A bill reintroduced in the House this week to create a commission to examine reparations for the African American descendants of slavery is being seen by many as an early test of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris’ proclaimed commitment to tackling structural oppression. (Snip) “Given the role that Black people played in the election, getting him nominated and saving his campaign — there’s no reason they shouldn’t support this bill,” Mary Frances Berry, a professor of history at the University of Pennsylvania, said of Biden and Harris. “This is one of the best ways to make good

Whatever it is, it won't be enough. If the demands for more are met, that won't be enough either. Rinse and repeat.

By all means, start giving handouts based on race. That's a great way to heal the divisions in this country. The only people that will satisfy is the ones who get the dough, but only until they spend it. Once the money is gone, they'll be complaining that it wasn't enough.

They're not trying to heal the country. They have been frosted since the end of the Civil War,, that blacks were freed. They figure if they steal enough from the rest of us and claim they are making reparations, that they can turn EVERYONE against blacks, and then have an excuse to institute an American Holocast, with blacks plying the part of the Jews in Naxi Germany.
The Nazis were inspired by the writing of Democrats in the thirties about eugenics and the superiority of certain races, that demanded jews, and also blacks, and excused their sterilization and/or slaughter. They targeted the Jews, who were bankers and investors and blamed them for the financial problems the governments forced on them. I can see Democrats, forcing reparations, then when people are roper riled up, blaming the blacks for the greed while skimming most of the money off the top for themselves.

I propose referring to Biden as NMP (Not My President) Biden instead of ever bestowing the title President Biden going forward. He and his call girl VP Harris were not legally elected and we should never sully the title of President of the United States by using it in reference to these two communist death democrats.
How about referring to Harris as mattress girl instead of VP?

Militant black people aren't exactly popular these days in many circles. Just go ahead and dump a boatload of cash on those who already burned out neighborhoods and shot policemen who were ordered to stand down to let the angry children throw their temper tantrums. This will be the first of many outrages from the JoHo team. The dilemma is that if promised reparations are not bestowed upon them, the burning will recommence.

I knew this was coming but good lord he isn't even in the White House yet and they working on it. And who do we have to turn to now for help with our rights. No one. Not one person in Washington answers to us anymore. I'm not blaming Trump. He held in there as long as he could. One man can't do anything on his own. Just for fun, tho, he could declare martial law and stay in the White House as long as he wants.

Reparation for what, destroying our cities, for committing over 60% of the violent crimes while being only 14% of the population. Plus, they already receive reparations. Free housing, free health care, free cell phones, they have their own cities, their own colleges, their own cable networks, they control the NFL, NBA and Track & Field, they are in every TV commercial, in every magazine advertisement, they are in every movie and on every TV talk show. Plus their own people in Africa sold them into slavery and tens of thousand of white guys died fighting in the civil war to free them. Yet today they demean the president who freed them, President Lincoln. Play this reparations game and things will get a lot worse. Got it.

Leftists are so good at tearing stuff up; they can't build crap, but they sure can tear down and destroy. The reparations movement is already mad that usurper doesn't have a plan in place to roll out day one; they won't be happy with a commission. They'll see the birthers get citizenship as one of usurper's priorities. That should make them real angry; they've been conditioned to accepting massah's crumbs though. It would be nice to see them rise up for once; can't do that, though, it would mean freedom or something.
Remember when the usurper's team refused to discuss rapper Ice Cube's plan and told him to wait until after the election? Now Cube can look forward to being on a commission and become a house negro. Let's see if he bites. Ha! Ha! President Trump gave us the lowest unemployment in American history, and now black people say no to that; give me handouts, don't give me work.

The Racial Equalization board is here. Why shouldn’t everyone who ever got wronged- and who isn’t white- have place in line at the payout window?
And for all this, the dims will only charge a 20% handling fee. Huncher bi.det is setting up a payee qualifying company even now named “one for you one for the bidens, LLC” an non taxpaying for profit C you later corp.
And maybe just impose a constructive trust on all the suburbs since all that wealth started from slavery. EXCEPT for the New york times and dimocrap properties of course which were granted to them by god herself.

It is impossible for such a Commission to uncover anything new about slavery that ended over 150 years ago. There are no witnesses alive who could shed any light on slavery that is not already known and written down over that 150 year period since slavery ended. Chances are the reason that the Democrats want a Commission is so they can pack it with pro-reparation people to do the work that Democrat politicians should be doing, and make recommendations that the Democrats can say they are just following when they take up a bill to throw a lot of taxpayer’s money at Democrat supporting organizations that will operate whatever their reparations scheme turns out to be.
What the Democrats should be doing if they really support reparations they should simply introduce a bill that will get reparations rolling during the next two years while they control the whole corrupt DC show.

Your wife counts, poster #28. Remember that racist one drop of black blood? The ugly, disgusting, former African usurper is just considered black. And, today, you can identify as black just because you feel like it. Be black today, claim slave ancestry, get yo' reparations, then revert to white, brown, or yellow the next day. Milk it and consider it a return on your taxes. No one will find out anyway; only conservatives pay attention to waste, fraud, and abuse.

Other than than the $25 to $50 million paid to the members and staff of this “Commission”, no money will be given out. Rather, this is another vicious attempt by Biden and Democrats to call anyone who disagrees with reparations a “racist”. If you question any aspect of this madness or the numerous leftists on the Commission, your home will be targeted by BLM thugs and CNN and The NY Times will do their best to tar you as a hater who wraps himself in the Confederate Flag.
Our only hope is that if a commission is actually formed, that John Durham be named Chairman. With Durham, absolutely nothing will happen, not even a report.

Still another lose-lose for the Democrats here. Blacks who feel that they've been disenfranchised by bad policymaking will view this as a buy-off and and a handout. They don't feel they are victims just because the media dutifully portrays them as such. And other blacks who are remarkably adept at gaming the welfare system will scoff and say 'where's the rest? we want MORE'. In any event this is a clear showcase of pandering to a group to curry favor. What did Obama do for blacks in the 8 years he was President? Not a damn thing. This token gesture with be forgotten soon enough.

Give blacks boatloads of money, they'll spend it in weeks if not days. It'll go right back to others' hands except this time it'll be much more limited and selective hands. The unhappy blacks will still be black and unhappy.
Now on to guns, the fairness doctrine, green fascism, first amendment throttling via centralized information control, destruction of family, religion and suburban autonomy, phew, dream world, here we come...

Pandering anyone? What a crock--Compensating people for a wrong they have not suffered at the expense of people who are not responsible for the wrong. Not one person is alive who was a slave. Not one person alive today ever owned a slave in the United States, at least not legally. Besides any debt owed to slaves by whites was paid long ago--in blood. Thousands died to free the slaves. It's time to put this victimology to rest and learn to live together as equals regardless of skin color. This is just another attempt by the oh so caring left to keep us divided and deepen racial divisions. No doubt anyone who opposes "reparations" will be deemed a racist and worthy of being "canceled."

To #22. Since my family came to the U.S. they have always picked their own cotton. An even my mom's generation missed a couple of month of school each fall doing so. When slavery was king, it was mainly a few rich people that had the slaves, on both sides of the Mason-Dixon line.
As #6 mentions, the slaves themselves got 40 acres and a mule as reparations, which was more than a heck of a lot of other people had back then.
