What did they call the union of corporations, a political party and the state in the 1930s? Does Bruce Springsteen understand what it means for an artist to use their art in service of such a bundling together of corporate, political and state power in the aftermath of a contested election that has seen a transfer of power backed up by thousands of armed troops deployed on the streets of the nation’s capitol and the deposed leader being put on trial by his triumphant enemies? Springsteen probably does know the answers to those questions and is gladly playing his part as did so many in
This shill Bruce has always been dead to me

You're yesterday's news, Greaseball. This sad attempt to be relevant and cutting edge just makes you look like a dirty pair of jeans.

The first time I heard him sing, I was shocked. All he did was scream. Can't believe anyone pays money to hear that. Same with Curt Cobain.

I could never stand his New Jersey Yankee thug music anyway. And what a deep thinker, he is...
Fraud. Hypocrite. Jerk.
And as to the so-called Super Bowl, it used to be a big deal and something I enjoyed watching. Now? Meh. A pox on the NFL and its anti-American thug players, woke owners and scum corporate advertisers.
Giant yawn.

The draft dodger that “pretended” to be gay so some poor black man with far to much pride, dignity and patriotism could go in his place. His character is almost as pathetic as his voice.

I've never liked his music. I was a founding member of a 1982 I Hate Bruce Springsteen Club. (Surely there were more than ours.) We had T-shirts and bumper stickers. Frankly the Rolling Stone's slobbering reviews of his music was sickening. The next Dylan!? Cut it out. But even more was that I truly didn't like his music. It was just generic rock. Boring. For people with low brow musical tastes. My wife says I'm an elitist music snob. I'll accept that moniker.

I wonder how much Springsteen got paid for this ad. Is the liberal mainstream media still claiming that he's "working class"?

Did he mention that Jeep’s are junk in the ad? I know four people who bought Jeep’s in the last 5 years and every one of that had so much service trouble that they’ll never buy another one. Two of them have long since traded their vehicles in.

Can someone please explain why Springsteen is such a “star”? His voice is terrible, his music is terrible . What is the attraction? I don’t get it. Lady Gaga is many things, but at least she has a good voice. Springsteen? Bleah!

First off, Bruce Springsteen has always sounded like he is thoroughly constipated when he sings. I've NEVER been a fan of his music. Second, I agree with #22 on the quality of Jeep - Chrysler products. I had a Neon in the late 90's. It spent more time in the shop than it did in my parking lot at school. It got so bad that I started renting cars for long trips because I couldn't be sure that a car with around 50k miles would be able to make the trip without breaking down along the way. To this day, I still get heart palpitations and a sick stomach when I even think of owning another Chrysler vehicle!!

Problem with most Super Bowl ads is that the advertiser and their ad agency go crazy. They forget that the main purpose of advertising is to SELL SOMETHING you want to SELL, be it a product or an idea which makes you a profit. You're not producing a Hollywood film classic. Now, if you can do both that's nice, but I'd always go for the first goal. Sell Something.

I bought a new Jeep Wrangler in 2000. Lifted it and added oversized tires and wheels. It was the roughest riding car I ever owned. Looked good but assembled poorly! Said I would never own one again. Bruce Springsteen is spiritually lost with no direction and spends most of his time fighting against depression and conservatives. Why would Jeep alienate half of its market? Reminds one of Nike. This Corpo bunch is part of the swamp!

So many of these ads were meaningless gobbledygook. Reminds me of the heavy-handed North Korean propaganda posters with smiling farm workers and the grand leader promising 'Unity'.
