutenant, to shoot to kill an unarmed person.

He had no basis for shooting her. The backpack story is an after-the-fact excuse. And did he really think a small white woman was a suicide bomber? Many others breached the Capitol building in other locations but no cop was scared enough to shoot anyone. There were many police right behind Ms. Babbitt. None thought to shoot her as she started to climb through the window. The cop who shot her acted rashly and didn't take less deadly steps he could have, like moving away from the doors and calling for back up.
