Fauci Makes Final Desperate Plea: 'Sacrifice'
Your Thanksgiving Because COVID, America

Original Article

If Anthony Fauci made another dramatic plea about COVID and nobody listened, would he really make a sound? Better: If nobody other than the Democrat Party and the liberal lapdog media listened, and clapped like trained seals in response to everything he said? The latter was the case on Wednesday morning when Fauci hooked up with Scooter George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “Good Morning America” in an attempt to scare tens of millions of Americans into “sacrificing” their Thanksgiving in the name of all-things COVID. Stephy lobbed a softball right down the middle of the plate for the attention-whoring emerging and infectious diseases expert, which he promptly hit into the left-field stands.

Comments:

Frankly, the Covid Nazi can bite my fluffy arse at this point!!

Too late. Families all here, no masks, no social distancing, no covid discussions, and no one's talking about you. So, sacrifice your mouth and your advice for the good of all of US, do as you're told, and shut up!

It's ok, Tony. We're all going to be fine because if everyone, like we are, just posts a sign on their front door that says "The French Laundry", we can have as many people without masks as we'd like. The president has been set by Governor Prissy and his ilk all over the country. Get with the program Dr. Fauci. Have the CDC print the "French Laundry" signs for everyone and there will be zero COVID problems on Turkey Day.

I was eleven years old in November 1960 when my father and I watched Richard Nixon concede the presidential election to John F. Kennedy. My father, a former FBI agent, shook his head. “Another victory for Mayor Daley of Chicago,” he said. “What does that mean?” I asked. “It means Mayor Daley stole the election,” he answered. “Then why doesn’t Nixon do something about it?” I asked indignantly. “Because it would tear the country apart, and no one wants that.” “Why not?” “It doesn’t work that way,” he replied. “Nixon is being a gentleman.” Of course, it wasn’t just my dad who felt that way.

On Friday, news broke that President Trump removed several members of the Defense Department’s civilian Defense Policy Board. This follows hard on the heels of his decision to fire Defense Secretary Mark Esper. The question is why now? I’ve heard some interesting, informal theories suggesting that this has to do with those Scytl machines in Germany. On November 9, President Trump fired Defense Secretary Mark Esper. In some ways, as Breitbart notes, it was a “long-anticipated move”: The relationship between Trump and Esper soured quickly after Esper preempted the president by declaring he did not support using active-duty forces to restore peace during a summer of violent riots.

On Friday, President Trump tweeted something important. He asserted that Biden must prove that his votes did not result from fraud. People scoffed, but as a practical matter, Trump is correct. Most people know about the different burdens of proof a plaintiff carries in court. In descending order of intensity, they are “beyond a reasonable doubt,” “clear and convincing evidence,” and “preponderance of evidence.” Practically, speaking, though what do those mean? Imagine that the plaintiff and the defendant are on opposite sides of a tennis court. The plaintiff serves first. With that first serve, the plaintiff has to get his evidence – his proof about the facts he’s alleging --

President Donald Trump has encouraged Americans to gather and offer thanks for the “the abundant blessings in our lives” in celebration of Thanksgiving. In a proclamation ahead of the national holiday, Trump urged Americans to commemorate the country’s “founding traditions of faith, family, and friendship, and give thanks for the principles of freedom, liberty, and democracy.” It is a custom for presidents to issue proclamations celebrating national holidays. His comments also called on Americans to “gather, in homes and places of worship, to offer a prayer of thanks to God for our many blessings,” which has received scrutiny from the media for contravening public health expert advice and guidance.

I find it fascinating that former President Obama chose this moment in time to write and publish his book, Promised Land. He could have had it released a year before the elections, or a year from now, once another administration had been settled. Instead, he decided to ride the coattails of the election, as though he had won another term, and capitalize on someone else’s momentum. Mission accomplished. Expeditiously so. Thanksgiving is over. Many people celebrated with just their household unit, but many others did not. In fact, up to 50 million Americans are traveling over the Thanksgiving weekend, according to the American Automobile Association, or AAA. The comings and goings of US travelers belie the fact that the Covid-19 pandemic continues to surge. The US reported 2,046 deaths Wednesday -- the highest one-day coronavirus death toll the country has reported since early May, Johns Hopkins University data shows. The country also hit a new daily hospitalization record, with 89,954 people currently hospitalized for Covid-19, according to the Covid Tracking Project.
