78-year-old Joe Biden on Wednesday announced his ‘nominee’ for Secretary of Education. As usual, virtually no one watched Joe Biden’s press conference on Wednesday but we’re supposed to believe he got 81 million votes.Biden unveiled his plans to make most college degrees absolutely worthless.Joe Biden said, “Public colleges and universities are going to be tuition-free for families earning less than $125,000.”“Free” college tuitions and forgiving student loans only puts more strain on the average American taxpayer.

Ah, the party of lazy thinkers and unintended consequences.
A year from now we won’t even recognize this country.
God bless America.

So professors are going to teach for free? And the electric and water and gas companies are going to provide free power and water and gas to the colleges? All the other people that work at the colleges are going to do so as unpaid volunteers? And unpaid volunteers are going to do all the maintenance and repairs, and even provide the materials and supplies needed for free?
Unless the answer to all 4 of those questions is "yes", then there is nothing "free" about what Lyin' Joe Biden is saying here!!!! Of course I'm sure Creepy Uncle Joe Biden believes that tax dollars grow on trees, or just come from evil rich conservative people, so they can just pay for it all!!!

A free college education will be worth exactly what they pay for it.
And the taxpayers get abused, as usual.
You think College is expensive now? Just wait until it is 'free'.

Get paid to hang out for 4 or 6 years after hi skoo studying bLACK History or LGBTQ+ literary theory, all expenses paid, while driving up costs for everyone else because you know full well the schools will increase tuition and room and board out of sight when price is removed from the equation.

"Free" unless one attends a private Christian college, right, Uncle Joe? Then those kids and their families will pay full price in addition to their tax dollars paying for other kids to go "free."
Welcome to the United States of Resentment and Inequality.

I can't wait to sign up for my endeavor into puppetry arts. And after taking the few courses that are interesting I can just quit when I get bored. And besides, it wasn't like I was going to become another Jim Henson. I really don't have that kind of motivation. Same level of motivation as most of my classmates will have. Thanks Biden.

How nice. I suppose he’ll allow my mom to deduct from her next tax return the $100,000s she and my dad worked for and invested to send us and our kids to college, right? This is criminal.

Profs should make the same as elem and HS teachers. That's bennies and in many states about $50,000 per year. Remember when Pocahontas made over $300,000 for 1 class she taught?. NOT if college is free.

I'm 64, retired and head of my family. I make less than $125,000. Does that mean I can go to college for free? How wonderful for retirees. What fun it will be.

Everything is being nationalized, now education. The country is a socialist country. Trump tried to stop it, but he is only one person. The Republicans voted for socialism.

Maybe when I retire I will go to college for free just to keep busy. If I take notes in cursive writing the other students won't be able to copy my work since it's Hieroglyphics in their minds.

You get what you pay for. Btw, how will our government pay for this?
Our Communist masters plan on brainwashing all our children in all things politically correct. Our children will be able to spout all the politically correct talking points, but not able to land a job. Brainwashed people are easily forced in to slavery. Welcome to our brave new normal. None of this ends well folks.

We need education pods on the college level. One or two conservative professors to teach history, English and other courses, in small group settings, that radical liberal professors have been getting wrong for the past several years. Just as public school teachers are making themselves irrelevant by refusing to work, liberal college professors will be peeled away layer by layer as they charge huge prices for pitiful results. The only students left will be the ones getting the "free" education and the alumni funding will dry up.

There are insurmountable problems with Dementia Jo's proposal.
Here is but one example.
I taught at a state university in a graduate program, with a teaching load of 3 courses per semester. A friend from graduate school taught at a state university in another state, and complained about his teaching load of one course per semester. When I questioned him about his complaint, he explained that he taught Forestry within a School of Agriculture, and that the Ag professors had a teaching load of one course per year.
How would Dementia Jo equalize those teaching loads?
Here is one more example. I had excellent benefits, my friend not so much. My pension was far superior to his.
Equalize? How? Why would state governments even bother to control costs, with the feds paying?

Huh? Biden is going to increase taxes and increase regulation thus decreasing tax revenues; piggy-back that on the pandemic decimation of small businesses that were forced to close and the high unemployed numbers that are a result of their campaign strategies, pair that up with the huge increase in social programs backroom deals promised in exchange for votes, which includes the out-of-control unions, plus all of the manufacturing jobs going back to China and the increase in work visas to replace Americans high paying jobs, and let's not forget the climate change/Paris Treaty-gone-made-trillions to save the world, and there is the $50,000.00 write off student debt on day 1, and cancelling the student debt of $1.6 trillion dollars (which is a 2019 figure) and now he if going to cut out from the workforce all those who would never consider college but are smart enough to want to take advantage the "free" college" - for as long as they can with no return on the investment. I wonder if that offer includes post graduate degrees as well.
No, that's not all - there is the reparations for every one and anyone who is not white, and compensate the native Americans for their land we took from them, and the Mexicans also need to be compensated for their land we took from them.
And here I thought 2020 was a tough year.
We have been a light unto the world, a beacon of hope to the oppressed, to those dreaming, praying that they might get the chance to, one day, make it to our shores - to be free, to keep what they make; to worship freely and not to whomever their master tell them. I pray for those people, we are all they have. Those people came here, asked nothing more than to be given a chance, and they built a great nation. We let it slip away. Maybe President Trump can hold them off - like those at the Alamo - to give us time to turn this around. I pray for him constantly, and for our nation. I pray we don't let it go.

This is fantastic, but why stop there? We can all have our mortgages eliminated, eat ice cream for every meal and grocery stores will just let you take to food for free! And Commerce Secretary Oprah will announce you get a car, you get a car...
And don’t worry, someone else will pay for it.

What a deal this might be for me. I paid for the work-related classes I needed, got 4.0 grades and worked myself into a nice retirement. Does this mean I can go back now and get a free degree? I wonder how they will get around the age-discrimination rules?

Remember, Tuition will be free. But then you start to add on Student Activity fees, There will be a new surcharge on books allowed on campus, payable each semester and no used permitted (no way to xfer the electronic books). Multitude of increased fees anywhere from Parking to , remember that free shuttle bus? That's gone and there will be security fees to ensure the campus is , well if not protected, patrolled... Sorry but I think you get the point.

I work at a university and one of the perks is I can take a class for free each semester. So I take a look at the syllabuses of some of the classes and almost all of them are full of jargon. I can't even take a class in film without it being stuffed full of feminist theory. So I check out books and educate myself.
