Broke my lower right leg skiing in the French Alps some 50 years ago and I’ve still got French Steel holding it all together. Other than the fact I acquired the tendency to drop my assault rifle from time to time and raise my hands, I’ve never found it to be much of a problem.

Well, I can't help being suspicious now. How did he crash? Was that an Arkancide attempt?

I believe it was a simple accident because he was speeding. I hope he can recover enough to play again. I don’t want him to pass Jack in majors, but hope he can play again. He is/was a great golfer.

Thank God Tiger is doing better...one note, he ought to read up on how SUV's are TOP HEAVY and lousy handling vehicles...maybe he should get a low horsepower low to the ground car...with a governor so he can't drive like a maniac.

I have never been a big fan of Woods except to admire his exceptional golf skills but this has to be particularly devasting for a guy who has everything. The go out of their way to call it an innocent accident but I'm sure somebody will sniff out the details. A retired person being up and driving at 7:12 am is kind of unusual, for me anyway.

He was on the way to work #6. He should have been provided a car and driver, but perhaps he was endorsing the new vehicle,. and Genesis wanted candid photos of him doing that.
Ben Hogan was in a terrible car crash, left the tour for two years, came back and won. I remember Hogan limping up the fairway in his final tournament. But he, like tiger, is no sissy Irishman. (That would be Rory McIlroy.)

Guaranteed - - Slimeboy will never again play four rounds in a competitive tournament. He's 45 years old - - and has two broken legs. What are the chances that his game will improve from his recent crappy form?

Been there done that.....and got over it just fine. Not exactly the same break, but modern orthopedics is absolutely amazing stuff. My new knee makes me smile and just thank the Lord and my surgeon several times a week.

Driving like a rich, spoiled brat who assumes that you aren't bounded by the laws of physics can get you a quick comeuppance.
"Do you know who I am?" doesn't help at all if you go into a corner way too fast because you are foolishly in a hurry, and have no idea how to control a slide, recover a vehicle on the edge of control.
Today he is learning a lesson from the school of hard knocks. I suggest that Mr. Woods spends some time on a race track with a skilled driving instructor when he is recovered. If he is going to drive too fast, perhaps he had better improve his skills. He is world class on the golf course, apparently pretty unskilled behind the wheel.
Anyone can benefit from an advanced driving course, some time on a wet and dry skid pad, and learning car control at the limits in a safe environment with an instructor. I am constantly amazed at the rolled and smashed cars I see alongside a divided highway that I often travel. The slightest rain, and there will be two or even three single vehicle wrecks, often rollovers. How are so many driver so darned incompetent?

Most likely Tiger was going too fast on a curvy road he wasn't completely familiar with, and the vehicle he rolled had a higher center of gravity than cars he normally drives.
I drive a Honda S2000, and switching to a taller vehicle would certainly lead me to more cautious driving. Those cars don't have ground effects, and they won't hold the road like a Formula 1 race car, or even like a sports car. (Knock on wood) I've been in one bad accident in 50 years of driving, when someone ran into the rear of my Subaru FF1 at a red light, knocking me into the two cars ahead of me in line. I used to call that tiny vehicle "the half car." That day it shrank to five feet long, with me in the middle of the mess.
Anytime I have underestimated Tiger, I have been wrong. I believe he will recover and return to the Tour. I wouldn't bet against him winning again. At his best there never was a better player (1999 PGA through 2002 U.S. Open). His body is a bit beaten up, but that head is what won him all those tournaments. He's still got that. Get well, Tiger.
