Katie Couric is 'ruled out' as permanent host
of Jeopardy after asking Bill Maher 'how are
we going to deprogram the cult of Trump?'-
amid fears she has offended the show's
older audience

Katie Couric recently sounded off on Donald Trump's impeachment and Twitter ban, before the one-term president left office. And the acclaimed journalist is now facing backlash from the mostly 'conservative' audience of Jeopardy!, ahead of her guest hosting gig. It came after she appeared on the first 2021 episode of Real Time with Bill Maher last week, where they discussed extremist beliefs in Congress, following the riot at the Capitol earlier this month. Biden and his supporters advocate for open borders, abortion on demand, slashing jobs and ruining women's sports, as well as cheering or at least condoning BLM and Antifa violence, but call Trump supporters extremists. Acclaimed journalist? Nope.

Hey couric, how's it feel to be cancelled? I've been telling all of you we have the power. We took down the Dixie Chicks, Fox News, Twitter and now this bimbo. And we didn't have to say a word, no protests, no demonstrations just ABC's fear of losing viewers and money. They fear us, we can do this if we stick together. Next Bed, Bath and Beyond. Send them polite emails telling them you aren't going to darken their door again.

An older audience that is her demographic age wise. She should have never been considered to begin with. The Jeopardy folks thought they could force a marxist onto their conservative audience, but loudmouth marxist couldn't keep her stupid, ugly, self-righteous but evil mouth shut. It's good to see a minority doesn't quite own America and that there is still power in pushback. They cancel US, but there has to come a time when we cancel them and their culture. They've stolen huge parts of America from US, and we have to take back everything they've stolen--churches, education, government, business, entertainment, news media, anything to do with medicine, sports, etc. We have a lot of work to do and now.

Go woke go broke. Jeopardy is in control of the Hollywood commies. The producers considering a bulldog faced propaganda hack as host tells you all you need to know about the direction this show has taken. I can see it now - I'll take greatest president for $1,000, Reverend Sharpton - Answer who is Obama? The show is on the not watch list. It died with Alex Trebeck.

Mike Rowe is a great guy and great at what he does but it's not being host of Jeopardy. Ken Jennings is the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time, for those of you in Rio Linda) when it comes to Jeopardy. He's personable and smart. We joke amongst ourselves that he probably doesn't even need the "cheat" screen for the answers. The producers can save a lot of time and save us loyal viewers a lot of aggravation if they just go ahead and give Ken the job. Jeopardy is not supposed to be about the host. It's about smart people showing off their smartness. BTW I would change the wording in the headline from "older viewers" to "extremely intelligent viewers". But that's just me. No, literally, it's me. (smile)

Am delighted that "Jeopardy" had the common sense to eliminate the woman. She is a horrendous lightweight to begin with, but her comments re: re-educating 75 million people were egregious beyond words. I was one of the probably thousands and thousands who wrote "Jeopardy" and told them that they were destroying the franchise even considering her. Trebek was not only non-political but also decent and honest and BRIGHT....if he didn't know an answer himself he never pretended that he did.

If the network is so eager to kill their cash cow, no better way than to put Perky Couric in as host. Her ignorance and unlikeability will doom the show. One of the reasons Trebek was so popular was he did massive amounts of research regarding all the subjects being covered on his show. I cannot imagine the conservative/Christian hating Couric ever doing that. The idea that an enthusiastic friend of Epstein and his parties could host this amazing and intelligent show sickens me to no end.

Hollyweird idiots are about to destroy another golden goose. Even thinking about couric is a gigantic red flag. Let Mike Rowe do his job. He doesn't need to waste time being a host on this show. Call Ben Bailey from Cash Cab. He seems good natured and has a good connection with regular people. He actually has a cab license. A comedian, but if he is a liberal, he had enough sense to stay out of the news. Biggest problem is he is 6' 6" and that just be too scary for woke people.

Katie Couric is not particularly intelligent. I have never understood why she was given positions that need gravitas because she has none, rather a silly woman. As far as I know she has failed at everything she has tried since the Today Show. I can't believe that anyone would even consider her for Jeopardy host. It was only in the last couple of yrs that I became aware that Alex Trebek was liberal. Although I wasn't a regular viewer I thought they kept politics out of that show. I like your idea #3

I really don't like Ken Jennings. But I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised at how good he did as guest host the last couple of weeks. He clearly did his show preparation (like Alex was so famous for), so that he pronounced all the names and places correctly. I thought he came off reasonably personable, and seemed reasonably comfortable in that position. It was so weird hearing anyone else hosting besides Alex, but at this point, if Ken is named the permanent host, I will be comfortable watching. But after Katie's little stunt last week, they need to cancel her from even guest hosting. If she wasn't smart enough not to offend the strong majority of Jeopardy viewers, she certainly isn't smart enough to host a show like Jeopardy!!!

Since announcing his candidacy for President in 2015, Donald Trump has dominated the national news cycle — largely to the benefit of legacy media companies. As a growing amount of their airtime centered upon their hatred of the businessman turned politician, many witnessed sharp increases in their audience sizes. The New York Times, for instance, saw more subscriptions in the last three months of 2016 than all of 2015 combined. During election week in 2020, CNN saw a 135% increase in viewership over the first week of November 2019. After the inauguration of President Biden, however, legacy media saw double-digit drops in their viewership.

Plenty of states are doing poorly fiscally, but generally, this has nothing to do with the pandemic and everything to do with their own mismanagement. This was a disputed point back in the spring, but no more. The numbers are in. The coronavirus has not left most states struggling for revenue the way people originally expected. The Congressional Budget Office is anticipating 4.6% economic growth in 2021. That surge, which will come along with the lifting of coronavirus restrictions, will serve as its own stimulus package

In what might not surprise anyone, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is the most unpopular elected official in the country. A new survey from the National Republican Congressional Committee found that Republicans are in a strong position to take back the House in 2022, in part because Pelosi is so unpopular in every “key” subgroup, including women, Hispanics, and union households.Breitbart noted: The survey identified the 80-year-old speaker as the “most unpopular elected official in the country,” scoring a 52 percent unfavorable rating and 41 percent favorable rating. The unfavorable rating includes 45 percent who view Pelosi as “very” unfavorable.

What is happening right now on the border and within the United States regarding illegal immigration is being misrepresented by the Biden administration and much of the media. Most nightly television broadcasts do not even mention the chaos on the border, what is causing it and what the government is doing in response. When they do, they merely copy the administration’s talking points that are inaccurate and misleading. There is currently a surge at the border. Border Patrol is apprehending more than 4,000 people a day. There was one day last week that they arrested over 4,700 people. They are calculating that there is an additional 500-1,000 escaping apprehension daily.

The Department of Homeland Security will designate more than 300,000 Venezuelans living in the U.S. illegally for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) on Monday evening, senior administration officials told reporters ahead of the announcement. The officials said the new designation marks a departure from the Trump administration’s “unilateral” approach to Venezuela and will last for 18 months, as is customary of TPS designations. The move marks one part of the Biden administration’s attempts to have U.S. allies increase pressure on Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro to engage in legitimate negotiations with Venezuela interim President Juan Guaido and the opposition party.

The letter she sent to Biden was shared by Bloomberg Law, the first to report on the development. An email evidently shows that the Biden administration demanded on March 2nd that she step down immediately.Gustafson politely refused to resign, stating that her term runs through 2023. She was then informed that as of 5 p.m. on Friday, she was terminated.

As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill. It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
