President-elect Joe Biden on Wednesday called on Americans not to gather with extended families for Thanksgiving, saying it was a “patriotic duty” to limit the spread of COVID-19. Biden said during an at times campaign-like speech in Wilmington, Del., that he and his family were setting an example by not celebrating the holiday as a large group. “This year we are asking Americans to forgo so many of the traditions that we’ve long made this holiday,” Biden said. “This year, because we care so much for each other, we’re going to be having a separate Thanksgiving for Jill and I, who will be at our home in Delaware with

We will be having a gathering peaceful protesters. We also will be feeding a few of the hungry peaceful protesters, and thanking God for giving us this great country. We will also be asking God to continue to bless this nation with true patriots. Most likely will end our peaceful protest with “God bless America” loud and clear.

Totally freaking out he might catch it and absolutely convinced that if he does catch it he will die. He called me this evening and he told me his family has canceled Thanksgiving. Just to be safe. His kids and grandkids and siblings are all staying home and not coming for the annual get together tomorrow. Instead they are going to get take out at Arbys and looking forward to those new deep fried Turkey sandwiches. Seriously lame I tell you.

The fake news media desiganted president elect * (fraud) is showing us how the nation's downfall could start under an * (fraud) administration by doing away with the observance of American traditions, through fear mongering and scare tactics. The Chinese flu is a danger to specific age groups with pre-existing condition but look what the fear mongers are doing to the lives of young, healthy and vigorous Americans. The Chinese flu's low hospitalization and intensive care rates of people without pre-existing conditions do not in any way warrant such drastic measures that are being forced on the nation by the control freaks that have ulterior motives to force us to cower in fear and accept without question their draconian edicts. I think the right course is for Americans to be cautious and observe the safe practices that medical professionals recommend. But to live in abject fear of being around others is not the answer. "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself"

There is an old saying and it goes like this: Elections have consequences. Biden is showing the consequences of his possibly becoming president. The actions he plans to take, and the people he's naming for his cabinet. It spells disaster for this country. The Senate races in Georgia are now the key. If the Republicans can prevail then the left leaning agenda can be stopped. But the theft of both those seats is very much in play. Wake up GOP. The future of this country depends on a take no prisoners approach in campaigning. It's time to play hard ball.

COVID Shutdowns and Masks 9 replies

Many are hysterical over the second COVID wave that has hit a number of states, and governors are responding with harsh shutdown orders. Here in Minnesota, Governor Tim Walz blames our citizens for not wearing masks, deeming it self-evident that if his brilliant anti-viral strategies are not working, the fault must lie with us. That is, to the extent that the fault does not lie with our neighboring states; the Sturgis motorcycle rally, along with Wisconsin’s more laissez faire approach, has assumed a Goldstein-like level of villainy in the Walz administration’s press briefings. I’ve noticed today that the left is in a fury about the Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling last night striking down New York’s wholly arbitrary restrictions on churches and other places of worship because the Court is “ignoring the advice of the experts.” True indeed. I could go on at some length about old cases involving the arbitrary (and therefore unconstitutional) use of the government’s police power, but in this case it is worth dwelling for a moment on this rote belief that the Court should defer to the “experts” in the other branches about restricting fundamental constitutional rights, like religious liberty. The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.
