Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) won’t be up for re-election until 2024, but she has seemingly already filed paperwork indicating she might run again. The 87-year-old U.S. Democrat from California filed the initial re-election paperwork with the Federal Election Commission last week, L.A. Magazine reported. A Feinstein rep reached out to L.A. Magazine to clarify what the FEC filings allegedly mean. “To be clear, Senator Feinstein has had a campaign committee since she took office, as all senators must. In order to keep this account active, the senator has to maintain filings with the FEC. Yesterday’s filings merely reflected an updated address,”

My mother is 87, so I know of what I speak.
Dianne is not doing her own paperwork!
Dianne probably needs assistance in attaching a file to an email.
Other people are doing her senatorial job, as they are Biden's presidential job.

Feinstein, 87, should do something more useful with her life before it's too late. Take up SCUBA diving or learn to code. Or just sit in her kitchen and count her Renminbi.

#9, I have a dear friend who is 85, sharp as a tack and still active despite some physical issues. But then, she didn’t spend her life sitting on her arse in congress.

Waste of time, Diane. At age 87, you will be on the other side of the ground by 2024.

#11 I realize everyone is different. My mom did not sit around either. But she has declined quite a bit since she was 85. I look at Dianne and see that same decline in her eyes.

She should just go on an admit it. At this point all she's holding on for is the chance to lay in state on the rotunda.

It will be interesting when feinstein meets the man upstairs... how will she explain away her callous regard for her fellow human beings... especially the poor unborn babies... her lying and stealing and disregard for what's "right"... must weigh heavily on her mind at night when she's alone...as to her running again... not happening... the swamp party in DC has seen she is compromised... the registration is merely an attempt to hold on to the staffers who will get paid... now that nervous nancy has bailed out California...

Despite her shortcomings (which are many), Feinstein is still probably better at 87 than anything else the State of California is likely to produce. Sometimes it is better to deal with the devil you know.

I take exception to the remarks about old women. I'm soon to be 88 and do all my own paperwork, include filing my taxes, and housework and take care of my little Chihuahua. It all depends on the person and their inherited genes. Diana I feel sorry for as she is too far gone to know how slowly her brain works.

These government-teat suckers like Feinstein, Biden, Pelosi, Kerry, Romney and the dozens of others in Washington only know how to do one thing in life, stay in the government and profit from it in any way they can. Eventually they die, like Fat Teddy, Arlen Specter, Robert Byrd, John Murtha, John McCain, etc. but there are always more willing to keep their chairs warm for another lifetime. Don't blame Feinstein, it's all that she knows, blame the stupid voters who vote time after time for the same moron because they recognize a name.

Just like McCain. Clinging to power to the bitter end. Selling your soul makes you afraid of what comes next.
I know the scriptures say"the love of money" is the root of all evil but the love of power has to be right there with it.

As a Californian I’m sorry to report that if Feinstein does run in four years the brain dead voters will elect her. She is assured a place in the Senate even if she happens to be embalmed.

Why don't they just wrap Diane "Aunt Edna" in a tarp and strap her to the top of Joe's presidential limo for the road trip Vacation back to Wally World. Better than dumping her in the rotunda.

If this corrupt old bag gets re-elected she will be in her mid nineties when her term ends. I fear(not really) someone on her staff will find her kilt over at her desk. That’s the only way politicians especially democrats leave office. Look at her fellow California corrupt octogenarian leftists Pelosi and Waters for other examples.

Should you ever wonder that being in Congress --- and the Senate in particular --- is the greatest gig in the world look no further than the addictive nature of the power!
As of January 18, 2021, 5 senators are in their 80s, 18 are in their 70s, 32 are in their 60s, 30 are in their 50s, 14 are in their 40s, and 1 is in his 30s. Imagine that. And the House isn't much better.
Now everyone wants to grow old like Bob Hope --- playing golf with Presidents while in his late 90's and still doing stand-up comedy at 99! But most of us will not be so blessed. Old Diane is not a robust 87 by any stretch ... but she just can't give it up and walk away. Tells you something.

You know, I think this makes perfect sense. She's a Democrat. And Democrats perfected the art of dead people voting, so the next step is to have dead people run. Then the dead voters and can vote for the dead candidate. You gotta hand it to them. There is a symmetry to it.
