Biden turns to “polite and orderly

I wanted to write a hard-hitting post about Joe Biden’s selections for key foreign policy jobs — Antony Blinken (Secretary of State), Alejandro Mayorkas (Secretary of Homeland Security), and Avril Haines (Director of National Intelligence). Then I found out that three Republican Senators have already done the work. According to the Washington Post, Sen. Tom Cotton called this collection “panda huggers who will only reinforce [Biden’s] instincts to go soft on China.” Sen. Josh Hawley calls the three “a group of corporatists and war enthusiasts — and #BigTech sellouts.” Sen. Marco Rubio gets the prize. He describes them “polite and orderly caretakers of America’s decline.”

It's unfair to the rest of the world that our freedom, hard work and spirit have resulted in the United States becoming a bastion of hope for the rest of the world's freedom loving people. Definitely need to put a nail in that coffin. -- Biden 2020

For a guy who wouldn't come out of his basement and campaigned less than anyone in history and seemed to be close to a nursing home, he hasn't shut up since the 'alleged' win. How is that ? Did they keep him out of sight to avoid losing all votes ? If there is any decline, it will be under the Obola redux.

COVID Shutdowns and Masks 1 reply

Many are hysterical over the second COVID wave that has hit a number of states, and governors are responding with harsh shutdown orders. Here in Minnesota, Governor Tim Walz blames our citizens for not wearing masks, deeming it self-evident that if his brilliant anti-viral strategies are not working, the fault must lie with us. That is, to the extent that the fault does not lie with our neighboring states; the Sturgis motorcycle rally, along with Wisconsin’s more laissez faire approach, has assumed a Goldstein-like level of villainy in the Walz administration’s press briefings. President Trump on Thursday said he would leave the White House on Jan. 20 if the Electoral College declares President-elect Joe Biden the winner of the election, but indicated he was not prepared to concede defeat. "Certainly I will. And you know that,” said Trump when asked if he would leave the White House if the Electoral College voted for Biden. He added, “If they do, they made a mistake.” “It’s going to be a very hard thing to concede,” Trump told reporters during a press call on Thursday. It was the first time Trump has taken questions directly from reporters since the election

Parler CEO John Matze had some harsh criticism for Facebook after it was revealed that they employed a secret algorithm to boost left-leaning media outlets on its platform. It seems like yet another issue that will motivate conservatives to migrate over to alternative social media organizations like Matze’s company. During an appearance on “Fox & Friends,” Matze reacted to a reported published by The New York Times outlining Facebook’s conduct in the aftermath of the presidential election. The report alleged that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg decided to change the platform’s algorithm after Nov 3 to push corporate media outlets like CNN to the forefront. The change “resulted in a spike

I’ve noticed today that the left is in a fury about the Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling last night striking down New York’s wholly arbitrary restrictions on churches and other places of worship because the Court is “ignoring the advice of the experts.” True indeed. I could go on at some length about old cases involving the arbitrary (and therefore unconstitutional) use of the government’s police power, but in this case it is worth dwelling for a moment on this rote belief that the Court should defer to the “experts” in the other branches about restricting fundamental constitutional rights, like religious liberty. Maybe more to the liking of liberals

Mr. Trump’s get-tough approach toward China — tariffs and prohibitions on Beijing’s cyberproducts — is generally counter to the Cohen Group’s objective of bringing Chinese and U.S. companies together in multimillion dollar deals. The Cohen Group, founded by former Defense Secretary William Cohen and staffed by a number of former high-ranking government and military leaders, has two of its four overseas offices in China.

President-elect Joe Biden on Wednesday called on Americans not to gather with extended families for Thanksgiving, saying it was a “patriotic duty” to limit the spread of COVID-19. Biden said during an at times campaign-like speech in Wilmington, Del., that he and his family were setting an example by not celebrating the holiday as a large group. “This year we are asking Americans to forgo so many of the traditions that we’ve long made this holiday,” Biden said. “This year, because we care so much for each other, we’re going to be having a separate Thanksgiving for Jill and I, who will be at our home in Delaware with

Because the pandemic has given Democrats and liberals in the news media yet more reason to be self-important, we've been hearing nonstop in recent weeks that families should forego holiday gatherings this year. It should be done, we're told, so that we can more quickly return to normal (psych!) and "keep each other safe." Like almost everything else we've been lectured about, the advisement comes with that condescending tone perfected by Democrats and "experts" who believe in their hearts that people can't evaluate their own unique circumstances and make the best choices for themselves without the nagging. But, of course, they can.

States will begin receiving the first doses of COVID-19 vaccines in mid-December, but will make their own determinations on who will be first in line for a shot. An estimated 6.4 million doses of Pfizer’s vaccine will be distributed to states and territories by mid-December, assuming it receives Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorization by that point, Operation Warp Speed officials told reporters Tuesday. State officials were notified Friday how many doses they should expect to receive in the initial distribution, and they will make their own decisions about who will be prioritized for the first doses.

The court ruled 5-4 to bar Cuomo from enforcing his Oct. 6 “Cluster Initiative” against houses of worship that sued to challenge the restrictions. Barrett, who was President Trump's third Supreme Court nominee, joined the court Oct. 27, after winning Senate confirmation following the Sept. 18 death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
