Carbon dioxide emissions must fall by the equivalent of a global lockdown roughly every two years for the next decade for the world to keep within safe limits of global heating, research has shown. Lockdowns around the world led to an unprecedented fall in emissions of about 7% in 2020, or about 2.6bn tonnes of CO2, but reductions of between 1bn and 2bn tonnes are needed every year of the next decade to have a good chance of holding temperature rises to within 1.5C or 2C of pre-industrial levels, as required by the Paris agreement. Research published on Wednesday shows

No more fuel powered machines! We must all become hunter-gatherers again.
Except hunting has been canceled - - so from now on - - only gathering is permitted - - provided we all wear double masks while we're gathering.
Seems like a good plan to me.

The U.S. is, I guess, the only country on planet earth to beat the goals under Trump, and the tyrannical Demoncrats act like we're the problem! If Europe really thinks globull warming is that bad, they may have to take turns nuking each other yet.
Maybe if they sent the southern (muslim) invaders packing, that would help, just like we need to do with the illegals invading us here.
Of course, I could do research showing why I should be Supreme Ruler of planet Earth and be just as truthful as the Globull Warming research.

No sweat, as the Biden Administration intends to knock down US energy production back to the 1909 level anyway, so this Paris CO2 goal will probably not affect the USA if Biden and crew get their way.

I hope these lockdowns don’t cause more winters like the one we are recovering from presently. Some people will never learn that Lucy is not going to move the football.

The US met it's goals for reducing carbon dioxide. The only nation to do so with out this sort of nonsense. This is more of the the constant "let's make the the US do it" attitude of the world.

This is what the lockdowns were all about from the beginning. That and to get rid of Trump. The CCP and Democrats teamed up to get it done. By the way, I don't think the Chinese are worrying much about carbon emissions.

Every red state needs to enact legislation this year limiting the scope, duration and powers granted in a "health emergency". They are going to declare climate change a health emergency, effectively making these dictatorial powers permanent, since the climate always has, and always will change.

Read Article dated February 27, 2021 titled "Climate pledges 'far short' of meeting Paris Agreement goals, UN warns." Panic has occurred at the United Nations. Frequent, drastic blackouts and brownouts are coming.

But obviously not for carefully selected "essential" businesses like 5 star restaurants, gas stations, liquor stores (but not bars) and everything else essential to our rulers.

Ok, we knew climate emergencies were on the way!!! Have to flatten the CO2 curve. No cars or trucks allowed on the road for two years than burn fossil fuels.

Another shovelful of bullpoop from the Guardian to fuel the climate hoax machine.

First, the United States is the ONLY country even meeting their intended goal, mostly due to the use of natural gasoline instead of coal.
Second, John Kerry admitted, even if the US eliminated 100% of carbon emissions, it wouldn't be enough since 80% of the emissions are outside of the United States.
Third, if this was truly a crisis of rising sea levels, then why have NONE of the municipalities who issue bonds have anything about it in their prospectuses? Or, are they inviting lawsuits for non-disclosure?
#9 is correct, they want this ability to use an "emergency" to install new rules and restrictions.
And, if it's such an emergency, I want to have landing fees and fuel for private planes increase by 500%.

Of course, those lockdowns will only be for the peasants.
The ruling elites will still get to travel, eat out, go to entertainment venues, and do whatever the heck they want.

If China and India cleaned up their acts we wouldn't have any problems. They are continuing to build emission generating plants.

Yeah, lock down China and India....THAT'S where the CO2 is coming from, and will continue unabated, and increasing.
And CO2 is good for plants, healthy for the planet, makes more green, growing things. That's GOOD.
