After last week’s Washington, D.C., protests, it didn’t take long for the Big Tech billionaires who own, control and run much of the internet and social media to reveal what they truly are: willing tools, a Fifth Column even, of the progressive wing of the Democratic Party and enemies of free speech. A reckoning is due. In a scene reminiscent of “The Godfather,” the Big Tech companies moved aggressively last weekend to “settle all family business” by deplatforming President Donald Trump, his supporters, a swath of the conservative movement, and anyone else who dares to voice an “unWoke” opinion. The real question is how much longer are Americans going to allow the likes of Gates, Zuckerberg, Dorsey, Bezos, and Soros to control their lives and their government? Are Americans going to allow unelected tech billionaires to rule their lives? We now know that elected officials are more than happy to sacrifice the Constitution and US Citizens.

How much more are American people going to allow? We asked that question a few stations ago, but the cattle train we are on keeps chugging away. Remember Jefferson's admonition- the tree of liberty must be refreshed with the blood of tyrants. The day that threatens to become reality this will stop.

Seems big tech has little tech helpers, too. When big tech did to Parler what it did to Gab, Parler responded by promising to come back like Gab had. BUT...... little companies that support sites copied big tech and froze Parler out. I hope Parler can come back, but lots more independent mirror companies doing what both big tech and little tech do will need to be created for it to happen.

I guess we could all forget to file our taxes and employers forget to with-hold. It would have to be millions of us and it's getting hard to get the word out. Looks like we need our own Bletchley Park, to communicate around the Tyrants. At first glance, it appeared that these censors were not violating 1st Amendment, in that they were private companies. But, if they are subsidized or given special accommodation (section 230) by the government, should not they be held to 1-A provisions? If they can get away with this, I guess landlords and restaurants should be free to serve whom THEY please?

One thing I can say for sure: Trump has proven he is not a reincarnation of Adolf Hitler as so many hysterical celebrities and media types proclaimed over the last four years. Would Hitler have allowed German radio and newspapers to shut him out? Not on your lives!!

Big Tech is creating huge opportunities for other companies, who can capture half Big Tech's customers by setting up alternatives. Those Big Tech employees may be smug today, but many of them will be looking for jobs, after alternative companies have established themselves. When the landlord raises the rent, it takes a while to pack and find another place, but another place is always found.

Since they overreached themselves when they permabanned Trump from Twitter and other media, other nations are actually taking notice and taking steps to stop that from happening in their own countries. After all, if social media can get away with censoring the leader of the free world, they certainly would not have a problem with doing it to those whom they consider smaller potatoes. Merkel and Uganda have already condemned them. Who is next? I suspect the EU is prepping some well deserved nasty surprises for those lunkheads who own and run social media. Well they do have China to fall back on don't they.

The Biden regime is like the Titanic. His rank and file supporters are down in the third class while the moguls are enjoying their sense of superiority. When it hits an iceberg they won’t know it because it won’t get passed the fact checkers. Fortunately I and many others did not book passage.

America’s Dark Winter Begins

Joe Biden will be sworn in as America’s 46th president on Wednesday. Far from being the start of an era of reconciliation, it will be an acceleration of the disunity that his party and its media division have whipped up. God, please have mercy on the United States of America. A few days removed from the 2020 election, Biden warned, as the coronavirus count was nearing 10 million, that the country was “facing a very dark winter.” We don’t disagree. Bleak days are ahead. But we disagree on the reason. This winter, and at least the next two years, are

Joe Biden’s promised stimulus is meant to boost an economy devastated by the Democrats’ national shutdown by handing out more checks and imposing a $15 national minimum wage. Sorry, it won’t work. “We must act now, and we must act decisively,” Biden said. Sounds good, but do we really? What he and Congress have proposed is an incoherent mess that will do the precise opposite of what he says it will. Even worse, it’s premised on the long-discredited idea that the government can stimulate the economy by spending more. From false premises come bad policies that will hurt many low-income

