Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez revealed that Congress is looking into creating an investigative commission to “rein in” the media in the wake of the US Capitol siege. During a lengthy Instagram Live on Tuesday evening where she revealed that she feared for her life during the siege, the “Squad” member accused the mainstream media of “spewing disinformation” ahead of the deadly riot in which five people died. “There’s absolutely a commission that’s being discussed but it seems to be more investigating in style rather than truth and reconciliation,” she said.

Ah. So it’s starting already. The mainstream media thought that by spewing leftist garbage and hiding leftist dirt they would be immune from the great purge. But the powers that be know that if the media can lie 24/7 about Trump then they are not to be trusted even by the left. Looks like the alligator is coming for his meal at last.

It appears to me that the fascist democrats have already done a pretty good job in their effort to “rein in” the media. Does she intend to put political censors on our emails and text messages? Probably is.

Oathtaker time. Every LEO, every Guardsman has to start calculating how far will they go to obey an order from tyrants. Unlike Kent State, there will be plenty of time to understand exactly what is happening. Are you ready to execute a fellow citizen for a corrupt crowd of politicians and their parasites? That is the ultimate end to all of this. Every neocommunist rat in government assumes they can do anything they want, now that they control the government, courts and ballot box. Let's find out if less than 1,000 really vile people can enslave the rest of us.

#15, in 1989 when the communist bloc was falling like dominoes, Romania’s Ceausescu ordered his military to open fire on their fellow citizens. It didn’t end well for Ceausescu or his wife. That same military executed them both on Christmas Day.

Rep. Jason Crow, Colorado Democrat, said Wednesday that Republican members of Congress are scared they’ll be killed if they vote to impeach President Trump. He said the GOP is “paralyzed with fear.” “I had a lot of conversations with my Republican colleagues last night,” Mr. Crow said on MSNBC. “A couple of them broke down in tears talking to me and saying that they are afraid for their lives if they vote for this impeachment.” “My response was, you know not to be unsympathetic but welcome to the club,” he said. “That’s leadership. Our country is in a very challenging time.”

President Trump was impeached a second time by the US House of Representatives on Wednesday in a largely party-line vote that saw a handful of Republicans join Democrats to blame the outgoing commander-in-chief for sparking last week’s Capitol siege. The measure reached 217 “yea” votes shortly after 4:20 p.m. to make Trump the only president to be impeached twice. The final vote was 232-197, with 10 Republicans crossing party lines and four Republicans not voting when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) announced around 4:35 p.m. No members of the GOP voted in 2019 to impeach Trump the first time.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says to stem the spread of COVID-19, all Americans should wear a mask. The New York Times says if one mask works, maybe two will be twice as nice. “Football coaches do it. President-elects do it. Even science-savvy senators do it. As cases of the coronavirus continue to surge on a global scale, some of the nation’s most prominent people have begun to double up on masks — a move that researchers say is increasingly being backed up by data,” the paper writes. (Snip) Of course, there’s a drawback: “We run the risk of making it too hard to breathe.”

Only security personnel and the media will be allowed to access the traditional gathering place for crowds keen to see the ceremony, according to officials who spoke to The Washington Post. The extraordinary shutdown of the entire mall for the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden comes as the city and federal authorities act to prevent further violence following the 6 January assault on the Capitol Building.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has reworn the outfit she appeared in during President Trump’s first impeachment in 2019 for the second impeachment vote against the president. On Wednesday, Ms Pelosi appeared at the House impeachment vote wearing a black dress with three-quarter sleeves and a blue and black floral mask. She paired the outfit with a gold necklace. As confirmed by her office in a statement to People, Ms Pelosi first wore the suit dress and necklace on 18 December 2019, when the House passed two articles of impeachment against the president for abuse of power and obstruction of justice. While today’s outfit was nearly identical,

President Trump potentially faces a torrent of criminal charges when he leaves office, including charges linked to the deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, making prosecutors worry that he is a flight risk. Mr. Trump’s real estate empire extends to multiple luxury properties in countries that don’t have extradition treaties with the United States. And Mr. Trump himself publicly mused in October that he’d leave the country if he lost to Democrat Joseph R. Biden. Douglas McNabb, a private attorney with expertise in international extradition defense, said that if criminal charges are brought, Mr. Trump fits the bill for becoming a fugitive from justice.

WASHINGTON — A day before rioters stormed Congress, an FBI office in Virginia issued an explicit internal warning that extremists were preparing to travel to Washington to commit violence and "war," according to an internal document reviewed by The Washington Post that contradicts a senior official's declaration that the bureau had no intelligence indicating that anyone at last week's pro-Trump protest planned to do harm. A situational information report approved for release the day before the U.S. Capitol riot painted a dire portrait of dangerous plans, including individuals sharing a map of the complex's tunnels, and possible rally points for would-be conspirators to meet up
