Move over, Pfizer and Moderna. You won’t be the only games in town too much longer.
COVID-19 has existed for barely more than a year, but 64 vaccines are in clinical development and another 173 in preclinical development worldwide nonetheless, according to the World Health Organization. Dozens of hopefuls are in clinical trials in the U.S., including several by California researchers.
My, how far the one-great OC Register has fallen!

Good info....thanks, OP. I think I'll be holding out for the Indian vaccine Covaxin.

Will they be better than the vaccine that killed 23 in Norway? Or the one that killed my daughter's ex- father-in-law? That one only took two days! They are offering it here in Florida, but I prefer to live a little longer.

Don't care how many they develop - unneeded vaccine for a minor virus. Still not taking any of them or wearing a face diaper. You can stick it, slo joe.

WE must be vigilant and ask questions...everyone is responsible for themselves...how many citizens have other health conditions that succumbed to the vaccine?....no different than the flu vaccine...the problem now is... the DC cabal uses fake numbers to push their lockdown edict...the world health organization is compromised by china... so trust nothing they say...fauci has been paid off and cannot be trusted....so WE the people are left with our own intelligence... I'm fine with that... I have a 147 IQ... not bragging... just the fact...

twinkle toes joe will put a stop to this, no doubt and with due haste. this vaccine is akin to "the Mark of the Beast" and gives me every reason to believe it has some nefarious ramifications.

If you choose to get the vaccine make sure your affairs are in order. The responsible thing to do.

Is that why Merck has quit making the vaccine? Don’t lie to us it’s all political with the loons.

I'd much rather take a conventional vaccine, which provides manufactured virus-like fragments rather than the mRNA version which is an instruction to your own cells to manufacture virus-like fragments. Either way, the virus-like fragments are what prompts the immune system to react and produce antibodies.
I'm old fashioned in many other ways, too. If a conventional vaccine becomes available, I will seek it out rather than the mRNA vaccines. Still waiting for a technical opinion from my cellular biologist research professor friend on the mRNA vaccine, and whether he will take it and recommend it, say for his wife and daughter, due to deliver a baby in a couple of weeks.

Making sweeping, global statements regarding the CCP virus is wrong. Different people react in different ways, some not at all. My course of illness and recovery was far different from my wife's but in no case would either of us have called this a minor virus. I managed to avoid any respiratory issues but my wife experienced a bout of pneumonia, which was resolved in a few weeks on an out-patient basis. It appears that the vaccines, existing and in development, will also have a lot of variation associated with them and the reaction of individuals taking them. The only global statement I'd make about either the virus or the vaccines, is to not make global statements.

I'm impressed with the knowledge of the posters. I often have my children read Lucianne's poster replies instead of the articles for accurate information...as well as a good laugh. Y'all are a hoot sometimes :)
I wonder about this whole vaccine rollout, though.
Will it be mandated to say...hold a job? Enter a federal building? Enter ANY building? Walk outside in public?
I mean, there is no limit to the power these quislings have now. They are doing whatever they want.
Of course there will be a black market for papers, if they demand that. But they'll soon realize the forgeries and come up with a bio-chip or mark...on the right hand maybe? or the forehead if your missing a hand.
Sorry...I used to be an optimist. My faith is the only thing motivating me to fight and plan and try to help my kids.
But, I suppose that is the point.
Keep the faith, folks. I admire all of you.

#9-No mRNA vaccine for me. NO ONE knows the long term effects of it. Everyone who gets the mRNA vaccine is a human guinea pig.
