Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell delivered a blistering takedown of some Republicans’ first objection to the Electoral College vote, saying the presidential outcome was “not unusually close” and warning the effort to overturn the result could send the country into a “death spiral". “Nothing before us proves illegality anywhere near the massive scale that would have tipped the entire election. Nor can public doubt alone justify a radical break when the doubt itself was incited without any evidence,” the Kentucky Republican said as the Senate convened to hear an objection to Mr Biden’s victory in Arizona. “The Constitution gives us here in Congress a limited role.

So if I understand what Mitch said, a little fraud and corruption is ok as long as it doesn't threaten the jobs of Swamp Dwellers. Nothing to see here folks. Now go and spend your 600 bucks on lottery tickets and beer.

He only gave a modicum of support for PDJT & he did so with great reluctance.
It makes me worry about the Judges that we were so glad he passed through the Senate.

McConnell, why can't we see the ballots? Why can't we inspect the machines? Why can't we have our case heard in a court? Why is youtube blocking Trump's speech this morning? Yeah, we are in a death spiral. Do you really think you are going to be the leader of the Republican Party, McConnell? You have no national support base. Now you have a nothing party, McConnell, sitting on the back benches, powerless.

The people of KY need to start a recall on China Mitch asap! If only he had shown so much passion against our real enemies.
As far as judges go, the 3 Trump SCOTUS justices, along with Roberts should be impeached too. They are useless. What difference will it make if the socialists get more justices? There is no difference anymore.
And Pence? Et to Brute? Buh bye!

Let's not forget that Mitch was front and center trying to kill the Tea Party. He and his Uniparty buddies succeeded in limiting the Tea Party's candidate (Trump) to one term. I hope he enjoys being the Minority Leader in a Senate without the filibuster, and with 104 senators. He and the GOPe have killed the Republican party.

Why do so many repeat the phrase, "massive fraud"?
Doesn't need to be massive to have 12,000 votes to win a state the size of AZ.
I guess Mitch is going to enjoy being the minority leader, despite a 50/50 Senate. Dems would be demanding equal representation on committee's, etc.. But the Dems won't give anything like that to Republicans.

The whole "without evidence" canard is getting REALLY old. There are Mounds upon Mounds of evidence in multiple states. I would respect him if he said, there is evidence, however, at this time, the courts have refused to hear it...but our leaders need to at least acknowledge there is plenty of evidence and VOW to do something about it before the next election cycle. Of coures, none of this can happen at the federal level. We are going to have to hold our state legislators accountable and press hard for election reform -- state by state and county by county. In the meantime, I hope and pray that we can at least get some courts to hear these cases and then bring prosecutions. Otherwise, we are quite literally doomed to history.

Okay, enough Trump-olatry. I voted for the man twice, but over the past week he has gone completely around the bend.
What's the difference between the Trump partisans rioting at the Capitol and the ANTIFA and BLM partisans rioting in Portland? Morally there's no difference. Besides that, they destroyed any chance GOP Senators and Representatives had of starting an investigation, because they forced the joint session to adjourn. Stupid, stupid, stupid!
DJT should cut a deal with Pence the way Nixon did with Ford: He quits and Pence pardons him. Then all we have to deal with is 4 years of Senile Joe and Red Camelface.

No love for Mitch and his refusal to allow a vote on the stimulus checks hurt, but he is not married to a "ChiCom." His wife is Taiwanese. Taiwan is no friend of the PRC. They are holding on as best they can against a takeover, which may be coming in the Biden regime.

I am done. While I would love to see Donald Trump start a third party (maybe the MAGA Party) and run candidates across the board in 2022, the Demon-Rats have mastered the art of election stealing. So it won't really matter.

the turtle rant is a string of unsupported, fact-free, vague blurbs that add up to meaningless.
trump has his facts and evidence to hand. more importantly, these state legislators are the only ones designated by the Constitution w/ the powers to review and correct their own conclusions, in light of these new facts and proofs. yet, their petitions are ignored and maomao'd in a most scurrillous manner. how unconstitutional is that??

McConnell was partly responsible for the two Senatorial losses in Georgia. If you were a poor low information voter in Georgia who is in financial straights due to COVID who would you vote for, Democrats who want to hand you $2,000, or Republicans whose Senate leadership would only give you $600? That pocketbook issue should have been an easy one for the wimpy Republican Senate leaders to see. In essence that Senate standoff over the amounts of the stimulus checks only had to throw a few thousand votes the Democrats way for them to win and any political party that publicly denies or withholds money from potential voters a couple of weeks before an election is bound to lose.
