Joe Biden called President Donald Trump “George” on Sunday, as if he were running against George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, or maybe George Washington, before catching himself. (Or being helped by someone outside the camera’s view.) He appeared to be a tired old man in need of help with his everyday life. Yet at both debates, though he made mistakes, he looked to be far more sentient, at times even sharp, in stark contrast to the doddering senior citizen we usually see. How can this happen?
“What kind of country we’re gonna be,” Biden asked in a weekend interview

Biden's handlers have adjusted his circadian rhythms so that the time of the debate is to him like early morning. At the debates Joe acts as if he just finished his breakfast. This is to avoid sundowning. He's a mess after late afternoon.

It’s pretty obvious that using drugs they can keep him relatively alert for a while. I watched him jog across the stage in an obvious attempt to show how active he was. I am older than Biden, and would be embarrassed if I looked as bad jogging as he. Even his walking gait shows a feeble man and that when he is trying his best. To sell an old feeble guy with a communist waiting to take over is treason.

I will never forget that the rats advance a second criminal candidate for POTUS and in this case one that for sure can't finish the term. Bait in switch is good to bad so just think how bad the replacement must be in this case. The worst depressing thing is the press and half of america is in on it. I have to say america needs a fundamental change we have way too many dishonest people in this country. Banning the democrat party would a start. How does this country ban a party?

Ok we all can reach the obvious conclusion, the magic of modern pharmaceuticals. But that answer is incomplete without the obvious follow up; if you are a functional debater on your meds and a babbling old fool without them, why in the hell would you ever appear in public on the campaign trail on camera without your meds on board?
With that information alone I would conclude that the meds that have such a positive impact on him must be something worth the risk or worth the damage for infrequent use and too risky or too damaging to use any more often that you absolutely have to. Which then means as POTUS he might use them for essential meetings and be as functional as he is in debates, which alone is a scary proposition, but for every day POTUS business he's the the babbling old fool. When that 3:00AM call comes you get the the guy who can't count to three.

I think he's faking dementia. He's fine when he wants to be fine and crazy when he wants to be crazy. What he wants is to be elected, removed, and have all investigations of him stopped. If necessary pardoned.

Even the drugs were wearing off from the middle of the debate. His Methamphetamines were wearing thin after all the debate prep. Much like Adolph Hitler had, I wonder who his "Dr. Feelgood" might be?

I’ve puzzled over this same question. Biden doesn’t exhibit advanced dementia but he certainly is far from well mentally. His problems with recall of people, place and time and his frequently slow recall of words could very well be early dementia. Anyone who has experience working with such people knows that with time all of this gets worse. Drugs can only help so much, circadian rhythms probably more in early stages. Britt Hume explained Biden as having “senior moments” of slow recall and sloppy but benign remembrance of immediate circumstance i.e. Senator vs President; George vs Trump or Vermont vs New Hampshire but Biden does these things constantly outside of debates and seniors aren’t typically that impaired.

Easy explanation, Debate Joe is Tom Chaillou, the actor, comedian and incredible impersonator of Biden, especially on the Greg Gutfled show. Senility Joe is the actual Joe Biden because Hunter is terrified that Tom Chaillou might be elected rather than his corrupt father if the impersonator is campaigning every day.

He didn't campaign for 4 full days before the debate. So who knows what they are pumping into his system. Since then he often appears short tempered, dull, and low on stamina. Reminds me of Soviet leaders who would disappear for weeks at a time and then show up at their own funeral.

Ive heard a theory that they are giving him some medication that will keep him alert anf functioning for a period of time. Cant recall the name of the meds. But, prolonged or repeated doses have serious side effects.

I really don't care to suggest to Biden any opportunity for financial support, but it seems obvious that the pharmaceutical producers ought to be major sponsors of his campaign.
Maybe being their spokesman in commercials is a backup plan to his presidential aspirations.

Did anyone see the video of him in Georgia yesterday after his “rally”? He was asked a question and stood there mumbling in a fog until his staff ran the reporters off. I doubt that he had any idea where he was or why he was there. His drugs must have been timed just to get him through his speech and then he crashed.

They get him to bed earlier, and time-shift him in those 5 days he always disappears so that for Joe, the 8pm debate time is only a couple of hours after he got up and got his breakfast.
No 'sundowning', and then a huge shot of multiple drugs, which were wearing off in the last half an hour of the last debate.

Early on, dementia medications are quite effective. But, as the dementia advances, not so much and eventually nothing can stop it.

He is getting some outside help from some heavy psych meds. Probably at science fiction level dosages as well. If you watched him closely during the debates, he was up and pretty normal for the beginning, but by the time the last 15-20 minutes arrived, he started fading fast. That is where his Apple watch kept him on track. He wasn't checking that for the time, he was checking it for texts telling him what to say.
The DNC and Jill Biden's abuse of this sick man is bordering on criminal. They both need to be legally prosecuted for what they are doing to him. I despise Biden, but to watch this abuse playing out is gut wrenching. I loathe elder abuse in any form.

No, the candidates were not subjected to drug tests before either debate, as Trump had requested, because the Biden campaign refused, offering no explanation as to why, and because the Presidential Debate Commission did not require them.
The Biden campaign also refused Trump's request that the candidates be checked for earpieces and other electronic devices. And in the first debate, if you watch closely enough, it looks like Biden had a microphone on his wrist (under his shirt sleeve), and one point even seemed to speak into it, and several times he adjusted something he was wearing underneath his coat.

When he is absent for four days, I think he is getting an IV of something. Maybe Hunter shares his stash.
