The claim: President Joe Biden was supposed to deliver a State of the Union address by Feb. 20 On Jan. 8, 1790, President George Washington delivered the first – and shortest – annual message from a president to Congress in U.S. history. (Snip) A Facebook user, though, recently noted that President Joe Biden has not delivered his first State of the Union address. That user falsely claims that “it was supposed to be done by” Feb. 20. While the U.S. Constitution says the president “shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union

They are still working the bugs out of the animatronic avatar that will deliver the sotu. It's made with stolen parts.
I think every republican should show up with a ream of paper and tear sheets in half during the entire blatherfest. Hold them high, and rip, rip, rip, rip

I'll give the state of the union. It's not good, and it got worse after Jan. 20th, and it's going to get worse over the next four years.

It would be very embarrassing to have a SOTU given by an illegitimate president. I suspect the SOTU will be virtual, if it is ever given.

If he gave it, would anyone listen?
Does anyone think either Pelosi or Schumer want to have stammering Joe bumbling and muttering jibberish to both House and Senate. Last bad optic they need.

Biden is not capable of making important speeches at home or traveling the globe to interact and make speeches with foreign dignitaries. I await to see the democrat excuses and how they are going to carry this out. It is embarrassing and how the democrats do not seem to care in the least is almost unbelievable also scary.

The biggest vote getter for president in history. They cheated their way in and now they're stuck with him, and we are screwed--big time! They wouldn't dare have him make a big speech unless he is really juiced up on drugs. I keep thinking of that old Star Trek Episode of the old guy who was propped up by the Nazi-like regime and drugged to keep him like a puppet. David Brian and Skip Homeier starred.

The address has turned into nothing more than a made-for-media, 90-minute pep rally for which ever party is in the White House, as the like members jump out of their seats and shout after every third or fourth sentence. And when it's all said and done, we aren't told anything we didn't already know. And in a very disturbing trend, Hollywood and other celebs are showing up with more frequency. How soon before there's a walk on the red carpet into the Capitol?
No, the thought of Great Uncle Joe stuttering through even 30 minutes of gibberish as Judas Roberts sits with pride in the front row while the Speaker leads the ovations, after which the media will tell us that it was the greatest State of the Union presentation ever delivered is more than I can take. The best service the Resident can perform for our country is to set a precedent and skip the whole thing.

Quid Pro Joe will use COVID as his all purpose excuse for not having a teleprompter reading. If he did it would simply be it's all Trump's fault, his son Snorter is a fine young man, and I want all of your money to fight Creeping Climate Change, Systemic White Racism, and the other idiotic drivel. Instead of the Drooling Dolt I'll watch the Moths of Montana.

How much longer can this farce continue? Joe has advanced dementia and it's getting worse every month. Did you hear his speech yesterday? Wow! He could barely speak.

Actually, if they have him wearing a mask, they can have him mumble all he wants into a dead mic and have someone off-stage give the speech. Just sayin'.

It has become quite obvious that these days, any person or group who calls themselves "Fact Checkers" are not interested in presenting the truth, but are "checking" the facts:
as in the second definition of verb (used with object):
2: to restrain; hold in restraint or control.

Whoever Biden’s covert handlers are, probably led by Obama, must figure that it is away too risky to allow Biden to get up there in front of the whole world with the possibility of him not being able to accurately read his speech from old an style teleprompter that the audience can see, instead of a much larger big screen teleprompter placed outside the audience’s view that Biden usually reads from. As in such a setting with a massive audience could turn into a disaster if Biden goes off kilter since it would be on live TV with the liberal media not being able to edit out any gaffs. If Biden were fully capable you would think that they would want to engage such a huge audience and have Biden spell out his extreme leftist political agenda that the Democrats claim is so popular, for the country and the world to see and understand, especially intending illegal aliens. On second thought maybe they don’t want to do that!

No worries. The legitimately elected President Donald John Trump will deliver the State of the Union on Sunday, February 27th at CPAC. That clown in the White House won nothing and quite frankly he does not even know the state of his own underwear as he is in the throes of dementia. I wonder if the democrats have the guts to put him out there to even make the speech.

I already had to suffer through Biden's inauguration speech. I do not wish to suffer through another one. The animators at Disney are probably still working on the robot version of Joe Biden that will be capable of delivering a speech past 9pm and longer than three ungarbled sentences that make sense. He also needs to be able to ditch Kamala long enough to give the speech without her cackling disrupting the few sentences he will be able to deliver unmauled.

The 'fact check; is deceptive. New presidents have generally been giving a speech before a Joint Session of Congress in February which has the same look & feel of a State of the Union speech. Biden is not capable of stringing together 3 sentences without a gaffe, so all questions about a speech are Verbotten.
