Less than 24 hours after she was confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court, Justice Amy Coney Barrett is already being asked to recuse herself from a case and liberals are calling for her impeachment. Barrett will begin hearing oral arguments next week after being sworn in at a private ceremony at the Supreme Court Tuesday. But her confirmation late Monday – with not a single Democrat vote – set off apoplectic reactions from the left and calls for packing the high court in revenge. Critics of President Donald Trump have already begun the impeachment narrative against his Supreme Court pick should she not recuse herself from a Pennsylvania election case.

If they have their panties in a wad over her swearing in, imagine what is going to happen when Justice Barrett is the "decider" when a case comes before the court regarding Trump's election or Ballot counting or Polls staying open for hours more than they are allowed ! I think we are going to have an exciting next couple of weeks!

The justice system, such as it is, will never recover when we start impeaching for rulings that we font agree with. So long as the rulings follow the law.
Btw..... they were talking about impeaching Kavenah too.

Time for a convention of States to amendment the Constitution. One, balanced budget. 2, term limits, 3 since Dems act like 2 year olds throwing a tantrum and can't goobern, change the requirement to impeach in the House to 3/4s of the entire House.

Did Kagan recuse herself on the 0bamacare case when it came before the SCOTUS? Hell, no. And she was an attorney working with Pelosi on crafting that heinous bit of legislation.
Demonrats need to remember the words of their mulatto messiah - “Elections have consequences. We won.”

#1, for not being a left wing zealot and legislating from the bench. She is guilty by her own admission in her acceptance speech.
For the sane ones of us, this is a good thing. For the leftist loons, it is a horror.

Justice Coney Barrett’s impeachable offense is that she’s not ideologically aligned with liberals and does not intend to let them make up their own voting laws on the fly. On Planet Democrat this is referred to as ‘voter suppression’. On Earth we call it ‘unconstitutional’.

What truly power hungry losers. Grow up and try to put the country before your narcissistic selfs. It's getting very boring. Judge Amy Coney Barrett has more fairness, class and intelligence in her baby finger than you have in your whole body. You've kind of diluted what impeachment means, losers.

I laugh when the leftists threaten to pack the court. That scenario would involve them being in a position to do so. Ever the optimist , I'm not sure they'll ever be in that position. Guess we won't know that until after the civil war.

And that dumbazz Hirono saying 'hell no' on the Senate floor...she needs to take a flight on the same airlines that crashed and killed (the only one of seven people aboard) the politician who 'verified' Obamazombies birth certificate...oh, you forgot that?

@#8 - A constitutional amendment is also necessary to freeze the Supreme Court at 9 members.

The first session of the U.S. Supreme Court was held in on February 1, 1790.*
Before 1869 Congress routinely changed the number of Supreme Court justices, resulting in as few as 5 to as many as 10 under Lincoln.
George Washington set the original number at 6.
In 1789 there were 13 - one for each state.
In 1801 Congress decreased the number from 6 to 5.
By the start of the Civil War, the number had increased to 9.
In 1863 Lincoln added a 10th justice.
In 1866 Congress reduced the number to 7.
In 1869 Congress increased the number 9, where it has remained.**

Every time they lose they want an undo, or a redo until they win. That whole approach got old years ago. Go away.

If any judge or justice should be impeached it is Emmet Sullivan. Bet these so called experts calling for Barretts impeachment would sing a different tune about Sullivan even though he has actively used the courts for political purposes.

The other two 'females' on the Court did not recuse themselves from ANYTHING, even if the cases were ones they had helped form the legislation for before being on the S.C. ;Same as always, the Dems are the epitome of hypocrites.

PA better see to their own political house, because from where the rest of us are sitting and watching, they are up to their epaulets in fraud. That right there is worthy of prosecution. I seriously hope she stands her ground, because we need her commonsense this term.

They will also demand that she recuse herself or be impeached with every abortion case that comes up; she has too many children.

Would somebody please find a way to explain to lie-berals, in simple words that they can understand, that "we don't like you" is not a valid reason to impeach anyone?!?!?!?
