Dinesh D’Souza points out: “the GOP establishment must recognize there is no way forward without the Trump voters, and the Trump voters demand a challenge of the election results.” I would slightly disagree with the party linguistics, but essentially D’Souza has a point. Unfortunately, the GOPe doesn’t care. (Video) Also unfortunately the un-discussed aspect is the unity pact between both wings of the UniParty bird. The GOPe wants elimination of “Trump” supporters in exactly the same way the GOP wanted, and orchestrated, the elimination of the Tea Party. If America-First or “MAGA” ideology is the Republican brand, that means the elimination (ie. lots of republicans being primaried)

Like they care. What's funny is that they really believe that, post-Trump, we're coming back.

What the Uniparty banks on is the 'Beaten Spouse' method of rule. My dear departed Mother was a beaten wife, normally trying to protect us kids. She stayed with the father because she had no where else to go. As the years passed we ,one, by one , left the house and support was established.
THIS is the GOP, "Where are you going to go?" Uniparty is worse in that they just toss us back and forth.
PDJT is the *FIRST* child to leave the nest. He has exposed them for al who are willing to use their brain, to see.
The next problem is where are we going to set up shop/party so we truly COULD walk away?
( Epilogue: After kids were gone Father abandoned Mom, I moved her in with me, set her up in a small house where she lived until God took her home. I hope to the mansion she deserved. )
Addendum: I want to take this opportunity of the New Year to explain my spelling skills. I am a 3 fingered typist, I must watch the keyboard. As the years have gone by here on L.com I have watched my grammar and basic spelling errors just get worse. We DID once, have an option fro proof reading, that was lost in a budget somewhere :) I do miss it. I DO use a spellchecker and it does a great job unless my misspelled word happens to be ANOTHER word. Tonight I substituted is for it and in a single sentence made Lil' Abner look like an English Major in comparison. My Deepest apologies for those who try to divine my meaning from my typing, just another reason why I could never be published. But. There is a large number of us that know what is right. Even if we can't put it quite into words a normal human can understand, we..well we understand each other. My God bless your house in this new year. Stay safe, protected, and aware.)

The GOPe don't realize there will be NO MORE GOP or any other party for them to hold office. There will essentially be no more USA!!! Tyrants will get rid of all of them, I'd we don't. They fare a lot better with us than the Left. They SHOULD CARE.

To me the larger issue involves more than pro-Trump vs anti-Trump politics. The very foundational right of citizenship is that an individual citizen's legal vote be counted and only legal votes from all citizens be counted in total. That foundational right has been egregiously violated and the Republic Party has failed to respond, much less respond vigorously.

I guess these fools are waiting for Romney to ride in on a dead horse and save us from our ourselves. They need to look no further than the NFL or Fox News to see how that works out - never going back.

How dare anyone say that the Pubbie leadership is gutless and feckless? Just wait - - just wait - - Fightin' Roy Blunt and Bulldog John Thune - - our battling leaders in the Senate - - are just getting warmed up.
Once Fightin' Roy and Bulldog John get going - - there'll be no stopping them. Just you wait - - just you wait - - you'll see - - and then you'll be sorry!

I appreciate Dinesh trying to get the GOP establishment to act in their own self interest. I'm afraid he is underestimating their stupidity.
If they choose to allow American elections to forever be determined by the cheaters (and upheld by the courts and cheered on by the free press), they must be thinking that they too will just pay the price to get elected, vote as they are instructed, and continue to rake in the graft.
They will never get my vote again, and that includes my two "R" senators and congressman from Louisiana. But who cares how I vote - I might as well be in Venezuela -why bother to vote again!
My vote was stolen and the military votes were stolen. If the military needs to do something about that (even on American soil), so be it.

#2 Well said.
and when our government collapses on all of us - Republicans (e) and maga (r) , and Democrats and young and old - all of us - because it will be built on a foundation or corruption and coercion, then what will make it right again? Probably some group telling us what to wear, and where to work, and what to think. They will tell us how happy we all are and we better agree with them, or we will suffer some consequence. It will be worse than what we have now. And it can get worse, even for the Republican (e).

#2, I’ve been on this forum since the beginning and know perfectly well that we all make typos. It doesn’t matter - we are all intelligent enough to get what the poster is saying despite any mistakes. Kudos to you for your efforts here over the years!
Hubby and I had an early New Years dinner with our closest friends and family last evening. We are all very conservative and huge Trump supporters. At the dinner table we all agreed that, if the Republicans don’t act in our interest on January 6, none of us will ever vote in a national or state election again. We will hunker down and take care of ourselves and each other and the idiots in Washington be damned.

I don’t see them doing anything and I also don’t think it matters because there will never be another fair election. I left the Republican Party when Obama was elected and I never looked back. Elections from here on are going to be just for show.