Well over a century ago, liberal John Stuart Mill famously dubbed Britain’s Tories the Stupid Party, an insult that has carried over to the Republican Party in America, which has proved itself over many decades to be well-deserving of the title. From GOP leaders’ sleepy contentment with permanent minority status in Congress before Ronald Reagan’s arrival on the scene, to Republican presidents’ appointment of disastrous Supreme Court justices ranging from Roe v. Wade author Harry Blackmun (Richard Nixon) to John Paul Stevens (Gerald Ford) to David Souter (George H. W. Bush), this is a party that knows how to bring

When Democrats propose “progressive” policies, they say their objective is make the U.S. more like Europe’s welfare states, not socialist nations such as Venezuela and Cuba. Maybe at one time that was true. But not now. In recent years, China has become the nation they want to emulate. Let’s clear up one possible misunderstanding right away. We’re not calling the Democrats communists. There are hard socialist leanings within the party, and far too much just-below-the-surface authoritarianism. But we’re not saying they’re communists, though they have no reservations about calling conservatives and Republicans fascists and Nazis, even when they know the

Last week’s Senate runoff elections in Georgia gave the Democrats full control of the federal governing apparatus. America is now a one-party state, and the Californication of the country will soon begin. But there’s one man who can slow it down if not stop it, at least for a while: Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin. The West Virginian could erase the Democrats’ de facto Senate majority (the Democratic vice president is the tie-breaker in the 50-50 chamber) simply by changing parties. This is no radical suggestion. Manchin is the most conservative Democrat in the Senate, if not all of Washington, and

Sen. Kamala Harris has fallen into the same frying pan Joe Biden found himself in 1987 when he stole a speech from a member of the British Parliament. But Harris’ appropriation of someone else’s story is indicative of more than a deep character flaw. It’s confirmation these people have nothing to offer but old, tired ideas, some of them taken from history’s worst people. In a story published in October, the Democratic California senator recounted an incident from her childhood, in which she was “being wheeled through an Oakland, California, civil rights march in a stroller” and at “some point”

At a speech in Georgia on the eve of two runoff elections that will determine the control of the Senate, Joe Biden tried to woo voters to his side by promising them $2,000 in cash if they voted for the Democratic contenders. What he didn’t tell Georgians is that if they elect those two Democrats – Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock — Biden will take all that money away, and more, to pay for his radical leftist agenda. “If you send Jon and the reverend to Washington, those $2,000 checks will go out the door,

We’re joking with that headline, of course. No one knows what the economy will do tomorrow, because none can guess what stupid things government will do next. Yet New York Times economics pundit Paul Krugman, who has made a handsome living for decades being wrong, recently predicted economic times may get better, a lot better, under Joe Biden. Is he right? In the past, the impeccably progressive Krugman’s ideological blinders have prevented him from seeing reality even in his specialty, economics. That’s especially true when it comes to any policy or idea emanating from Republicans, for whom he has a

Joe Biden has started attacking the Trump administration for not getting the COVID vaccines distributed fast enough. It’s the exact opposite of what Biden was saying before the election. “As I long feared and warned, the effort to distribute and administer the vaccine is not progressing as it should,” Biden said last week. As he “long feared and warned”? Who is he kidding? Before the election, the only fear Biden expressed was that Trump was making wildly unrealistic claims about how quickly a vaccine could be developed, and that Trump was putting pressure on regulators to rush approval. “I trust

Nearly all would agree that 2020 has been a miserable year. A major reason for that misery, apart from the Chinese COVID-19 pandemic, was the utter failure of the American media. Our information purveyors no longer tell the truth or deal in facts, but rather trade in bankrupt far-left theories of wokeness, political correctness and cancel culture. And now that Joe Biden could be our next president, the big media’s soft gloves will go back on. No more tough questions, according to The Atlantic. “As the White House beat became the biggest story in the world, once-obscure correspondents were recast

We’re staring into the barrel of at least four years of sclerotic economic growth. He also lamented the “grim” jobs

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is explicitly pointing his finger at President Donald Trump for helping to spur the attack on the Capitol by the outgoing president’s supporters. The Kentucky Republican said Tuesday on the Senate floor, “The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people.” McConnell spoke six days after the Democratic-led House impeached Trump on charges of inciting the Jan. 6 attack. A Senate trial on whether to convict Trump and perhaps bar him from ever again holding federal office is expected to begin in coming days. After years of supporting Trump
