A new study has revealed that the virus which causes COVID-19 can linger on fabric, such as clothing or upholstery, for up to three days. Between polyester, a poly-cotton blend and 100% cotton fabrics, the polyester posed the greatest risk, even after 72 hours; on full-cotton samples, the virus lasted one day, while the poly-cotton blend remained contaminated by viral droplets—designed to mimic human saliva—for just six hours. The breakthrough finding could be especially dangerous when it comes to clothing worn by health-care workers, said Dr. Katie Laird, a microbiologist and author of the study.

Then apart from masks, we should all be nekkid outside of our homes.

Everyone is alarmed that a virus can survive for three days on polyester but no one is alarmed that we have a mental incompetent in charge of the nuclear-weapons codes?
Have I unwittingly wandered into a performance of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?

Sounds like it is past time to take off the stupid cloth masks. Egad! Cough into your bent elbow and don’t shake hands. Bump elbows just to be safe. Now wear a CLOTH mask that just may be hosting all kinds of live virus. Enough!! Time to off the masks and get on with our lives. An aside......the vaccine isn’t even really a vaccine.

I don't believe them. Sorry, I don't trust ANYONE on this Wuhan flu. Too much money being made, too many political power plays being done, and crazy "science" which is clearly NOT science.
Every other vaccination in the last two centuries is "OK, you are vaccinated, good to go, you can't get the disease, or if you do, it will be very mild." And with the CCP Political Virus vaccine...."You will still have to wear masks, can't eat indoors, too dangerous, nope, NO, NO, NO, you CANNOT go back to normal after being vaccinated."
I don't trust them, I don't believe them. There are SO many liars in positions that are supposed to be "authority" and yet they LIE.

People are getting vaccinated; mutating viruses are proving to be not so bad as many doctors have predicted; and the numbers of cases are declining quickly and substantially. So, it's now time to frighten the public back into submission. This is a ridiculous and absurd study. The only question I have with this study, is how has mankind survived these thousands of years? This is not the only virus in the world so it surely is not the only virus that can live on multiple surfaces.
We all need to just live in a pod or a bubble. That's the message of this ridiculous study. Stop the madness.

Past time for the general public to exorcise full on civil disobedience and stop wearing masks. explains why mask wearers get the worst case of the china virus, they keep breathing it in all day long, right through the cloth mask.

Time for new covid porn since the old covid porn isn't so scary anymore. Another reason for some schools not to reopen. And they will run this up the flag pole and point and say "see, we told you so". FYI our school is ditching hybrid on March 8th. We will be open 4 days a week for all students to attend at the same time.

So, studies have proven in the last year that the virus can survive on surfacws but that the worst offenders are plastic and metal. Survival on porous surfaces is much chorter.
The they proved that transmission of the virud must be person to person with no proven transfer from surfaces or indirect person to person contact. And now they are apparently fear mongering that the virus survives on porous surface better then expected. But that still leaves the problem that other studies have shown that although the virus might survive on surfaces there are no known cases where such a virus survivor has been able to infect anyone.
The mind Boggles.

More and more folks are getting vaccinated and case numbers are dropping fast, so the power-mongers are desperate to stir up something that will keep the populace frightened and submissive. But they clearly didn't think this gambit all the way through, because now they're really clutching at straws.

#7, the standard trajectory of all pandemics is for the host population (us) to become more resistant as those who have highest sensitivity are 'weeded out', and people who survive develop resistance/immunity, while simultaneously the disease vector mutates to be LESS deadly, more of a chronic thing.
A disease that rapidly kills the host is not as able to be transmitted to others, so is 'less successful' compared to those which are either not deadly at all or take a long time to kill the host, giving time for the disease to be passed on. This is why the mutations are likely to be less deadly.
The good news is that this process will run on a shorter time cycle with an unstable RNA virus like this one, compared to a very stable, very low mutation rate DNA virus like smallpox. Smallpox appears to be little changed from ancient times, although it is likely somewhat less deadly. Difficult to separate the human species adaptation to it from any changes in virulence over the centuries.
At one time, I read a number of books on pandemics and the science and history of them. There are some good books and long articles that have been written on the topic. And Dr. Fakie is a lying piece of garbage, never believe ANYTHING that puke has to say.

So maybe 3 masks because apparently it stays on fabric.so we'll have to spend 2 trillion dollars on "studies" to find out which fabrics. My guess is Chinese fabrics are perfectly safe. SARCOF
It pains me to have to write a SARC that is this blatantly STOOOOPID.

If this is the case, then we've reached herd immunity. This means everyone has been exposed at some point, and the vaccine is probably not needed.

How many studies have we done and what good are any of them. Let’s just go to work, school, and do what we did before the virus because something is going to get you sometime. We’re all going to die..- and I am tired of seeing and hearing these so called experts on radio and TV.
