Hundreds of writers and book agents sign
joint letter demanding publishing
industry bans Trump memoir

Editors, publishing agents and authors have signed-up to a letter in the hundreds, demanding the industry deny Donald Trump the publication of any post-presidential memoir. The letter, titled "No Book Deals for Traitors,” was signed by more than 250 editors, authors and publishing agents last week.(Snip) Among the letter’s signatories are staffers from the five biggest publishing houses, Penguin Random House, Hachette Book Group, HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, and Macmillan. Mr Lyga told the Los Angeles Times in an email that publishers should “act to the dictates of their conscience and to the extent they are able to effect change,”

Comments:

The Marxist gatekeepers in the unimedia's book publishing arm are so effective that it's difficult to find current books that are not rife with the left's favorite themes, with even children's books filled with blatant homosexual themes. They say blacklisting and banishment are signs of a healthy society as appropriate, while also convincing the New American populace that Republicans are fascists.

The Marxist fascists are getting really nasty. There will be some publisher for Trump books, regardless of their efforts, and if not, he can easily self-publish. In addition to being obnoxious, nasty little punks, they are really stupid people.

IMHO, it would be far more effective to allow Mister Trump to publish his book and then have the National Guard stage raids on all the book shops selling it and stack them all up in one giant pile on the National Mall and have the Thunderbirds drop napalm on them. I mean, that's entertainment, folks. C'mon, Man!

No worries. By 2022 our Country will have had a Belly Full of the Biden Administration and all their Dirty Deals. That is what will bring back a Republican House and a few more Republican Senators. After that, the MAGA Crowd will kick into action and Donald Trump will be Everywhere! He will have so many Rallies he won't need to put out a Book. He will be telling his experience in Person. He might be running in 2024, or he might be backing someone like Don Jr., Matt Gaetz, Ron DeSantis or another up and coming Firebrand that Trump deems worthy. Trump will make the call who will Run if he doesn't do it himself! Count on it! As for the Book, they can try to stop it, but SOMEONE will publish it. If the Book Stores won't carry it, they will probably see enough protesters in front of their stores to change their minds. If Amazon refuses to carry it, well, you see what happened to Fox News!

Traitor? Why did they publish Obama, then? he's the one who dissed the United States at every opportunity, in word and deed, weakening us, making us more vulnerable. Hillary? she's the one who facilitated selling our uranium to the Russians. Michelle O? why, she's the one who said we "had to get rid of our history and traditions..." How about Billy Clinton? well we all know what his distractions were, under the desk, in the ante room? on the unsecured telephone? Those publishing houses have produced every manner of book, from the utterly debased and perverse to revolutionary tomes and the demonic to belles-lettres to the great classics. They have now exposed what's under their skirts and it's really disgusting. I'm think of defacing some of those books on my shelves which i no longer want to keep and sending back to them. I ask again, why do these people hate Donald J. Trump with such irrational, indeed, insane hatred? Don't they know that hatred corrodes the heart and mind of the hater?

The MISSION of witting & unwitting agents of the LEFT now is the stifling of free speech. The ‘treason’ accusation by these Stepford TOOLS now is equivalent to the “RUSSIA” hoax accusation and the IMPEACHMENT circus. All FALSE. This stifling shows the utter disdain that Trump supporters elicit from the “enlightened” fools controlled by the Alinsky-ite puppeteers behind the curtain.

Regards to McConnell and McCarthy and Cheney. Really appreciate your support of the leader of the Republican Party, because that is the kind of support you can look forward to. This is funny. Unlike books by the Obamas and Jim Comey that no one reads, a Trump memoir of his 4 years of hell in Washington DC would actually sell and make a publisher a ton of money. Authors w/ 75,000,000 followers don't need traditional publishers as much as traditional publishers (and agents) need them.

To those of us who dabble in the field, it is common knowledge that 95% of publishers and agents have gone over to the dark loony-left side. One can see only liberal offerings on the shelves because conservative writers can only get a book to the public through self-publishing. Not a surprise here. Like the entertainment industry, they are too stupid to realize that alienating half of your audience is going to close down half of your businesses. When you see Michelle Obama on the top shelf, it's a sure indication that what follows is even worse.

I wrote a 'dystopian novel' back in late 2012 and it is almost an Audible book now. Over the last few years, my book has disappeared along with all of the five star ratings. When I raise havoc over it, they put it back up without the ratings. This last time, the story had 22 five star ratings and one four star rating. Guess which rating was left when it was taken down again and then re-published? I am 45,000 words into an updated 'Part Two' of the story based on the Trump years, but I am more than a little afraid that they will take down all of my forty+ books and take away my income that keeps able to survive. There once was a company called Loompanics. They published books the establishment really didn't like. Bad things that might interfere with the establishment of the sacred new world order. Scary things like books on explosives, arguments for limited government and even anarchy. Today there is no need for a book to be on a physical medium. If it is written, it can be published. If the New American master race, headquarters in silicon valley stops it here there are places that still support free speech. I personally would choose Poland, they love Trump, they resist the European globalists and is planning to make the kind of commercial censorship the self-annointed tech leaders so love illegal. Fugitive national security contractor Edward Snowden and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange missed out on pardons from outgoing President Trump on Wednesday. The high-profile figures were not among the 143 pardons and commutations issued by Mr. Trump with just hours remaining in his presidency. The clemency actions included a pardon for former White House strategist Steve Bannon, who was facing trial for allegedly defrauding donors in a project to help build Mr. Trump’s border wall. Also missing from the clemency list was Reality Winner, a former National Security Agency contractor imprisoned in 2018 for mailing classified material to a news outlet.