Dinesh, we understand, sir. You certainly are preaching to a very large choir here.
I've gotten to know and respect a good many L.dotters here since I started participating in this great salon, 17 years ago well before Obie was installed. Occasionally, I actually do post a few interesting articles which pales in comparison to the exhaustive research and article postings that some of you do. Now that I enjoy the absolute joys of retirement, more time to become wiser.
Once again, special hat tip to Lucianne and her tireless staff for continuing to provide a top-rate way for us all to be informed of important events and to share our thoughts.
While it is impossible to show all of the posters and commenters whose journalistic research and opinions I value greatly, here's a partial list of those who I am grateful to for their very hard work in providing reason, common sense, and the truth. I am very sure I am missing a good many others, so please don't feel slighted that I didn't list you. Hats off to you, folks.

D'Souza makes great points. His documentaries never get the attention they should, but are excellent bell weathers of things to come, and are very accurate prognostications and premonitions of events and history to come.
He is too eloquent here-- he should just come on out and say it: If the GOP/RINOs do not stand against this election fraud, it's over for them!
THE BASE has had ENOUGH of the rigged shell game of the "elite", "establishment", "entitled", politicians of BOTH parties disregarding the PEOPLE they are supposed to serve instead of themselves.
We, the BASE, have reached the William Barrett Travis line.... the one where those in which a little over 180 person in the Alamo were sure to died to superior Mexican army forces, and he took his sword and made a long line and gave them the choice to cross the line and join him to defend the Alamo and buy precious time for Sam Houston's forces and the glory of an Independent Nation of Texas, or to leave on their own.
The GOP/RINOs think they can cut and run and we will support them. We have for so long because their opponents were so bad, and we would continue to vote them in. Considering that they have built massive "war chests" by making "deals" with the lobbyists and those who seek to get something from them after election, and the FACT that it is NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE to take out an incumbent while the challengers maul each other to death in primary elections, they have maintained their offices.
This is the tipping point for them-- they will become ENEMIES of the BASE if they do not support challenges to the OBVIOUS fraud, manipulation of tabulation, not properly allowing observers, allowing office holders and NOT LEGISLATURES to change election law to stand, and the interference of Fakebook to set out un-attended mail-'ballot' in drop off boxes, THEY WILL BE LEFT HIGH AND DRY FROM NOW ON.
The RINO party will have NO SUPPORT from the base going forward. Even though I am an elected official of the Republican party, I will pledge to have no loyalty to elected Republican officials who do not fight this INJUSTICE, and will resign my position of leadership.
I cannot continue to support those who put self interest after election by the BASE, who will not fight against corruption and infidelity to supporting and defending the RULE of LAW, and the precepts of the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Amendments part of it.
This is Travis Alamo "line in the sand" time for me. I for one, will be watching with great interest, and if we are betrayed on this, then it will be time for a 3rd party of Americans bolting from the slimy, corrupt, RINOs who do not honor their oaths.
What say you? Who's with me on this?

There is some cognitive dissonance setting in...MY Republican party is corrupt????
Damn right.
And between the armchair Rambos talking about watering the liberty tree with blood, and those who think contributing more to the GOP is the answer, nothing will happen much. As many like to repeat, would you rather have a Democrat in office?
Well, which do you prefer - open opposition or betrayal? Keep supporting these GOP heroes and...well, remember that definition of insanity.

I am ready for a new party with or without the challenge. The RINOS have already shown where they stand and if we have to browbeat them into doing what we want as a people then they have long outlasted their usefulness. I stopped giving to them years ago for the reason of a new party starting up.

If only our founders had thought ahead and given us some way to stop this. Oh wait, they did.
But it's so icky being called Rambo. Besides, many of us are up there in years and sitting pretty cozy with our 401Ks, so we can probably just ride it out for quite a while...

I'd like to reach out to Mushroom... poster #2....your spelling is not uncomfortable for me... I too am an uneducated poster who spent her life educating my children so they could succeed in this country... I unfortunately never finished my degree... the one quest I dreamed of... but... my mother had other plans for my life... I married the man who was from our church and of my ethnicity... my mother was thrilled and said to me..."each generation stands on the shoulders of the prior generation"...great wisdom in those words... this next generation of Americans are now aware of their job...thanks to the lefties...

Trump won the 2020 Election!!!
Joe Biden is a filthy, dirty communist.
Kamala slept her way to the top with a blind, old black man in San Francisco.
When He and Kamala become President in 2021, they will ship US TRUMP voters
to re-education camps to teach us more about Lenin, Marx, and murdering Stalin.
Trump should never concede.
He should fight for America until the cows come home!

Welcome, #18, to the rest of your Ldottage. May you really enjoy it. I retired in 2018 and have really enjoyed coming here first every day and not having to be stealth about it. I was fortunate to have med several Ldotters in person and cherish each contact. Also
I have come to lean on several more recent writers, D’Souza, Steve Grammatico, Shapiro, et al, at Daily Wire and Dr. Joondeph. They have helped my perspective, my sanity and my sense of humor along with the senior writers who have coached us along since the bye-gone days o the Blue Dress. Take notes and remember cut and past is your friend.

Trump supporters were expecting every court in the country to see what was plainly obvious. The fraud was not only obvious, it was out in the open and on video. Plus, there were hundreds of people who came forward who risked life and property to say so. The entire court system not only failed Trump supporters, it failed the country and the Constitution.
