Two weeks before he allegedly killed a man who was out walking his dog in Brewerytown, a suspect in the slaying—who had two previous robbery convictions—was released on dramatically lowered bail in an armed kidnapping and an assault case, court records show. Police said Sunday that they had arrested Davis L. Josephus, 20, in the slaying of 25-year-old Milan Loncar, who was shot Wednesday night while walking his dog about a block from his home.(Snip) He was still clutching his dog’s leash when officers found his body. About an hour and a half later, Highway Patrol Officers stopped a car

Heck, at least Philly got some money from the killer. In New York and a few other liberal he11holes they wouldn't have even asked for bail at all.

This will only stop when some judge or their family members get murdered in the street by one of these thugs. Then this idiotic 'leniency' might be curtailed. Or if Soros or his family got it. These events are deliberate and aimed at chaos so that Soros can 'short' the dollar like he did the British pound.

The booking photo of the suspect shows a very ugly, mean looking black man with scraggly hair and "dead eyes". Not someone you would want to meet anywhere, but especially at night. But, of course, it is "racist" to notice that the majority of these violent felons are black. Be armed at all times if you value your life. Violent people are actually out there, and are impossible to predict. Pretending that "it can't happen to me", or "this is a safe neighborhood" is really foolish. https://cdn.abcotvs.com/dip/images/9762885_new-Josephus-Davis.jpg

Like in football, the best defense is a good offense. Think about it. The poor victim offered no resistance, and was shot down anyway. It is a very personal decision, but you have to figure out whether to leave your continued existence, and/or that of your loved ones in someone else's hands with no possible input in the matter, or whether you might do something else, within the law, of course.

Chief Justice John Roberts is eager to avoid presiding over Donald Trump's second impeachment trial–after he became a lightning rod during the first one. Just as the Senate is seeking to ascertain how it might proceed with an impeachment trial without blowing up the start of Joe Biden's term, the Supreme Court could face its own business being rearranged. The Constitution states that 'When the President of the United States is tried the Chief Justice shall preside.' But with the Senate having been in recess since the House voted to impeach, the trial will occur when Trump is no longer in office

Washington—Treasury secretary nominee Janet Yellen urged Congress to “go big” and pass President-elect Joe Biden’s massive $1.9 trillion COVID-19 stimulus package in opening her Senate confirmation hearing on Capitol Hill on Tuesday. “When economists look back on the pandemic, I expect they’ll conclude that Congress’ actions averted a lot of suffering,” Yellen told the Senate Finance Committee. “Over the next few months, we’re going to need more aid to distribute the vaccine, to reopen schools, to help states keep firefighters and teachers on the job,” she continued. “We’ll need more funding to make unemployment insurance checks still go out and help families

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is explicitly pointing his finger at President Donald Trump for helping to spur the attack on the Capitol by the outgoing president’s supporters. The Kentucky Republican said Tuesday on the Senate floor, “The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people.” McConnell spoke six days after the Democratic-led House impeached Trump on charges of inciting the Jan. 6 attack. A Senate trial on whether to convict Trump and perhaps bar him from ever again holding federal office is expected to begin in coming days. After years of supporting Trump

Ex-U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr said Tuesday that President Trump’s false claims that the election was stolen “precipitated the riots” at the Capitol. In his first television interview since his ouster and break from Trump, Barr blamed the violent riots on the weeks-long effort to cast doubt on President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in the November vote. “That was the thing that precipitated the riots on the Hill’,” Barr told the British ITV network. Barr stopped short of accusing his ex-boss of inciting the mob of supporters, but he didn’t refute it either. “I’ll leave it to the people who are looking
