WASHINGTON — An articles of impeachment accusing President Trump of “inciting an insurrection” have been drafted by House Democrats in the wake of the deadly Capitol siege and will be formally introduced on Monday, according to reports. The document, which has over 150 sponsors, accuses Trump of violating his Constitutional duty by encouraging a crowd of his supporters to fight the vote to certify Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory.“In all of this, President Trump gravely endangered the security of the United States government. He threatened the integrity of the democratic system,

After 2008, the 0bamatons tried to get GWB to quit early over their Iraqi war hysterics... . . . but they didn’t succeed and couldn’t begin with their power lust & the attendant overreach until after Barry took the oath.
This time, they’re not waiting for the process, they smell blood and are prematurely overreaching . . . doing exactly what they’ve been trying to pin on Trump all this time.
Make no mistake, this is a coup and will backfire as soon as the cover they’re getting from the media is overtaken by the facts.

It all is the outcome of a non-transparent election, and one side or the other was going to come to Washington. If the Democrats would like to tell us their gathering would have been more decorous i invite them to make that point because I like a good laugh.

The Republican Party has proven themselves to be powerless. There has not been any effective response to the Democrats in 4 years. Now the Republicans have committed suicide by supporting the Democrats. There is no explanation for Republicans certifying illegal votes cast in the presidential election. Republicans have not said a word about the murder of Ashli, instead hangdogging their heads about their causing a riot by assembling to protest a stolen election. Then we have McConnell, who we will never be able to pry from the Senate leadership. Harris County has the same thing happening as Fulton County, Ga. With these new election rules, it is a waste of time to vote. The Republicans have accepted this new voting system, so it is now a precedent. All this has some people thinking it is time to move on from the Republican Party. Many former supporters are pulling the knives out of their backs.

Why are they so afraid of President Trump? By their actions, there's a lot there that they don't want President Trump uncovering and this includes the RINOs. Pathetic and so weak.

# 9 - so I read on Rush yesterday, Trump can still declare martial law and he can then stay in the White House as long as he wants. He obviously has lots of dirt on these people. I understand why he gave in yesterday, he had no choice, the democrats were ready to destroy as much as they could and probably planned for a few people to die. Trump proved he had a heart and soul and walked away. He knows he won. We know he won. I don't know how we will get the country back, Pelosi has everyone's balls in a lockbox somewhere but my money is still on Trump getting the last word. No, he won't be president, but if he could make trouble for the likes of Nancy and Chucky, I'll settle for that.

Well Trump will be leaving office on January 20th at the end of his presidential term and has said that he will cooperate with an orderly transfer of power. So why are the Democrat so insistent in wasting the time of the Congress to impeach Trump at this juncture since he only has a few days left in office?
In essence the Democrats intend to impeach Trump if he does not immediately resign from the Presidency, not for anything that he has already done that has been proven to be an impeachable offense after a comprehensive and legitimate investigation, but as an act of prior restraint to keep Trump from running for President again in 2024, something that Trump may or may not do. This would be the first time in US history that impeachment has been used as a political weapon to keep any American from running for future political office. Republicans would have to be nuts to go along with that proposed Democrat move, as first it is all political, then what if after such a legitimate investigation it was determined that the violence at the Capitol building was perpetrated by people who are not actually Trump supporters? Or in six months after a comprehensive and technical investigation it is proven that the general election was actually a fraudulent election? The Republicans would then look like fools.
It’s really kind of goofy as Pelosi is calling for Trump to resign, and if Trump actually did that, there would be nothing to keep Trump from running for President again in 2024, because he could not be found ineligible to run for office as he would not have been previously impeached and removed from office.

It's amazing who quickly the entire Democrat establishment, Hollywood folks, etc.. have been able to mobilize on this issue.
Just shows they can move faster on a whole lot of things when they want to, instead of slow-rolling things for years.

The Republicans are sitting pretty as junior partners in the Uni-China-Party. If this election stands there's no reason any future election will ever be any different.

Don't be surprised when Congress impeaches Trump. They have gone this far what with stealing the election. They are making a statement.
Washington has an anti-American leftist globalist agenda. Anyone not on board is not welcome and will be destroyed. Congress may be duly elected, but they do not represent the general population nor do they look out for the welfare of the country itself.

It seems to me that the Democ'RATS have taken Impeachment from an extremely serious action, to be taken only in an extreme situation, and cheapened it to where it is nothing more than another toy in their box of political stunts.

Impeachment for what? They should have burned the place down. Congress certainly does not represent me and the 80 million other people that voted for the most intelligent, effective, and thoroughly American president since George Washington. If you are a Washington DC politician then you are a criminal. The 80 million should destroy the place and start over. Term limits and citizen legislators that are only paid a stipend and expenses will make up our new congress.

I would like to think that, before he goes, PDT might order a lot more documents declassified regarding Ukraine, the Bidens, and the Obama-Brennan-Clapper fiasco. I wonder whether Pelosi et al. are pushing impeachment to prevent such an action.

The dems want republicans to go on record against Trump. Trump should use his next days in the WH to pardon his family, himself & his associates. The dems will use all their time & energy against Trump. They are out of control. Nancy placed the squad on committees with subpoena power. The house has been off since March & now they are coming to life???? What happened to covid???
