I have worked for the royal family

As a deputy lord lieutenant, I am a personal representative of Her Majesty the Queen in the English county of Nottinghamshire. I am also an Islamic scholar and translator of the Quran. I am intensely proud of my Britishness, my faith, and my South Asian heritage. In the 10 years I have spent representing the royal family, they have been nothing but respectful of my background. The notion that they are racist is simply out of touch with reality. This is not to delegitimize Meghan Markle’s experience, or to belittle the inevitable difficulties of someone adapting to royal life — to an existence based on duty, not stardom.

Honestly, what did these two hope to gain? I am sure Charles is embarrassed and hurt by this. He is thinking this is just like being married to Diana. What next?

With his and her very tentative claim of Royal Family racism, while exempting Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip, it is clear that Harry and Meghan were targeting Harry’s father Prince Charles, and Harry’s brother Prince William, as those are the two adult Royal Family members who will be the next two Kings of England and who are standing between Harry and Meghan becoming the King and Queen of England. It is not unusual in English history for wars to have been started over the same issue minus the alleged racial factor. Chances are both Charles and William are the adults who warned Harry that there was bound to be trouble if he married an American actress who was culturally not in tune with the traditions by which the Royal Family are duty bound to follow. Clearly Harry is a nut job who needs a check up from the neck up as is Meghan who talked about her uncertain mental health and her contemplating suicide. Remember before hooking up with Harry, Meghan was a b-list Hollywood type actress who has been through the mill in her life, with little understanding of the hundreds of years of tradition behind the British monarchy, where family members are granted a Royal title and high and respected social status in return for them performing public duties and service while taking on a lot of responsibilities along the way. Harry was not to smart submitting himself to being interviewed by a very liberal entertainment personality such as Oprah Winfrey, who was bound to draw him into a supposed racial issue in an effort to trash the Royal Family and Harry’s home country by orchestrating a bogus race card. Meghan is now stuck with Harry, as without him and his Royal mantra, Meghan will just revert back to being a b-list actress, a species of person that is very common in and around Hollywood. You got to feel sorry for little boy Archie and his yet unborn sister who as it stands now will never get to know Harry’s and Meghan’s biological family members.

“T-Bone” lives in the progressive Imaginarium. Senator Cory Booker (D-N.J.) conjured him up as his fake pal from the ’hood. The “Bone” would now and then materialize to prep the yuppie Booker on his street cred. “T” was the umbilical cord of authenticity with the underprivileged black community for Booker—the vegetarian, Rhodes scholar, Stanford- and Yale-educated, privileged child of two IBM executives. “Corn-pop” also resides in the Imaginarium. Good ol’ Joe Biden from Scranton occasionally would summon the “Pop.” Supposedly he was one tough, African American, razor-wielding gangster that the youthful Mighty Joe Biden won over.

The Democratic Party is the party of vote fraud. Yes, this is quite a charge, but abundant evidence confirms this allegation. •Democrats resist virtually every Republican idea to make America’s elections more secure, and they labor tirelessly to make this country’s elections more chaotic, more unsupervised, and more unreliable. Democrats used COVID-19 as an excuse to dilute voting standards that would make the citizens of almost any Third World country blush.•Democrats, not Republicans, blasted out mass-mail-in ballots to everyone on voter rolls in multiple states — whether requested or not. Among other places, these phantom ballots littered apartment-building lobbies in Las Vegas, where Democrat officials in Clark County,

Wednesday afternoon, the Democratic majority in the House passed HR 1319. Variously marketed as a “pandemic relief bill,” an “economic stimulus package,” and the “American Rescue Plan,” it is largely a wealth transfer from well-managed and prosperous red states to incompetently managed blue states. A mere 9 percent of the legislation’s $1.9 trillion cost will be devoted to mitigating COVID-19, and about 12 percent will go to individuals in the form of stimulus checks and unemployment payments. The rest will go to blue state bailouts, funding for school systems that remain closed, kickbacks to unions, new subsidies for Obamacare, and exorbitant financing for innumerable pet progressive projects.

It’s convenient for Democrats that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s scandal has shifted from him sentencing more than 15,000 seniors to death by allowing COVID-19 patients access to nursing homes to “Me-too” allegations. Convenient because Democratic governors in Michigan, New Jersey, Illinois and Pennsylvania followed the same disastrous coronavirus practices in their nursing homes and would more likely be held accountable by their constituents if it received more air-time by the national media. Broadcast news networks ABC, CBS and NBC have spent nearly three times as much coverage on allegations from several women that Mr. Cuomo sexually harassed them in recent years than they did on his nursing home scandal,

Twice in the last six weeks, warnings were issued about imminent, grave threats to public safety posed by the same type of right-wing extremists who rioted at the Capitol on January 6. And both times, these warnings ushered in severe security measures only to prove utterly baseless. First we had the hysteria over the violence we were told was likely to occur at numerous state capitols on Inauguration Day. “Law enforcement and state officials are on high alert for potentially violent protests in the lead-up to Inauguration Day, with some state capitols boarded up and others temporarily closed ahead of Wednesday's ceremony,” announced CNN. When the Republican governors of Texas and Mississippi announced that they planned to lift their statewide COVID-19 restrictions, including mask mandates, President Biden accused them of “Neanderthal thinking.” Yet, despite the president’s repeated assurances that his coronavirus policies would “follow the science,” it’s clear that neither he nor his advisers have bothered to compare the mortality statistics of states with stringent mask mandates to those with no statewide mandates. As it happens, the average number of COVID-19 deaths per 100,000 residents in the knuckle-dragger states is about half that of those whose governors still impose strict mask mandates, according to statistics provided by the New York Times.

Leaders of the effort to recall California Gov. Gavin Newsom said Sunday they've collected 1.95 million signatures a little more than a week before the deadline, a number they believe will be more than enough to trigger a special recall election.County and state elections officials still need to verify that nearly 1.5 million are valid signatures from registered California voters before the recall can qualify for the ballot. But recall supporters said Sunday that they're confident they've collected enough. The most recent signature verification numbers from the Secretary of State's Office found that about 83% of the signatures counted by early February were valid.

It has now been nearly a year since “public health experts” began appearing on television talk shows insisting that, to survive COVID-19, the nation would have to pursue unprecedented mitigation policies. They told us that our salvation required draconian measures such as school closures, stay-at-home orders, and business lockdowns. Moreover, we were advised not to expect a fast return to our normal lives. In early April 2020, for example, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel solemnly assured us, “We will not be able to return to normalcy until we find a vaccine…. We need to prepare ourselves for this to last 18 months or so and for the toll that it will take.”

The treatment, a mixture of drugs bamlanivimab and etesevimab, was developed by Indianapolis-based Lilly and the Canadian company AbCellera. It recognizes the virus once a person is infected and attaches to it, preventing the pathogen from entering human cells, and therefore neutralizing it. In trial data released on Wednesday, Eli Lilly said the combination reduced the risk of hospitalization and death by 87 percent compared to a placebo. The results are an improvement of an earlier study of the combination, which reduced the risk of hospitalization and death by 70 percent.

When the COVID-19 pandemic started and lockdowns became part of our daily lives, some romantic souls were predicting that this would produce a baby boom. Now, as the data shows up, we see exactly the opposite. CBS obtained data from health departments in over two dozen states that shows “a 7% drop in births in December—nine months after the first lockdowns began.” Research from the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., predicts that births may well be down 300,000 to 500,000 in 2021. The prediction is based on a negative correlation between birth rates and the unemployment rate. Higher unemployment means fewer babies.
