If Biden pushes US back to Paris
accord, climate change won’t get better

“We’ll always have Paris,” runs the classic line from “Casablanca,” and it might as well serve as one of the Biden-Harris administration’s central mantras. Joe Biden promises to aggressively combat climate change, starting by rejoining the Paris Agreement, which Team Trump ditched to the horror of the global cognoscenti.
That’s not a good thing.
In 2015, the Obama administration entered the Paris Agreement. Unlike treaties, which must be ratified by the US Senate, the Paris Agreement is “voluntary”: Each signatory nation vows to reduce its greenhouse-gas emissions sometime in the future.

Since I do not believe Biden won this election, I find it very difficult to do these what ifs. I can’t even imagine a scenario with Biden as President. The democrats have won nothing and if there is any justice, the President will prove that in a court of law. These articles are conditioning us to accept a fraud and I just refuse to do it. The media believes they can shape public opinion with their lies. Not happening. We know the scurrilous democrats have lied, cheated and attempted to steal what they could not win and I refuse to be a part of their strategy to set the narrative of a Biden administration. God save us from that disaster!

Combat against Climate Change is similar to Tilting at Windmills, which was described by Cervantes in the 17th century and has been referenced for centuries as a futile exercise. Apparently some people never learn but in Biden's case I'm sure he has already designed some sort of kickback for his corrupt family.

Born in 1950. Climate has not changed one bit my whole life.
The MSM hyperventilating about an occasional heat wave or rain storm or dry spell has changed.
And every time they hyperventilate someone else comes along and looks at the real data and finds nothing unusual has happened.
Headline will be "hottest day ever". Later someone will point out that it was hotter on that day something like 70 years ago. But there won't be a correction headline.

Jonathan, once again, you assume that Plugs is president. He isn't. No one has won the election. No one is president-elect. The msm has claimed Plug's is projected president-elect. The investigation of fraud continues, Jonathan.
But, for the sake of discussion, if America is ever pushed back into this Paris climate accord by any president, it would not be for the purpose of addressing the left's pretend concern over any climate change. The left's continued objective is to achieve global conformance to a new world order. Climate change is used by the globalists as a social/political lever intended to impose certain behaviors on we who will be forced to become world citizens. As an example, look over the World Economic Forum's website when you get a chance to read up on the Great Reset. The social contract that will be imposed on us is ghastly. And this is just the beginning of the transformation that Obie and the Bushes spoke of. Plugs the cheater for president? Nope.

This is tiring and a complete waste of time. I can think of nothing higher on the scale of arrogance thinking man can change what has been occuring for millions of years. Also, every time we continue to deal with Europe on most anything it's like stepping in a fresh cowpie. There's a reason we got on a boat centuries ago to leave this thinking behind. Besides, if we did have such powers to control our environment to this degree wouldn't it have been done by now?

It's all about money folks... President Trump told US about the globalists wanting access to our money... WE are the richest nation... the fake media tries to discourage dissent because when light shines on facts... the truth comes forth...I will never concede this election to a mentally challenged_____you fill in the word... my faith is in President Trump and the legal system...

The Paris Accord is a treaty. It was so ridiculously onesided that Obama refused to submit it to the Senate for approval. The Senate has the power to make treaties, not the President. Obama exceeded his Constitutional power then and Biden wants to do the same. I hope this time the Senate has the guts to object to such a power grab.

Yes, what a remarkable piece of firm grasp of the obvious but it will NOT matter a whit. The Marxists are not doing this for the climate. They are doing this to control you. They are doing this so that most of the "scientists" who ignore science will be believed by most of the people in this nation who will gladly skip to my lou into slavery. Just because a writer provides arguments about the ridiculous fallacy of the Paris climate hoax, it doesn't matter if Harris gets the Senate as well as the House. This is ONLY a matter of control in exactly the same way the Chicom virus hoax is a matter of control. Paris has nothing to do the climate and the Chicom virus "preventions" have nothing to do with your health.

Probably 90% of the pollution is coming to us from China, but WE are the ones they want to pay for it...so f(*k them with a 10 foot piece of pipe...(made in China)..
I think about the volume of air surrounding this world and fail to understand how we, who have only had the industrial revolution for what, 125 years, can be in any way responsible for global warming, which is a natural process....cyclic in nature.....

The Paris Climate "treaty" has no effect on greenhouse gas emissions. All that it requires is that signatory countries announce voluntary goals for reducing emissions. America has the best record of reducing emissions after President Trump pulled America out of the accord. He got us out for two main reasons:
Leftist law-fare groups were amassing litigation to use American courts to compel American companies to conform to other nations' laws, not American law.
Kleptocratic countries were lining up to dun the American taxpayer for hundreds and hundreds of billion dollars "to fight global warming" under the terms of the Paris accord.

Why doesn't the Paris Accord only apply to the nation causing the most pollution? You know? China?

The date for starting to reduce emissions started the day the US was committed to it by Obama, and only king Obama. Other nations, notably China and India could increase emissions for more than a decade. Only then were they were to start doing anything about their emissions. By the time they were to start, just their increase in emissions would be greater than our total emissions now. Even if the US met the emission goals set for us there would be much more emissions in the world. The US would destroy its economy to no benefit.

Well, of course the Paris Climate Accord won't make "climate change" any better . . . but it will make you a WHOLE LOT poorer and a lot more enslaved!
