ballots

The national conservative group Amistad Project filed an emergency petition Tuesday with the Wisconsin Supreme Court challenging the state’s unofficial results in the 2020 presidential election, saying it has identified over 150,000 potentially fraudulent ballots. Results from the Nov. 3 balloting in the state show Democratic candidate Joe Biden defeated President Trump by a roughly 20,000-vote margin. Phill Kline, director of the Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society, said the number of potentially fraudulent ballots identified are “more than enough to call into question the validity of the state’s reported election results.” “Moreover, these discrepancies were a direct result of Wisconsin election officials’ willful violation of state law,” he also said.

Where is the text of the emergency petition? Anyone can file any petition they want. This is not news unless the petition includes some believable real evidence.

Indeed, petition is not synonymous with lawsuit. Heck, I signed a petition just last week to recall our governor. But it's better than nothing.

Isn't a petition in the courts what you do to get a lawsuit started, poster #3? This seems like a big deal to me. I'm asking because I really don't know. Thanks.

This is NOT like a public opinion petition. It is a formal legal petition to a court seeking a specific action.

First the Court will have to grant the Amistad Project "standing" before their petition for redress will be accepted. That it itself could go either way. The Courts don't seem to want the responsibility of deciding on election fraud issues. Whether it's out of fear of the mobs, or political philosophy, who can tell.

From the second year that we were in this country, we have celebrated Thanksgiving as all Americans do. In the first year, we were invited to some friends' house. We took their hospitality as an example, and we have tried to do the same during the Thanksgiving holiday. We invite anybody who wants to be invited, from college students to friends who, like us, immigrated to this country. We do not have any family members here in the U.S. but invite friends to experience this shared American holiday. We share our fried turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry chutney,

President Donald Trump has encouraged Americans to gather and offer thanks for the “the abundant blessings in our lives” in celebration of Thanksgiving. In a proclamation ahead of the national holiday, Trump urged Americans to commemorate the country’s “founding traditions of faith, family, and friendship, and give thanks for the principles of freedom, liberty, and democracy.” It is a custom for presidents to issue proclamations celebrating national holidays. His comments also called on Americans to “gather, in homes and places of worship, to offer a prayer of thanks to God for our many blessings,” which has received scrutiny from the media for contravening public health expert advice and guidance.

I find it fascinating that former President Obama chose this moment in time to write and publish his book, Promised Land. He could have had it released a year before the elections, or a year from now, once another administration had been settled. Instead, he decided to ride the coattails of the election, as though he had won another term, and capitalize on someone else’s momentum. Obama the 2008 candidate came off as likeable, but that was clearly an act. Obama the 44th President and Obama post-presidency is an insufferable jerk who doesn’t know when to leave the stage.

Vermont Gov. If Anthony Fauci made another dramatic plea about COVID and nobody listened, would he really make a sound? Better: If nobody other than the Democrat Party and the liberal lapdog media listened, and clapped like trained seals in response to everything he said? The latter was the case on Wednesday morning when Fauci hooked up with Scooter George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “Good Morning America” in an attempt to scare tens of millions of Americans into “sacrificing” their Thanksgiving in the name of all-things COVID. Stephy lobbed a softball right down the middle of the plate for the attention-whoring emerging and infectious diseases expert, which he promptly hit into the left-field stands.

As we recall, following the death of Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in September, President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell ignored protestations from Democrats and the liberal media — no; in spite of histrionic Democrats and the hysterical barking hyenas of the liberal media — and successfully powered through the nomination and confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to fill Ginsburg’s seat. Mission accomplished. Expeditiously so. Then in late October, as reported by the Daily Wire, conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt interviewed McConnell about filling Barrett’s vacated seat on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, along with other vacant seats — present and future — throughout the post-election lame-duck term.

Who had a governor is going to shut down grocery stores due to the pandemic on their 2020 coronavirus bingo card? If you did, stamp that square. The governor of New Mexico is shutting down grocery stores in her state over COVID-19 testing results. Just when we thought that liquor sales restrictions in Pennsylvania by Governor Wolf were arbitrary and, frankly, stupid, along comes Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham in New Mexico with a “hold my beer” response. She has shut down a dozen grocery stores across the state. Why would a governor make such a draconian move?

This is one of those news items that was almost immediately relegated to the category of “local news,” but it really shouldn’t have been. The tragic story in question took place in South Los Angeles over the weekend. The LAPD just announced that they’ve reached the grim milestone of 300 murders in a single year for the first time in over a decade. And there are still five weeks to go. One of the victims of those murders was 15-year-old Carl Jackson Jr. He was an honor roll student at his school with no “police involvement” in his background and what seemed like a bright future ahead of him.

Recount watchers were also issued wrist bands with poop emojis to wear, in a sign of how seriously this is being taken. [Tweets] The unopened ballots came from a South side ward, according to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Mary Spicuzza. So far, in the first four days of the recount, lawyers for the Trump campaign have challenged tens of thousands of ballots. Joe Biden is ahead in the state by only about 20,000 votes. The deadline for Wisconsin to certify its election results is Dec. 1.

According to the media, Trump and his deplorables are doing a great disservice to the nation by demanding assurances about the integrity of the 2020 presidential election. After all, Joe Biden has been all but inaugurated by news personalities and the Democratic Party, and the social media censors have assured us that there's no evidence of any wrongdoing, so it's obviously just a waste of time and energy to mull the outlandish possibility that Americans are the victims of what Biden described (either carelessly or carefully) as the "most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics."

The court ruled 5-4 to bar Cuomo from enforcing his Oct. 6 “Cluster Initiative” against houses of worship that sued to challenge the restrictions. Barrett, who was President Trump's third Supreme Court nominee, joined the court Oct. 27, after winning Senate confirmation following the Sept. 18 death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
