Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and running mate Kamala Harris both advocated for strict new gun control measures during a remembrance for the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting in 2012. On Monday, the eighth anniversary of the attack, Biden released a statement in which he called gun violence a “national health crisis,” leading some to believe he may, as president, use that as a basis for new executive action on firearms. “To the grandparents, parents, siblings, children, spouses, and fellow broken and healing hearts of Sandy Hook, I know,” the statement said.

Once we were labeled as "Birthers".....we did the polite thing and thought better of arguing with crazy people. This is why they've been releasing all the criminals from prison blaming it on Covid prevention. They intentionally want crime to spike all across the country so they can blame it on guns and start taking executive actions against guns. They are playing the long game while republicans just worry about getting along.

Since you want to make it impossible for Americans to defend themselves against criminals, a good first step to prove you are one with us, would be to disarm the Secret Service. That way you would have skin in the game.

This has noting to do with protecting lives, children's or otherwise. No gang-banger is going to go to the cops to sell his unmarked 45 for a $50 coupon to somewhere. As poster #9 already said, the felon releases and encouragement of the ANTIFA and BLM riots are to keep the populace scared and 'in need of protection'.. (Did I also hear covid virus?) Citing numbers and logical arguments don't work with gun-grabbers. They know damn well WE are right but they have to change our collective mind about guns, but barring that, they will use force to take them. You know what many people would give up for imagined safety.

Gun are easy and there are people who are predisposed to go the easy route to do evil. Take away the guns - suppose knives become the new weapon of choice? But take away guns from those who use guns for means of protection (like from leaders who will cheat and steal to gain power over people who CAN protect themselves) and Viola! The easy route to political evil just got easier.

I thought Democrats had already started to control the gun violence in cities like Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland and others by defunding the police. That was suppose to marshal in social justice and end the violence by promoting understanding and crises intervention instead of brute law enforcement.

This is the the opportunity to pick a battle that, if won, could, overnight, start shrinking the administrative state. The federal government's regulation of firearms comes from it's unconstitutional overly expansive interpretation of the Commerce Clause. This is the same corruption that is the basis for every alphabet agency in DC. Let them attempt more gun regulation. Then attack it, not on an infringement of 2A rights, but on their inability to make ANY regulation on anything that's not expressly granted by our Constitution.

The firearms violence and resulting health crisis have been perpetrated in huge numbers almost exclusively by the criminals in the Democrat run big city Black ghettos and those are the places that the Biden-Harris crew should target, but those criminals won’t obey any gun control laws. But you know that as sure as night follows day that instead the Biden-Harris crew will target law abiding gun owners in conservative and rural areas, places outside those big city ghettos that have no firearms violence to any degree, like Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, Texas and Wyoming. If the Biden-Harris crew makes it into the White House, besides targeting law abiding gun owners, their other objective will be to destroy the conservative firearms and allied industries across the USA that will cost untold numbers of well paying jobs.

New gun control? Why not just enforce current laws including existing gun laws? These already exist and are followed by the typical gun owner. Laws don't stop the criminal or mentally compromised shooters. Yet you turn these people back out on the streets. Gun control is dem words for confiscation. And why are they so eager to disarm the citizens? Easier to control the populace. SOP for communists around the world.

The gun topic never came up in the Presidential debates, nor in the VP debate. That was deliberate, as we can conclude with confidence that the biden campaign issued a directive to networks and debate moderators to never mention gun control. Democrats apparently learned from their mistakes, for in 2000 gun control likely lost the election for gore. And, in 2016, according to analysis by Fred Barnes, cost Hillary the Rust Belt states. Now the democrats are chomping for gun control. They can only chip away at the margins of the Second Amendment with executive orders. But if we lose the Senate, grab a tight rein. These democrat tyrants mean business.

The "national health crisis" will become their go-to method to circumvent constitutional rights. They've seen how easily people submitted with the coronavirus lockdowns and how little the courts have done to stop them. I've seen this proposed for both "gun violence" and climate change. More malarkey from this ship of fools. Maybe they should put justice back in to criminal justice if they really want to reduce crime. This is clearly about power and control. We are on a clear path to socialism/communion if the uni-party swamp rats are allowed to steal our rights. The Wuhan Flu edicts were plainly unconstitutional but the Enemedia portrayed them as necessary, common sense precautions that superceded our constitutional liberties. The Flu was just the dress rehearsal for a comprehensive government takeover of our rights. Now the Left's wish list of government controls can be justified by the rationale of public health. Hello gun confiscations, green new deal elimination of internal combustion engines, banning fossil fuels for energy, racialist redistribution of wealth, and gender fluidity in our el-hi schools. As far as the Fascist Left is concerned, "you aint't seen nothin' yet."

