Jill Biden’s Really Amazing First Month
As First Lady Vs That Trump Woman

Original Article

You probably remember all the fawning news and magazine coverage during Melania Trump’s four graceful years in the White House. The oohs and aahs about a stylish first lady who speaks five languages, an immigrant from Slovenia who crafted a successful career as a super model, how supportive yet carefully candid she is about her controversial husband, how protective she is of her only son. Her investment in and clear fondness for children, especially sick ones both at home and abroad. And her campaign to combat childhood bullying. You remember a good deal of that sympathetic coverage, don’t you? No, you don’t.

It may not be fair but the class and looks Melania had over M. Obama will make it hard for any new First Lady. J. Biden May be ok but compared to Melania she looks like she should be mopping floors and doing laundry.

What I DO remember is that Melania Trump, gorgeous, speaker of five languages, and a gentle, gracious First Lady never made a single magazine cover EVER---not even People (which had the nauseating Biden's on last week---wonder how many copies THAT sold). And why I no longer either subscribe or buy any number of magazines I used to subscribe and buy---People, Vanity Fair (25 year subscriber and made them cancel me while I still had maybe $3.000 left on my subscription so it cost THEM). Yet DR Biden with a degree in kiddy lit and teaching remedial English at a community college, the woman who ran around with Joe and dumped her lst husband for him, SHE is glamorized and praised. "Great love story" my a--- Wonder how she feels about the hair sniffing and allegations of rape.

Jill Biden is a pedestrian woman from a similar background whose bio shows that she has been ambitious since teenage. Upwardly mobile. She hooked up with Joebama while still married to her first husband - she was a babysitter for the Bidens. Her first husband tells the tawdry tale in a book. Jill’s hardly a noble figure for aggrandizement. Husband-stealers have never been appreciated, especially by most women.

Has anyone seen senile old Joe, today? I do not watch the morning shows so I would not know. The orange girl keeps saying Biden wants to go to Texas. Really? I doubt it. It is in the 60's in many places today and will be high 60's and reaching 70's in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area this coming week. Pres. Trump would have gone there by now. There are still problems with not having drinking water and shortages on grocery shelves and fuel as the big rigs could not get in on the roads. Hopefully, they are on the way now and will bring water and supplies this coming week. Utility companies are working 24/7 to get power to those who are still off line. My family was lucky, they survived better than many, but I have never seen so much misery and pain in this country in my life time. TV does not come close to showing. Some humans have died as well as animals, chickens, baby chicks and cattle.

Jill and Joe Biden Do Yet Another Joint

Perhaps we’ve had it all wrong about who is really acting as president while Joe Biden goes to bed at sundown. Most have figured that the shadow-presidency we are currently witnessing would be run by Kamala Harris. After all, she’s the vice president and she’s nakedly ambitious. Yet, more and more, it looks like Harris is being pushed into the background while Jill Biden is really pulling the strings. Not only does she routinely act as the President’s crutch during interviews, she’s now interrupting him to articulate policy in language that makes it seem a lot like she’s in charge. This is some awkward, awkward stuff.

The U.S. Supreme Court said a California county must let five churches hold indoor services, adding to a line of orders that have curbed the power of government officials as they battle the spread of the coronavirus. The latest high court action follows a Feb. 6 order that let indoor worship services resume in most of California at 25% capacity. The court’s unsigned one-paragraph order said the outcome “is clearly dictated” by the earlier decision. The three liberal justices -- Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer and Sonia Sotomayor -- dissented. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) says the United States must reject amnesty for illegal aliens, weakness on China, and the foreign adventurism that has governed the Washington, D.C., beltway for decades. During his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), DeSantis said, “We cannot, we will not go back to the days of the failed Republican establishment of yesteryear,” before denouncing the policy initiatives of the political establishments. “We reject open borders and instead support American sovereignty and the American worker,” DeSantis said. “Building a movement on the foundation of amnesty and cheap foreign labor is like building a house on a field of quicksand.”

If Joe Biden’s first military action is an indication of things to come, GI-Joe is in for a rough ride. On Thursday, 36 days after taking up residency in the White House, Biden unilaterally bombed targets in Syria in what the Pentagon described as a “defensive precision strike.” In so doing, Biden reportedly miffed Kamala Harris, irritated Russia, has been ridiculed as a hypocrite on social media, and now has been mocked by China’s state-run Global Times newspaper. Even better, the Times gave props to Donald Trump in the process. Nicely done, Joe — I can’t wait to see your encore.

It wasn’t long ago that I was making the point that no matter who wins the 2020 election, President Donald Trump was going to be an entity that guided the course of America for decades. Now, Texas Senator Ted Cruz made the same point at CPAC during his speech. ”They want him to go away, but let me tell you something, Donald J. Trump ain’t going anywhere,” said Cruz. The comment came after Cruz talked about the millions of people who support and fought for him, and the left should take note. Cruz is correct, but what the left think Cruz is correct about is deeper than they might anticipate.

But after a political career focused on domestic issues, particularly law enforcement, it’s going to take some time to get her up to speed. Compared to the current occupant of the Oval Office, Harris comes to the vice president’s job as a neophyte on foreign policy. Biden developed relationships with foreign leaders over decades in Washington, including as a longtime member and later chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee

If you saw Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis kick off CPAC 2021, you know he must be thinking about the national stage at some point. ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp introduced him—to loud applause and a not-so-insignificant number of catcalls. He welcomed everyone to Florida, an oasis of freedom. Yes, attendees have to wear masks through much of the conference, but that is a city and business decision. Many Floridians I talked to predict that DeSantis will ban mandatory masking when cases drop below a certain level. This sentiment shows how much confidence Florida conservatives have in the governor and his commitment to protecting their freedoms.

President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package would trigger cuts to Medicare and other programs early next year unless Republicans agree to a waiver — a hurdle that could give the GOP leverage over Democrats’ slim majorities. The Congressional Budget Office said in a letter Thursday to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy that Medicare would face a $36 billion cut, and as much as $90 billion in other programs would be slashed. The spending cliff is entirely of the Democrats’ making. Under the 2010 Pay-As-You-Go law passed by Democrats and signed by then-President Barack Obama, spending increases and tax cuts that add to the deficit — like Biden’s plan

The measure now heads to the Senate where it faces a rocky path in the evenly divided chamber.
