Politics sometimes does strange and sad things to people, especially to elected officials in Washington. Sometimes it makes them forget who they are—or become someone else entirely. In the case of Illinois Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger, it seems to have confused his loyalties: in exchange for attaboys from Twitter blue-checks and MSNBC, he turned on his own family.(Snip)In true D.C. fashion, Kinzinger used his feting by corporate media to promote his new PAC, Country1st, for which he released a little video. In the video he goes beyond just selling out his family and actually paraphrases the words of Jesus Christ, shamelessly appropriating them for contemporary American politics

As usual, another GOP swamp dweller, not realizing that the only reason his "new friends" (DC beltway media whores) are being "nice" to him is that he's willing to turn on those who took him to where he is now. Don't expect them to help you when some well-funded-wet-behind-the-ears-Democrat-rich-kid is running against you for re-election.
Sucker.

adam must have found a new friend named Feng Feng. he fails to remember that the demcoms eat their own when their usefulness winds down, then they become easily replaceable. he will regret this and already has a primary opponent, so adam methinks your political career is already over and it hasn't even started yet

Read his wiki bio. This guy is a GOPe man. He even married into the GOPe. He has career politician aspirations written all over him. Who wouldn't want to be part of our perpetually elected aristocracy?
Term limits anyone?

Kinzinger has no shame. He rides along on his military service and NG membership, a pilot, woohoo, while being an absolutely despicablel person.

Selling out is what most politicians do when they wind up in DC.

Kinzinger had better watch out. If he goes too far with his Democrat-lite candidacy, the voters might elect a real Democrat.

True words of Jesus Christ, "Depart from Me, I never knew you."
Very dangerous to appropriate the words of God and make them fit your fancy. Don't stand next to this guy.

Bet Kinzinger gets a lot more invites to cocktail parties in DC with his Democrat and RINO pals now..... Better treatment from the press also.

Mr. Davidson makes an error on Trump's 'apparent' faith. He used to attend Marble Collegiate Church in Norman Vincent Peale's time and after. A hard act to follow. Yet when you look at his actions and commitments, in word and deed he demonstrated great internal faith in the Creator and the Christian and Jewish faithful--and respectful to Muslims.
It struck me that faith is a private matter with DJT, as it was with a former president named Ronald Reagan.
Regarding the Bidens, it's totally the opposite. We Catholics have a saying--'ashes on Wednesday, palms on Sunday, and sin the rest of the week'. He, along with all the Cuomos and Pelosi, long ago should have been excommunicated as their political actions contradict basic tenets of faith. The failure of the Roman Catholic Church to do so is appalling and why so many have fallen away.

I don't care about his previous military experience. That was then, this is now. His behavior is appalling, and he needs to learn he cannot hide behind his military status. Thanks to Trump, we can call guys like this one on their attempts to do so.
