The principal of a Pennsylvania elementary school who was fired after being accused of posting politically conservative posts on to her personal Facebook account is suing to get her job back along with $500,000 for the 'emotional turmoil' she has been put through.
Amy Sacks, who had been a teacher for 20 years posted on Thanksgiving Day that the Perkiomen Valley School District and Superintendent Barbara Russell 'decided that the First Amendment Freedom of Speech has no place in public schools and that teachers and administrators are unfit to serve if they hold and express political beliefs that are right of center'.

This is really easy to sort out. Had the parties been switched, would the School District have acted the same? I think not.

This will be the norm if Joe Biden is successful in stealing this election. You will comply with whatever narrative the radicals are preaching at the time or else. I am glad to see that she is fighting this and wish her well.
Censorship has been bearing down on this country since the media have gone to the dark side and it will not change anytime soon. The radicals will make sure your life is ruined if you do not comply with the party line. One thing that is not in question is the fact that we will see very dark times if Biden is anointed by the SCOTUS. God please deliver us from that possibility.

The potato meme is great!
This is one smart and clever lady! I suspect her superintendent looked for any excuse to fire her because maybe, Sacks talked circles around her at meetings. Liberal bureaucrats are no match against those with a free and unfettered spirit!

First of all, WHY does anyone still have a facebook account? Conservatives are set up just by posting their thoughts. The cancel culture uses social media as a method of fact finding and attack.

That district is not far from me. I never heard about this until a British newspaper runs the story?

She'd better make sure her lawyers judge shop. We have a lot of work to do to get our country back. They (the Marxists) didn't build this; they never do.

I voted for a potato twice and they both lost to Obama. If a teacher is behaving appropriately their students should have no idea which party they favor. They also have a right to a life outside the classroom and social media provides all a window into that life so now what? No doubt that had she been evangelizing for communism; no harm no foul.

If she's been teaching as long as the article says she has, there's a little thing called "tenure" as well. Russell should lose her job, and a significant portion of her salary as well, in damages, in addition to the District getting slapped for promoting such an attitude.
Of course, this is America where the Politburo is hidden in plain sight. The Commies may just hold a kangaroo court and fine the injured teacher for daring to waste their time.

I would choose a comparison less flattering than a potato. Something resembling the end product after a potato is digested!

A potato would be more effective.
I don’t know what else she may have said on Facebook, but I doubt that her firing would hold up in court. But she really should know better by now not to post much of anything on Facebook!

Yet that foul excuse for a Bend Oregon teacher will probably manage to keep her job, even though she went on that epic rant a few days ago.

If this isn’t a wrongful termination, I can’t think what would be. Good for her for suing. She should have asked for more $$$$$$$$$.
