The Texas National Guard has been deployed to El Paso to help manage the number of bodies at morgues due to the coronavirus pandemic. El Paso is a hot spot with a spike in cases. The border city has received the help of a 36-member team from the Texas National Guard to help out in the morgues. The Texas National Guard team replaces jail inmates who were being used, volunteers who helped move bodies. In El Paso, 855 people have died since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, 300 since October. Local leaders are offering increased pay to try and recruit more morgue workers.

Why do Guard members have to do this instead of volunteer prisoners? Are they considered more suited to menial, unpleasant work than convicted criminals?

I think Democrats should be REQUIRED to handle these cases. They keep enticing them to come here. They are the virtuous, compassionate ones. I say, let them own it, run it 24x7. And since they also mistrust the vaccines developed by #OrangeManBad, no need for them to have any of it. More for us deplorables.

Since El Paso is a borderline city, chances are the majority of the deceased are not US citizens.

Living near El Paso, I'm sure most of these deaths are mexicans who came across the border to get their "free" healthcare in our hospitals. We can't even go to the emergency room without having to share the waiting room with whole mexican families. They bring everyone, the wife, the kids, grandma. The kids are playing and jumping on the chairs, if not crying or screaming, and never told to behave themselves. Celebrate the Diversity.

It has been reported for at least a month that US Ambulances heading south crossing the Mexican border & bring back Mexican nationals who were sick with the Covid. The whistle blowers say that 10 to 15 runs are made a day to bring the Mexicans to El Paso hospitals.

Oh yes #10, but you are not the only one. Our Amarillo hospitals are the same. Large Mexican families take over lounges on the regular floors too, violate rules but nobody makes them follow the rules. Its terribly rude and disrespectful yet nobody does a thing.
