They tried, and it looks like they may have failed. Social media company Parler, which has been under attack from the far-left for not censoring conservatives, seems to have found a new home after Amazon Web Services decided to stop hosting the company’s site. The Washington Examiner reported: On Monday, Parler registered its domain and server to be hosted by Epik, an internet webhosting company known for working with right-leaning websites. Gab, another social media platform popular with conservatives, also uses Epik. A web domain search shows that Parler is now registered with Epik.

If the left goes after email providers, new email providers will emerge and will become the trusted service by 75 million Americans. The left is over stepping just like they always do. Look at history, they are bound to and ARE repeating it. Their shear arrogance will bite them in the butt.

The left just forced the taxation and political monetization of internet usage. To maintain their perceived dominance the left will need to raise far more money (our US tax dollars, and taxes on internet usage) and distribute that money to their mouth pieces, who will then in turn donate to leftist causes, hard left politicians or create leftist causes to hide the fact they are doing it. Look also for a serious effort by the marxists to somehow bail out print newspapers and magazines, but only hard left newspapers and magazines. How will this look? Like business as usual for the marxist grifters. The tech brahmins will fight each other to see who will become the first trillionaire, they don't care about anything else.

What is progressive about political censorship and one party rule? Isn't that more fascist, socialist or communist?

I watched a distressed bongino report. I will support him. We must stand up against this fascism and i am not inciting violence. But we did not stand strong enough against fascist antifa when the started to violently censure free speech so this is what we face now. We will over come. They are exposing theirselves. They say they are making lists. We dont have too cause they show theirselves. They forgot to be covert in their civil rights abuses. Our money talks.

Re: Reply 6 reference to lists. For years I’ve been concerned about being outed as a “right wing radical.” I do not have any social media accounts, but worry about my email (aol) and do not trust Apple (iphone)

One of the more neglected books of the bible is the book of Esther.
I conclude that the moral of that story centers around trusting the Lord to protect you and to fulfill His promises concerning you. But we may have to engage with the enemy on their own terms.
I think it's time to stop just defending ourselves and to go on offense and fight back. Both legislatively and in the market place.
President Trump has been doing this. Time for me to stop sitting back and expecting to enjoy the fruits of his hard work.

New email providers huh? Twitter just lost ten percent and they couldn't care less. All the nets especially Fox have lost millions. Almost every maker of tech equipment, servers, server software, including Linux based software, is owned or controlled by the Big Tech wing of Marxism. For example, do you think if Google tells Cisco not to sell their services to conservative mail hosts, they won't comply? Really? If you think that's so, then there's a "WHOOOOLLLLE LOTTA Purple Unicorn ranchin' goin' on out dere." Now go put your mask back on; the one that you've only had to wear for fifteen days.

I read this morning that Epik said they had not been in talks with Parler. So what’s really going on?

If social pressure and cancel culture can't force Parler to restrict speech, liability lawyers will gradually rein it in. Stalin and the Soviets brayed about using our own freedom to bring us down. The Left will try to exploit the same thing with Parler and Gab and wherever our liberties are still protected.

It might be that the website is GAB not GAP.
I have never had a Face Plant or Twit account.. By dinnertime I will have a Gab and a Parler Let the Twits lose half their customers because their CEO is an idiot. DJT would NEVER have made an idiotic mistake like that.
We're about to inaugurate 80 MILLION Trumps. MAGA

Be patient trying to get on Gab. They are getting over a million new members a day and are struggling to keep up. I tried last night and got the “down for maintenance” message but tried again this morning and got on. The site is running slowly but if you just be patient and wait, you’ll be able to sign up.

Worried about email providers....get rid of them and get on a local ISP...I get my phone and internet through a local. I do however keep a gmail account as a 'throw away' if I think I'm going to get spam...

#1 The bad thing about that is they take 2 steps forward and 1 step back. In other words, they've gone 1 step further.

#17, the cool thing about the internet, email and open source software is that the Big Three aren't the ONLY ones who can provide email. Not only are there plenty of email service providers out there, but a sufficiently-motivated hobbyist can even roll out his own email server. The software for doing so exists and has done so for decades.
Seems like the eft is trying to get back to the bad old days when the government could control what the citizens knew by simply controlling the info at just a handful of media outlets. But the internet is like leaky boat in the middle of an ocean: plug one hole and yet another leak springs - you can't plug them all.

#5, "progressive" is a cynical admission of their methodology, not their ideals. "Progressive", as in the story about the frog in water getting "progressively", incrementally warmer, cooking him before he knows what happened. Authoritarians seem to always have an ego problem that goes with their psychosis - they just HAVE to tell you what they are doing, in code or not, or it's no fun. E.g,, see Mein Kampf, and "Prairie Fire"..
