Congress has agreed to a $900 billion coronavirus relief package, Senate leaders announced Sunday. The deal finally delivers long-overdue help to businesses and individuals and provides money to deliver vaccines to a nation eager for them. It establishes a temporary $300 per week supplemental jobless benefits and $600 direct stimulus payments to most Americans - half of what they got in April - along with a new round of subsidies for hard-hit businesses and money for schools, health care providers and renters facing eviction. The House was expected to vote on the legislation very late Sunday or Monday and Senate action would follow. The House would also pass a one-day

Personal spite has driven her.

This is why the dims are so committed to Covid -- its a nothing burger, but its their ticket to everything government. Big giveaways. They are hoping to get debt so high that they will "have to" raise taxes on working people to DIG us out of the hole.

Don't forget to set aside enough of your $600 to cover income tax on it next year.

These stupid, stupid, stupid subsidies and bailouts play right into the leftist strategy.
The American people don't need subsidies and bailouts - - we need to come and go as we please - - just as the Constitution says we can.
What the idiot Pubbies should be fighting for are our rights under the Constitution - - not some half-assed, leftist, big government bailouts.

This will be short term good for my stocks but better for everyone is if they gave up on the "covid is going to,I'll us alllll!!!" fear porn and let people go back to work.
Democratic leadership certainly isn't afraid of covid at a personal level given their indoor dining, travel, and hair styling adventures.

It would be much better if we let our small businesses go OB
Who needs them?
I don't. I've already got lots of money from my grandfather and my uncle.
No government money for anyone!

$600.00 won't be help .much
wonder if the IRS will consider it "income" after all and levy a tax on it. wouldn't put it past them.
we talk about foreign nations being our enemies, not the case. our Congress is out most dangerous enemy. and if loeffler and perdue win their election they better remember who put them back in office. they owe the American people in a big way.

Oh yay ! Nancy can go home and eat ice cream while others won't have Christmas and become evicted soon.
See why you need to have seven kids now (at $600 each) ?

I see no mention of the additional 1.4 trillion dollars for other political projects.
Out of the nine billion for supposed small business relief only one third goes to
the people who need it. The uniparty is pushing the Reset button with money we
don't have. Who is for boycottiing the IRS next April?

This plan is as terrible as giving hospital and medical facilities additional money if they indicate that this person died of COVID. This is crazy, who in the h#ll came up with that crap.

So I get to pay thousands in taxes for a meager $600? Stuff that. And as sole proprietor of my business I didn’t qualify for a single penny of relief while Ilan Omar’s husband got hundreds of thousands.

I read where Tom Brady's company or group got almost a million dollars the first time around so he went out and bought a two million dollar yacht. Why didn't the money go to the people who really needed it like the restaurants and their staff or other small business owners instead of the rich and famous. This is all a hoax and a way of keeping the rich happy and the poor down. Our Congress is a total failure!

I speak (government) Jive. Allow me to translate.
The federal government doesn't have any money. None. It's more broke than you are. But it is able to give itself a bigger, better credit card whenever it needs one. So this new Black Diamond Card is being used after it maxed out its Platinum Card, which replaced its maxed out Gold Card, etc., etc. And this new card is mainly being used to bail out the totally broke Blue Cities and Blue States, which pretty much allowed themselves to be burned down in order to beat #OrangeManBad. It's kind of an urban renewal by burning and looting strategy. Anyway, the $600 is to keep you distracted from the new looting-without-the-burning they're about to do.
