In the short term, the political changes will create apparent winners among the politically savvy, who will gloat and bask in the outcome of this teachery against the American people. Some individual political actors may even get away with it if we let them. Watch them bang their gavels, do mock battle with each other and pontificate to the press about what they plan to accomplish “for the American people” (how lame we all find that phrase, since we know the middle finger is always coming). Interest groups among the public will suffer or prosper, depending on the whims of the masters pulling the strings. Large corporate interests, the communications tech geniuses that have helped reduce our population to warring camps and enabled a cloud of tyrannical control and misdirection to settle over our lives for the first time since our revolution – they will continue to consolidate and enrich themselves, so long as that control serves their foul purposes. The country is in dire danger internally, and recovery for the Nation as a whole will be an incredible challenge. I do not believe that national recovery, or even “life support” sustenance, is a certainty in the near term, because I see no evidence that the leadership and policies about to be foisted upon us have either the will, focus or competence to accomplish it. The American people have allowed a true mortal sin to be committed against our country, Constitution, and legacy, and against our forefathers, citizens and children’s futures. Given the proclivities of our leaders as they have shown in the past, including our new President and others at the top, the clear winner, and, I truly fear for the long term, is likely to be China and the CCP. We have proven sympathies and even admiration for them among our leadership, and I am sure the Chinese are not inclined to make “investments” and “donations” such as have been claimed here and there without assurances to go along with them. I fear what kinds of commitments we have made, and will make, to keep them happy. The plans and political aspirations of the American Progressive Left closely align with those proudly and coldly implemented by the ruling CCP, and I am sure the natural inclination of the Left toward measures of control and command will only take our country more in that direction.
