Devastating. There are no words to adequately reflect the sadness in this day. Our beloved Rush Limbaugh has passed away after a battle with lung cancer.
Wings of angels dear friend,…. on wings of angels. Let us mourn deeply! Rush Limbaugh, the monumentally influential media icon who transformed talk radio and politics in his decades behind the microphone, helping shape the modern-day Republican Party, died Wednesday at the age of 70 after a battle with lung cancer, his family announced.
Limbaugh’s wife, Kathryn, made the announcement on his radio show.

The good, compassionate, passionate, loving people are crying today. The evil, hateful, "scummy" people are rejoicing. We will miss you so much Rush. May God be with you.

God bless his soul. I believe I AM THAT I AM has welcomed his soul telling him, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
Now lets see the Marxist Communist democrat, rino, politicians give him the respect he earned and deserves, silence from their lying treasonous lips.
That does not include being in state in the Marxist Communist democrat, rino, Capitol rotunda which now represents Global Marxist Communist One World Government, being forced upon the American Constitution & Bill of Rights loving Non Communist citizens. It would be a slap in face of Rush.

Heartbreaking...we all knew this day was coming but it still hurts deeply. This man was a self-made, courageous, witty, insightful voice for millions of us on this globe. I so wish I could have met him, as it seemed we knew each other so well--musically, politically, sports fandom, etc. We've lost a true American giant. Praying for God's richest blessings for his family, friends, and fellow fans.

I was lucky enough to discover before he went National from the Sacramento Days. I have many fond memories and happy times from those and all years. Rush was the original Trump from the '80s. Maybe it was fitting that Rush passed away on the 17th. Rio Linda should make it a city holiday.

What a sad way to start the day. Rush was a true American Icon and patriot. To say that he will be missed is a true understament. My first radio hero was Paul Harvey. May the both Rest In Peace. God Bless both of them.

Oh, my goodness. One of the finest political commentators of all American history.
I was worried when he worked a full week and then never returned that he had just done his last sprint to the finish for us.
What a hero. I will pray for his soul, but he is probably already there, due to all his good works for so many millions. I can't type any more, hard to see the screen for some reason.

The Master Weaver
Our lives are but fine weavings,
that God and we prepare,
each life becomes a fabric planned,
and fashioned in his care.
We may not always see,
just how the weavings intertwine,
but we must trust the Master’s hand,
and follow His design.
For He can view the pattern,
upon the upper side,
while we must look from underneath,
and trust in Him to guide.
Sometimes a strand of sorrow,
is added to His plan,
and though it’s difficult for us,
we still must understand.
That it’s He who flies the shuttle,
it’s He who knows what’s best,
so we must weave in patience,
and leave to Him the rest.
Not till the loom is silent,
and the shuttles cease to fly,
shall God unroll the canvas,
and explain the reason why.
The dark threads are as needed,
in the Weaver’s skillful hand,
as the threads of gold and silver,
in the pattern He has planned.

So, thoughtful people stand on the sidelines wondering about Rush the phenomenon, wondering how millions of people including their children and grandchildren over thirty and more years could be faithful listeners through think and thin, through the personal ordeals and difficulties, including when he lost his hearing, as he persevered and maintained a powerful intellectual ability to propound conservatism.
We enjoyed his humor and satirical skills, learned to love the guest hosts he chose, the musical parodies.
For thirty years we loved Rush, like a brother. As I thought about all the things that drew us to Rush day in and day out through everything for so many years, what drew us above all, speaking for my family, anyway, was his love for our great Republic.
Rest in peace, Rush.
Praying for Kathryn and David and all his family for peace and solace.
Praying for our country in its peril, and now without its Anchorman.

Those people rejoicing at Rush's death assures us they knew he was getting through to the American people, changing minds, shaping patriots. Many of us would not be here to carry that torch of freedom and Conservative principles in our everyday lives if it were not for Rush and his decades of service to our cause. I will miss him deeply. His memory will be eternal in my heart.

Last time I heard Rush he said we was getting ready to return his talent back to God.
Rush Limbaugh was an uncompromising champion of the unborn. I don't know if it cost him money but it cost him some friends.
May the Holy Innocents surround him as their friend and escort him before the Father Who illuminates minds and fills hearts. God bless Rush Limbaugh.

I can remember the first time I heard Rush on the air. I thought, 'who is this?' It was October 1988 and I was on a road trip for work. He was inviting God to be on the air. I was hooked from there....didn't take six hours, six weeks or six months. Rest in peace, dear friend. May God Almighty bless your family and friends who mourn your loss so deeply.

I knew it was coming but I am in tears nonetheless. We lost a great patriot, a friend, somebody who taught us how to be proud of our country and, in the end, he taught us how to die. May you rest in peace Rush. You will be missed more than you ever know.

Although every human is missed by their family and friends, there are some on this earth that will be missed by millions, and no one could ever step into their shoes or hope to replace them.
I have listened to Rush for 30 years.
He did not mold my mind of mush....he spoke what I was thinking and assured me that I was not alone.
He gave me hope as I sat in Arkansas and watched Clinton elected...twice.
He made me laugh when he played Paul Shanklin parody songs.
Rush prepared me for the brash confidence of Trump.
I feel like I have lost a dear friend!

I remember a man that use to call into Rush's show. The man had a very deep mellow, voice and was very articulate.
Rush would call him "High Mountain Mike". The caller and Rush were interesting to listen to. One day Rush announced that the mans son had informed Rush that the man known as High Mountain Mike had passed away. I felt bad, as i could hear the sorrow in Rush's voice. I am consoling myself, by telling myself, that today, these two men finally met face to face.
I will also miss Rush talking about his Mom. She must have been a hoot.
RIP Rush, and thank you

There will be a hole in the American soul without this patriot to offer his thoughts on the important issues of the day. I spent almost every lunch hour at the park in my car listening to his program and learning from the master. I loved his wit, humor and most of all his undying love and respect for this country. I doubt there will ever be another one like Rush, but I am so grateful for his life because he filled such an important role in the conservative movement. His loss is heartbreaking but his legacy is enormous. We will never know how many lives he touched with the truth.
The Bible says we will be absent from the body and present with the Lord and that brings comfort to every Christian. God bless and comfort his wife, Kathryn, his family and friends and the EIB crew. They will be in our thoughts and prayers as those of us who have loved and respected him travel this path of grief from afar. Rush truly was a talent on loan from God. Now he is home, pain free, and enjoying an experience that none of us can even imagine.

This makes me very sad. I first heard Rush on the radio at my first Naval shore duty station at NAS Alameda in the Bay Area of CA. My boss who was a Conservative was listening to him and I asked him who this guy was because he made the statement of taking on liberals with half of his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair. From then on I was hooked. From his brief stint on TV, his commentary on football, his books and his letter he was THE Conservative staple in my household since the early 90s. Rest In Peace sir and may God bless and keep your family in this time of sadness.

I remember when I first started listening to Rush in 1994. I keep muttering to myself every time he said something; things like, yeah, I was thinking that too; that's what I said; makes sense to me; that's what normal people think. And on and on. I was one of those who hated when he talked about football, but I loved it that he loved football so much. Rush was a member of my family; he was that relative that you never saw but you knew he cared. He cared about my country, so that meant he cared about me, about US. It was just yesterday that I thought about him and how he was doing. I said in my mind that Rush would be gone from US soon; it was so soon. Oh, my heart. . . Talent on loan from God. Right on, right on!