The World Health Organization acted too slowly in the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic, allowing the virus to spread worldwide and eventually kill more than 2 million people, an independent report found. The report, commissioned in July by the WHO itself, also blamed world leaders for their lack of action, saying China locked down too late in January 2020 but otherwise refusing to single out nations. The Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response suggested that had the WHO taken emergency measures sooner, perhaps its member nations would have realized the severity of the virus and reacted accordingly.

But because it has a microphone, camera and access to the internet, Biden’s bike opens up security fears—which could force him to ditch it in Delaware when he moves into

Newly elected Rep. Jamaal Bowman said Monday that the U.S. Capitol riot provided Congress the opportunity to “stop spreading the myth of American exceptionalism” and seriously address systemic racism in the country. “This is a chance for all of us in Congress to sort of begin at a new baseline and stop spreading the myth of American exceptionalism and accept the fact that this is exactly who we are, and this is exactly who we’ve been throughout our country’s history,” Mr. Bowman, New York Democrat, told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes Monday evening. “Whenever there’s social progress, there’s White backlash, particularly from the people

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem and other lockdown critics have been accused for months of ignoring the science on the novel coronavirus, but a recently released study by Stanford University researchers is providing an empirical boost to those who want to shut down the shutdowns. A peer-reviewed article in the European Journal of Clinical Investigation found “no clear significant beneficial effect” from stay-at-home orders and business closures in eight nations, including the United States, versus voluntary measures adopted by South Korea and Sweden. Published Jan. 5, the article offers what may be the strongest scientific challenge yet to more restrictive

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is explicitly pointing his finger at President Donald Trump for helping to spur the attack on the Capitol by the outgoing president’s supporters. The Kentucky Republican said Tuesday on the Senate floor, “The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people.” McConnell spoke six days after the Democratic-led House impeached Trump on charges of inciting the Jan. 6 attack. A Senate trial on whether to convict Trump and perhaps bar him from ever again holding federal office is expected to begin in coming days. After years of supporting Trump

Et tu, Mitch McConnell?Just when Washington has a chance to turn the page, fresh signs emerged Tuesday that the past is not yet past. It is almost certain now that the Senate will hold an impeachment trial of President Trump next week.Even worse, it looks probable he will be convicted of a single charge stemming from the Capitol invasion. The history-making event got the green light from McConnell on his last day as Senate majority leader. Speaking on the Senate floor Tuesday, McConnell said of the Jan. 6 incident: “The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people

Vice President Mike Pence is reportedly not expected to attend President Donald Trump’s military sendoff at Andrews Air Force Base on Tuesday, but he will attend President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration, a source familiar with Pence’s plans told the Daily Caller. The White House declined to comment on Pence’s travel plans. Pence choosing to attend Biden’s inauguration instead of the president’s farewell would be the culmination of the growing rift between the pair. Ex-U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr said Tuesday that President Trump’s false claims that the election was stolen “precipitated the riots” at the Capitol. In his first television interview since his ouster and break from Trump, Barr blamed the violent riots on the weeks-long effort to cast doubt on President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in the November vote. “That was the thing that precipitated the riots on the Hill’,” Barr told the British ITV network. Barr stopped short of accusing his ex-boss of inciting the mob of supporters, but he didn’t refute it either. “I’ll leave it to the people who are looking

Those of you who are reading this post are the type of people who pay attention to things. That’s why you already know that 26,000 National Guard troops drawn from all over America and from Puerto Rico, have assembled in Washington, D.C., in advance of Joe Biden’s inauguration on Wednesday. (That’s about three divisions worth of troops.) But have you given serious thought to what the troops’ presence means? Joe Biden became teary-eyed Tuesday afternoon as he delivered a speech thanking his staff and honoring his late son, Beau Biden, saying it should have been Beau who was about to be sworn in as the 46th president of the United States. At the Major Joseph R. “Beau” Biden III National Guard Center, named after his son who died of brain cancer in 2015 at the age of 46, the former veep’s voice broke and he shed a tear as he told a crowd of supporters that Delaware was “written on his heart.” “Ladies and gentlemen, I only have one regret:

Chief Justice John Roberts is eager to avoid presiding over Donald Trump's second impeachment trial–after he became a lightning rod during the first one. Just as the Senate is seeking to ascertain how it might proceed with an impeachment trial without blowing up the start of Joe Biden's term, the Supreme Court could face its own business being rearranged. The Constitution states that 'When the President of the United States is tried the Chief Justice shall preside.' But with the Senate having been in recess since the House voted to impeach, the trial will occur when Trump is no longer in office
