“Generations yet unborn” will come to regret Amy Coney Barrett’s elevation to the Supreme Court, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said on the Senate floor, shortly before a majority voted on Monday to confirm the pro-life, conservative judge onto the bench.Schumer was not likely thinking of unborn babies in the womb; his next sentence began with an allusion to climate change. But the same sentence also included a reference to abortion, as he lamented what he described as “reactionary state legislatures curtail[ing] a woman’s right to choose.”

Schumer cares about “future generations”? What a sickeningly ironic statement. Perhaps Chuck is really worried about what the way in which he is remembered by what’s left of future generations.

You have to laugh.
Seriously, what an idiot.
“Generations unborn,”— that’ll STAY unborn, in keeping with progressives’ notions of abortions for the sale of infant body parts— won’t ever know anything but the love of a pitying God.
Another Bidenesque Democrat, so marinated in leftist dogma the meaning of his own rhetoric eludes him.
You might think references to the, “unborn,” in this context might resonate a little, especially to a United States Senator used to, uh, public speaking; but for Democrats one may reflexively assume their pronouncements have no real meaning.

Roe v. Wade will never be repealed unless and until Congress solves the problem. Roe v. wade (which is judge-made legislation) exists because (several gutless) Congresses failed to solve the problem. What problem? The problem was that many states criminalized abortions while other states had "abortion mills." Pregnant women who could not afford to travel to a state (or a foreign county) that allowed abortions risked criminal prosecution if they resided in a state that criminalized abortion. The SC considered these circumstances to be intolerable.

This is the most ironic statement the moron has ever made.
What he unwittingly alluded to was that the yet to be born will be glad an anti-abortion Justice ensured they had the chance for life.

Schumer is straying deep into Old Joe territory. Given that Leftism is a disease, it naturally leads to more serious brain problems. With another lib judge, those future generations would never see daylight, Schmucky.

Since abortion was promoted by Margaret Sanger to limit the births of those she viewed as undesirables, primarily poor blacks. our society may suffer if abortion is drastically limited by the Supremes. Does our society really want hundreds of thousands more illegitimate children born to unwed mothers with multiple absentee fathers? As morally reprehensible as abortion is, it is a form of birth control with a segment of our population either too lazy or too ignorant to practice birth control and delayed gratification.
The dispicable Schumer is right but for the wrong reason because future generations will suffer if there if we stop aborting illegitimate babies. We need to be concerned with the victims of crimes and the destruction of our cities.

In addition to the logic pointed out by all above, this is rich:
“The far-right has never held a majority on the Court to limit Roe v. Wade...”
The worm admits, albeit it unknowingly, that the Left has held the majority on the court forever. Which made Roe “the law of the land” in the first place.
(Is Shmuck as stupid as I think he is?)

Schumer, in attacking Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court Amy Coney Barrett, invokes the near full term babies whose abortions he strongly supports. You can't make this up. You can't get any more hypocritical. Would you want your soul handcuffed to Schumer's when he departs this veil of tears? Schumer is a barbarian in a suit. What the hell is wrong with a majority of New York state voters?

Additionally in those days we did not have the wide variety of birth control available. Celibacy being the best birth control.
New technology has proven beyond doubt that babies in the womb are people. They smile, move to music, respond to voices, twins hold each other... I could go on and on. There should be almost no reason to abort a child.
As the left loves to bellow their new mantra is....
SCIENCE IS REAL!

With our birthrate as low as it is we aren't really going to have future generations.
I envision a solitary woman left waving a pro abortion flag and disappointed that there
aren't any men left to impregnate her so she can have her vaunted abortion.

Don't worry Chuck, New York had legal abortions prior to the 1973 Roe decision, and still does, even if Roe was overturned tomorrow.
Illinois just signed a law ensuring legal abortions for their state just recently.
California already allows for legal abortions should Roe be overturned.
Some of those limits you mention, are to end late-term abortion practice that the people in Virginia seem to believe is okay even after birth, based on previous testimony.
Come on, man! Worry about your own constituents since they are who YOU represent.

Schumer either does not realize or does not care that his claim is totally irrational. If he prevails, “generations yet unborn” will be "unborn" because they were aborted. And, the ever expanding defining of abortion to include killing a baby after it is born through action or neglect will have the ultimate negative effect on “generations yet unborn.” His support of the extermination of unwanted humans has a chilling similarity to the Nazi's "Final Solution" -- an ironic position for a Jew.

Chuckie Schumer represents the Soviet Socialist State of New York.
If Roe v. Wade were overturned by the Supreme Court tomorrow, abortion would still be legal in the Soviet Socialist State of New York. In fact, without federal limitations, it would probably be legal for the entire 9 months of pregnancy and paid for with state tax dollars.
There may be a couple of states that would out and out ban abortion. But most of those states only have 1 or 2 abortion slaughterhouses open. So instead of a woman having to drive 2 hours to a big city in her state to have an abortion, she would have to drive 2.5 hours to an adjoining state to slaughter her baby.
Lie-berals sure whine a lot without any logic, reason, or facts behind it!!!
