Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has ordered a staggered pause of operations across the entire US military so commanders can have "needed discussions" with service members about the issue of extremism over the next 60 days, Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby announced on Wednesday.Austin hopes the pause, known as a stand down, will accomplish two things -- he wants leaders of each branch to be able to communicate their expectations of how their troops should behave, and leaders to "gain insight" from members on the "scope of the problem from their view," Kirby said.  The issue of extremism in the military has been at the forefront since the January 6 riot at the US Capitol.  Correction*

The Kenyan tried to nullify the effectiveness of our armed forces in an effort to reduce US influence. This is another part of the same effort. Another attempt to create internal turmoil, interfere with recruitment and reduce combat readiness in general. Shades of "race relations training" of the 70's.

What scares them the most is that all military personnel take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. This may result in some cognitive dissonance among some the the more politically informed members of the armed services.

the days of a united military are coming to a close, folks. twinkle toes joe's minions will do all they can to tear apart every positive value still alive in this country and dividing the military is and important part of that plan. they must have a feeling that something is up with DJT and the 75 million of us who voted for him.

There is more to this then just white and republican. They want to know who supports President Trump and who thinks the election was stolen. Biden administration (Obama/Rice) are getting nervous. You don't start vetting the military unless you are very nervous. I think they think something is going to happen. Just saying.... Something does not add up.
