Former Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) voiced support for Neera Tanden, the embattled nominee to head the Office of Management and Budget who once referred to Flake as “criminally ignorant,” even after Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) said he would not vote to confirm her to the position due to “overly partisan statements” she has made in the past.“Neera Tanden is smart, experienced and qualified to lead OMB. I hope she’s confirmed,” remarked Flake, who was recently censured by the Arizona state GOP. “We should always remember that there will be a Republican President in the future who will want to have his/her nominees confirmed.”

What is wrong with the AZ GOP?
They give us Democrats like McCain and Flake. They openly cheat for Biden in elections.
The people need to have a revolt where everyone is thrown out from dog catcher on. Leave no party apparatchiks behind.

What's that word again? Oh, yes, "former." There's a reason for that, chump.

The only word that matters in that entire article is “former”, as in “former”, senator, as in has no say in what happens so he’s now completely irrelevant.

Jeff Flake - criminally ignorant and a bought/paid for asset. With a heavy emphasis on the first syllable of asset.

FTA: “We should always remember that there will be a Republican President in the future who will want to have his/her nominees confirmed.”
After the way the Dems slow-walked Trump's nominees, he's delusional if he thinks they will respond in kind. The Dems are at war with American values, and the Republicans think they can appease their way back into power.

Idiotic and unimaginative journalists seek out flakes like Flake, AOC, Kerry and other zeroes to stir up controversy and see their name in the author column. In this forum we are free to post or NOT POST silly blatherings from half-witted fools.

There are many people on this site who object to articles about British Royals. The LDotters have a point — why bother with a bunch of silly Brits.
I object to articles about silly, Arizona Mormons who offer nothing since leaving government and really had nothing to offer when actually serving in the House and Senate.

Why does anyone care about Jeff Flake? He hoodwinked Arizona by posing as a conservative while in the House of Representatives. He showed his true colors when he was elected to the Senate. He has no future as a Republican in Arizona. He is only useful as an irritating gnat who is trotted out from time to time to say mean things about Trump.

I doubt the vote depends on the opinion of a former Senator. Tossing this nomination is red meat for the MAGA crowd, to show how much Mitch has their back. They'll whip this, if necessary, to ensure her defeat. To do otherwise would leave "moderate" Dem Manchin hanging out...and that's the last thing the Republicans want to do.

What an absolute moron he has finally been revealed to be. Mental midgets in the democrat party are smarter than this guy is. If the democrats are not liking this nominee, then you need to stop embracing her. You are a liar when it comes to future republican nominees, because you all threw massive fits about Trump's nominees and dragged your feet for months, so don't be trying to come off all willing to compromise. We know you are lying.

Scary thing is, Flake must feel protected by the Deep State. He apparently feels secure enough in his position to flout the wishes of those who are supposedly his constituents. Using vote fraud, the Democrats intend to win all the elections they want to win from now on, and Flake is probably counting on the Uniparty keeping a few duplicitous, insipid Republicans, like him, as token, showpiece "opposition".

To former disgraced Senator Flake. Shut up and sit down Traitor Flake. You have no say any more as to what happens in this country. No one gives a damn what you have to say about anything. Shut up you worthless Traitor.

I think this Jackwagon tried to sell me an undercoating job on my '94 Datsun pickup. He's still trying to convince people that the wetness we feel is rain focused locally around our pants legs.
This dork couldn't make a go selling sno-cones at the rim of the Az. Meteor crater. He's probably camped out at 4 corners sponging off the Hopis and selling trinkets out of his Winnebago...i could go on, but my typing thumb is worn out.
