MSNBC host Joy Reid claimed that Fox News reporter Kristin Fisher is “afraid of these brown people” because Fisher asked Press Secretary Jen Psaki whether the Biden administration plans to limit the number of abandoned foreign children accepted illegally into the United States at the border.U.S. border officials are currently taking in approximately 565 such children per day, and border facilities are up to 700 percent beyond capacity with children used by drug cartels as a lucrative ticket to U.S. entry. On Wednesday, NBC News reported the Biden administration has imposed what amounts to a media blackout at the southwest border amid a worsening crisis.
Border Patrol agents, including sector chiefs and press officers, are under an unofficial gag order not to answer questions from the press, according to four current and two former Customs and Border Protection officials who spoke to NBC News on condition of anonymity.
Federal officials along the border, they say, have been verbally instructed—there is no official memo, no paper-trail—to deny all press requests for ride-alongs and refer all media inquiries

A New York nursing home administrator has reportedly admitted that he and other administrators in the state were “petrified” when Gov. Andrew Cuomo ordered coronavirus patients to be funneled into their facilities last spring. In an exclusive interview with Fox News reportedly set to air Thursday, administrator Michael Kraus said that “many facilities” expressed concern and were “petrified” of what might happen but were even “more petrified of the Department of Health.” He apparently felt the same, because he only tried raising the issue once, but to no avail.“Once it was shot down, I never spoke [about it] again,” he said in the segment set to air on “America Reports” Thursday.

At the 2012 Republican National Convention, Mitt Romney was a few minutes behind schedule to take the podium and accept the nomination for president. In the long walk from his private room through the corridor and behind the stage, the genteel Mitt kept whispering “Excuse me” as he wiggled his way through well-wishers or just bystanders. The uber-polite Mitt just wouldn’t move any faster, along with his equally polite security. And Donald Trump? At a European Union conference with all the heads of state from those countries big and small it was picture time as presidents and prime ministers jousted for the premier photo op.
