Cable news ratings exploded in October across Fox News, CNN and MSNBC as all three networks saw record numbers for the month, with Fox News having the highest-rated month in cable news history, according to Nielsen Media Research.
The month included a positive coronavirus test for the president, who was briefly hospitalized, and a fever pitch on the presidential campaign trail. The month also included a presidential debate, a vice presidential debate and multiple town hall events.
Fox News led the way with a whopping 4.9 million total viewers in prime time,

Good for Fox's evening lineup, especially Tucker! It would seem that people are getting tired of being shucked and jived by the rest of the MSM.

So why does Fox continually insist on pushing itself in a direction -- LEFT -- that their viewers and the nation do not want to go? --Veterans for Trump 2020

They are OK compared to abccbsnbccnnmsnbc. I prefer Newsmax. Tucker, Sean, Laura & Fox & Friends keep Fox alive....the others are unwatchable. Bill Hemmer had Scaramucci on yesterday...unbelievable...

More and more viewers are turning into Fox's evening lineup (Tucker, Hannity and Laura) to see REAL news. However it's clear that many other Fox programs (sometimes even "Fox and Friends") are creeping to the left. Many of Fox's talking heads (especially at various times between 10 AM through 8 PM) are increasingly making anti-Trump comments that are out of place and unwarranted.
If you watch closely you can see the anti-Trump comments are often because of instructions being given to the talking head through his or her earpiece. The anti-Trump commentary varies from day to day. Some days it's strong, and other days it's light or even pro-Trump. It seems to change depending on what the President did the preceding day.

Love me some Tucker! If they try and shut him up, he has a place at Newsmax.

Fox Business News is must-see TV. Maria Bartiromo is amazing. Lou Dobbs is verbose - - but 100% on our team. Stewart Varney - - a real patriot. Charles Payne - - very solid. Neil Cavuto - - despicable NeverTrumper. They can't all be winners.

We can be thankful that CNN and MSNBC sucked millions and millions of dollars out of the Biden campaign for advertising that went nowhere...except to committed never-Trumpers.

Yeah, historic highs today, but after the election? Back in the tank for most of them.

"Historic high" requires gaining viewers from CNN/MSNBC. Those brain-numbed viewers must have received a neuron-jolt during the debates and realized there was something wrong with Joe, along with the talking heads' DNC talking points. I suspect this trend for truth-seeking will continue.

Tucker is a brilliant journalist, and a very brave man. The country is much indebted to him.

“Explode”?
That’s what I’d like to see happen to the
Democrat Media Complex
of registered Democrat tv news hacks at
abc nbc cbs cnn pbs msnbc
Those six fake news liars force us to search for the truth on tv news
Fox is all we end up tuning to for some semblance of truth
Maybe after the landslide on Nov 3rd
We can petition for a “network” or two like they have to combat the narrative and lies and disinformation and misinformation they tell their viewers... a network that’s void of creeps like cavuto and Wallace and Williams and baier and mccallum and napolitano and the rest of Paul Ryan’s never trump squad.
And teach Hannity and Ingraham to respect their guests and quit interrupting and talking over them..we want news, not a “show”..

Not surprising. What little professional sports that is televised is a political statement and people don't care to see it anymore. The network shows are all reruns people have seen already, that leaves cable news with the only feed of current shows.

The one remaining shining light on Fox News, Tucker Carlson's program, is the only reason Fox gets my attention. After tuning into Carlson's program last night and watching his blockbuster interview with Tony Bobulinski, I was in horror as to what Bobulinski disclosed about the Biden family's corruption. That one-hour interview must have put Fox's ratings up into the stratosphere.

As the ONLY network covering the Biden Crime Family, they are drawing a lot of attention.
Let's hope that this translates into fewer votes for Traitor Joe, and more for President Trump.

Tucker is really more of an opinion show than hard news but there really is no more hard news even at Fox with its leftward tilt these last few years. Fox and Friends - meh, okay. Can do without Doocy and Ainsley. Sandra Smith - OMG - forget her lefty news angle. Outnumbered, The Five, etc - forget them. Fox Business is the best of the Fox lineups.

We refuse to watch fox. We haven't for years.
We are a OANN family!

There was a time, #10, when Tucker's performance as a journalist, while laudatory, was not completely unusual. As an ex-journalist I can (vaguely) remember those days. The Lefties will, I'm sure, keep going after Tucker. Here's hoping Fox won't cave, as they so often have.

P.S. Forgive me for a second post, but I have to add that Fox should be replacing Chris Wallace, Fox News Sunday, with Maria Bartiromo--she's awesome! and puts Wallace to shame.

Not surprised that FOX is leading. Despite the fact that it has drifted left to the point that anyone trying to mention George Soros's name gets their sentence interrupted instantly by "technical difficulties." [Newt Gingrich for example]
BUT the alternatives are so in the tank for the socialists that they have all completely spiked the biggest presidential politics scandal - by far - in US history.

Tucker is fantastic, but I've noticed even he has left Soros alone for several weeks. That's not a good sign.

FTA: "All three of the major cable news networks also saw substantial growth when compared to the same month last year...CNN saw a 98 percent increase in total viewers when compared to October 2019, and a 116 percent jump in the demographic, while MSNBC is up 38 percent in total viewers and 45 percent in the younger category."
With all of the cheering-on of a little less leftist media slant at Fox, the big in-your-face leftist networks are also benefiting from conservative viewership, as well. Isn't any support of network TV analogous to voting for leftist politicians (democrats) in the big blue cities and states?

Yes, the good news is that Fox came out on top, but the bad news is that the 2 major lefty networks had more viewers in total than Fox.

I watch very little TV, but I saw the T. Carlson interview of Mr B. last night. It should have been a 2 or 3 hour show because there is a massive amount of info to be made public. The man has EVIDENCE of everything that he was involved with, PLUS.

Fox isn't completely pro-Trump but, at least, they're not an msdnc or cnn. I don't like the "Fair and Balanced" slogan but I when I turn on Fox I won't be inundated with slop that a station wishes to pass for "news".

I’m sure Tucker’s ratings are up but have switched over to OAN and no longer watch Brett or Martha or anything that has Chris Wallace, Donna Brazaille, Juan Williams or that venomous Richard guy.