The first inkling Americans had that there was something going on with voting machines came when Antrim County, Michigan admitted that its computer had a "glitch" and gave 6,000 Trump votes to Biden. County officials quickly backtracked, calling it "human error," but it was too late. The computer fraud cat was out of the bag. Now, thanks to a judge pushing past the Michigan secretary of state's effort to suppress information, we can finally see the preliminary forensics report on Antrim County's Dominion systems. This post summarizes the highlights. Russell Ramsland, of Allied Security Operations Group, LLC (ASOG), wrote the report.

I’m a pandemic skeptic. I know the Wuhan virus is real and very dangerous for some people. Still, I cannot get excited about a disease with an average 99% survival rate. I believe the Democrats weaponized the virus to defeat President Trump, and I think that Democrats are still working the virus to weaken working- and middle-class Americans (i.e., Trump supporters) while enriching the Democrats' corporate cronies. I’m cynical, paranoid, or a realist – or all three. This weekend, information emerged supporting my viewpoint. We keep being told that Americans are dying like flies, far in excess of their normal numbers. I accept that there are excess deaths.

President-elect Joe Biden said he suspects a political agenda is the driving force behind accusations surrounding the federal tax investigation into his son Hunter. "We have great confidence in our son. I'm not concerned about any accusations that have been made against him. It's used to get to me. I think it's kind of foul play, but look, it is what it is," the incoming president told CBS's The Late Show on Thursday. Biden added, "And he's a grown man. He is the smartest man I know, I mean, in pure intellectual capacity. As long as he's good, we're good." Then host Stephen Colbert asked the president-elect whether any

Acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller ordered a Pentagon-wide halt to cooperation with the transition of President-elect Biden, shocking officials across the Defense Department, senior administration officials tell Axios. Behind the scenes: A top Biden official was unaware of the directive. Administration officials left open the possibility cooperation would resume after a holiday pause. The officials were unsure what prompted Miller’s action, or whether President Trump approved. Why it matters: Miller’s move, which stunned officials throughout the Pentagon, was the biggest eruption yet of animus and mistrust toward the Biden team from the top level of the Trump administration.  Correction*

New polling in the highly contested Georgia Senate runoffs shows both Republican incumbents with an edge. What’s more, the new Emerson College Polling survey shows very little “crossover” voting by partisans, suggesting that voters are locked in to their choices. Both Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler lead their opponents Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock 51%-48%. That 3-point margin is within the margin of error in the poll. But it suggests that as the race tightens, the GOP still has an edge. And when combined with little movement by voters, it is a good sign for the Republicans and their hopes to maintain control

Virginia’s special history commission on Wednesday picked Barbara Rose Johns, a lesser-known civil rights pioneer who led an early school desegregation effort, as the figure it wants to send to Washington to replace the state’s current statue of Robert E. Lee in the hallowed halls of the U.S. Capitol. Brushing aside suggestions of founding-era heroes such as James Madison or Patrick Henry, and 20th Century statesman George C. Marshall, the commission said it wanted someone schoolchildren would identify with—and Johns, who was a teen in 1951 led a strike at her Virginia high school to demand facilities like white students had,

President-elect Joe Biden said he has 'great confidence' in his son Hunter and is not concerned about investigations into his tax affairs during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Last week it was revealed that Hunter was under federal investigation for his taxes and business dealings in the Ukraine in a probe kept secret before the election by Attorney General Bill Barr. Biden defended his son to Colbert on Thursday night alongside wife Jill, saying: 'I'm not concerned about any accusations made against him. It used to get to me. 'I think it's kind of foul play. But, uh, look, it is what it is.

The Army chief of staff was forced to issue a statement Friday stating the military has 'no role' in determining U.S. elections after Mike Flynn, a close former aide to President Trump, demanded martial law. Flynn downplayed the importance of using military power to oversee political change, and in an interview called for using military 'capabilities' to oversee a rerun of the election in states Trump lost. On Friday Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy and Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville responded with a statement asserting the military's long-held position against involving in U.S. political decisions. 'There is no role for the U.S. military
